Abstract

The current research revealed if syukr and sabr have a positive significant correlation with life satisfaction. The objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between syukr, sabr and life satisfaction of millennial generation. The methodology used correlation quantitative method. The subjects in this study were 164 with age range 18-23 years. The result of this research showed a significant correlation between syukr and life satisfaction (p = 0,000; p < 0,05) with a score of correlation’s coefficient 0.996 for syukr and the score of correlation’s coefficient for sabr is 0.997. Thus, this means that syukr and sabr are positively correlated with life satisfaction of millennial generation.

Abstract

Berdasarkan tahapan perkembangan, masa sekarang merupakan masa yang ideal bagi generasi milenial untuk membangun rumah tangga. Namun, kenyataannya semakin banyak generasi milenial yang memutuskan untuk menunda menikah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji wanita bekerja generasi milenial yang memutuskan untuk menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan emergent mixed method sequential explanatory design. Emergent mixed method adalah desain penelitian mixed method yang tidak direncanakan sejak awal. Peneliti terlebih dahulu melakukan penelitian kuantitatif, selanjutnya dilakukan penelitian kualitatif karena pada fase kuantitatif diperoleh temuan yang signifikan untuk didalami lebih lanjut. Partisipan pada Studi 1 terdiri atas 123 ibu bekerja, sedangkan 5 ibu bekerja menjadi partisipan pada Studi 2. Karakteristik partisipan penelitian ini adalah istri generasi milenial yang bekerja dan sedang menjalani 10 tahun awal masa pernikahan. Hasil temuan pada Studi 2 tidak sejalan dengan temuan Studi 1, atau terjadi discordance. Pada Studi 2 didapatkan temuan yang berbeda dengan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan di Negara Barat. Lebih lanjut, terdapat hal unik khas Indonesia berupa nilai religius yang dijadikan pegangan oleh para partisipan untuk menjaga keutuhan dan kelanggengan rumah tangga. Selain itu, keterlibatan pