Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat novelti hasil penelitian penulis tentang pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan peranan guru terhadap motivasi dan peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Purbatua Tapanuli Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017.rumusan hipotesis penelitian berbunyi ”Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara bimbingan belajar guru terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 PurbatuaTahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017.”  Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dan inferensial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII pada sekolah tersebut di atas dengan jumlah 168 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak (random sampling) sebesar 25% x 168 orang = 40 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket yang berjumlah 30 dan diujicobakan kepada 30 siswa kelas VIII ( selain dari sampel penelitian) SMP Negeri 1 Purbatua yang bukan responden penelitian. Dari hasil uji validitas angket untuk variabel X diketahui 2 item tidak valid karena nilai rhitung (antara 0,213 sampai dengan 0,308) < rtabel(=0,05,IK=95%,n=30) yaitu 0,361, dan 13 item valid karena nilai rhitung  (antara 0,467 sampai dengan 0,705)  >  rtabel(=0,05,IK=95%,n=30) yaitu 0,361. Untuk variabel Y diketahui 15 valid karena nilai rhitung  (antara 0,399 sampai dengan 0,637) > rtabel(=0,05,IK=95%,n=30) yaitu 0,361. Dari uji reliabilitas diperoleh untuk variabel X r11 = 0,809 nilai ini berada pada indeks korelasi tinggi. Dan untuk variabel Y r11 = 0,782 nilai ini berada pada indeks korelasi cukup. Dengan demikian diperoleh 28 item valid dan reliabel sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data penelitian dianalisa dengan menggunakan Regresi Logistik Ordinal dengan melakukan dua uji, yaitu: 1) uji keseluruhan diperoleh nilai p = 0,028 < 0,05, artinya H­0 ditolak, 2) uji parsial  diperoleh nilai nilai p = 0,047 < 0,05, artinya Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara peran aktif guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Purbatua Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018. Nilai Odds Ratio dari hasil output minitab adalah  = 6.37 artinya setiap perubahan pada kategori di dalam variabel Peranan Aktif guru akan mengakibatkan perubahan sebesar 6,37 kali untuk memiliki motivasi dan prestasi yang tinggi pada siswa. Kata Kunci : Peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar, Peran aktif guru PAK, Dampak positif

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis untuk tujuan mengangkat novelti hasil penelitian penulis dengan judul strategi pembelajaran guru terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademik dan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Purbatua Tapanuli Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2018/2019.rumusan hipotesis penelitian berbunyi ”Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara strategi pembelajaran guru terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademik dan motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 PurbatuaTahun Pembelajaran 20182019.”  Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dan inferensial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII pada sekolah tersebut di atas dengan jumlah 120 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak (random sampling) sebesar  30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket yang berjumlah 30 dan diujicobakan kepada 30 siswa kelas VIII ( selain dari sampel penelitian) SMP Negeri 1 Purbatua yang bukan responden penelitian. Dari tabel perhitungan diatas diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 28,00 dan jika dikonsultasikan terhadap Ftabel=(α=0,05,dk pembilang k=16, dk  penyebut=n-2=30-2=28)=1,62 maka Fhitung  > Ftabel  yaitu 28,00 >1,62, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Strategi Pembelajaran Guru dengan Peningkatan Prestasi dan motivasi Siswa SMPN 1 Purbatua Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara tahun Pelajaran 2018-2019.  Kata Kunci : Strategi pembelajaran guru, Motivasi belajar, prestasi akademik

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Social Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers on Student Learning Motivation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Raya. The method used is a descriptive quantitative research method, with a population of 237 students and a sample taken of 25% so that the sample for this research is 59 students using Random Sampling techniques. The instrument used in this research used a closed questionnaire of 33 questions, of which 20 questionnaire items were for variable X and 20 items were for variable Y which had been tested on 33 students outside the research sample. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant influence between the Social Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers on Student Learning Motivation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Raya. 1) Test the relationship between rcount > rtable, namely 0.574>0.226; 2) Significant test tcount>ttable, namely 5.292>2.021; 3) Determination test, namely 32.94%; 4) The regression equation is obtained from Y ̂= 14.91+0.69X ; 5) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable = (α= 0.05, dk numerator k = 19, dk denominator = n-2 = 59-2 = 57) namely 27.87> 1.40. Thus Ha, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the Social Competence of Christian Religious Education Teachers on Student Learning Motivation in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Raya is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant influence of the Talking Stick learning model and the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP N 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a pre-experimental designs research type in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population was all Protestant Christian students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung consisting of 4 classes totaling 121 students and a sample of 31 people was determined using purposive sampling. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with 30 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence on the Talking Stick learning model on the learning motivation of Christian Religious Education students and character in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year as evidenced by the significant test obtained by the value tcount > ttable (α=0 .05; dk=n-1=30) which is 7.197 > 2.042, thus there is a significant influence between variable X and variable Y. Thus H0 is rejected and Ha is that there is a positive and significant influence on the Talking Stick learning model on learning motivation students of Christian Religious Education and character education in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year were accepted.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Christian Religious Education and Character Education book material for class VII SMP students, Revised 2016, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in forming Christian character values. The data consisting of 14 chapters of Christian Religious Education and Character Education book material listed above were analyzed through library research using a qualitative approach method. The results of this research are that the material in the book Christian Religious Education and Character for Grade VII SMP students, Revised 2016, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, is effective in forming Christian Character Values, if the structure of the chapters is reconstructed according to the analytical reference: the fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5:22 -23 is proven by the existence of Christian Religious Education and Character Book material for Class VII Middle School Students which contains material on Christian Character Values in accordance with the reference analysis of Galatians 5:22-23 (fruit of the spirit), namely: 1). Kasih refers to the material in chapter VII, chapter X, and chapter XI changed to chapters I, II, and III, 2). Joy refers to material from chapter VI changed to chapter IV, 3). Peace and Prosperity refers to the material in chapter I and chapter V was changed to chapters V and VI, 4). Patience refers to material in chapter III and chapter IV was changed to chapters VII and VIII, 5). Mercy refers to material in chapter II and chapter VIII was changed to chapters IX and X, 6). Kindness refers to material in chapter XII changed to chapter XI, 7). Loyalty refers to material in chapter IX changed to chapter XII, 8). Meekness refers to material in chapter XIII and chapter XIII, and 9). Self-Mastery refers to material from chapter XIV and remains chapter XIV.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the cooperative integrated reading and composition learning model on learning motivation for Christian Religious Education & Character Education in class XI of HKBP 2 Tarutung Private High School for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.This research uses a Posttest-Only Control type experimental method. The population is all class XI of HKBP 2 Tarutung Private High School for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 160 people. The sample was determined using a technique taken deliberately (purposive sampling) with the specified conditions that the learning material being experimented with was in that class, namely class XI IIS-1 students totaling 32 people as the experimental class and XI IIS-3 totaling 32 people as the control class. The research instrument used a 27 item test. The t test used is the Separated Variance t test according to the test analysis requirements, namely n1=n2 and the variance of the two sample groups is homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a value of tcount= 13.9 > ttable (=0.05; dk=n1+n2-2=62) = ttable 1.669, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This research concludes that students' motivation to learn Christian Religion & Character Education taught using the cooperative integrated reading and composition learning model is higher than that taught using the conventional learning model in class XI of HKBP 2 Tarutung Private High School for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the positive and significant relationship between the attention of Christian parents and the motivation to learn Christian Religious Education and Character in Class The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant relationship between the attention of Christian parents and the motivation to learn Christian Religious Education and Character in Class Descriptive and inferential quantitative research methods. The population of all class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Raya Simalungun Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 159 people. The sample using the cluster random sampling technique is 25% of the total population, namely 25% x 159 people = 40 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: 1) Basic assumption test, namely: a) Normality test showed that the data for variable X and variable Y were normally distributed, b) Homoscedity test showed that the data for variable 2) The positive relationship test obtained a value of rcount=0.241<rtable=0.312, thus there is not enough evidence to say that there is a positive relationship between the attention of Christian parents and students' motivation to learn Christian Religious Education and Character. 3) Testing the hypothesis obtained tcount=1.531<ttable=2.021, so H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. The research concluded that there is not enough evidence to say that the attention of Christian parents has a positive relationship with the learning motivation for Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Raya for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Expository Learning Model on the Learning Motivation of Class X Students of SMK HKBP Sidikalang 2022/2023. The method used in this research is a quantitative inferential statistical research method. The population is all 119 class X students of HKBP Sidikalang Vocational School who are Christians. Sampling used random sampling techniques, namely class X with a total of 48 people. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 36 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Expository Learning Model on the PAK Learning Motivation of class ,n=48) = 0.284, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable = 1.678, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) Test the effect of regression determination (r2) = 15.44%. 2) Influence test: Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Ŷ=37.68+1.31X. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This research concludes that there is a positive and significant influence of the Expository Learning Model on the PAK Learning Motivation of Class In connection with the results of this research, the author provides input for schools to improve and maintain a good and structured Expository learning model so that it can increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the Influence of the Recitation Method by PAK Teachers on the Learning Activity of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence of the recitation method by PAK teachers on the learning activity of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. With a population of all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga who are Protestant Christians totaling 121 people with a sample of 37 people, this study uses a descriptive method with a random sampling technique. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 40 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to expert theory. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year using 46 questionnaire questions and after being tested, the results of the validity of the questionnaire trial were found to be rcount = -0.352 - 0.609 (there were 6 question items that had a validity of less than rtable 0.361 so that invalid questionnaires were discarded. Thus, the valid questionnaires amounted to 40 questions. And the reliability of the questionnaire trial which was at a value of 0.899 had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the Recitation Method by PAK Teachers on the Learning Activity of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. With the relationship test, it was obtained that rcount> rtable, namely 0.706> 0.325, with a significant relationship test of tcount> ttable, namely 8.319>2.021, with a linear regression test Y ̂ = α+bx = 23.39+0.355X. This equation shows that in a constant state of 26.98, for every addition of variable X (recitation method) by one unit, there will be an increase in variable Y (student learning activity) by 0.355 from (variable X), coefficient of determination 49.84%. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The significant effect test with Fcount>Ftable (34.735>4.08) means that there is a positive and significant effect between the recitation method by PAK teachers on the learning activity of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolga in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study suggests that teachers always increase the use of the recitation method in the teaching and learning process, so that class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sibolg are more active in participating in class learning.

"The Influence of PAK Learning Interest Through the Implementation of the Game Based Learning Model for Class IX of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Academic Year 2024/2025." Thesis: Christian Religious Education Study Program, Tarutung State Christian Institute. The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX students of SMP N 4 Doloksanggul for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research uses quantitative with a descriptive approach to inferential statistics. The population is all class IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 149 people and a sample of 43 people was determined, namely 30% of the population using simple random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 46 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX students of SMP N 4 Doloksanggul for the 2024/2025 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.594> rtable = 0.301, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable significant between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 35.3%. 3) Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount> Ftable=22.28>1.51. Thus Ha is that there is a positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX SMP N 4 Doloksanggul Academic Year 2024/2025 is accepted and H0 is rejected.
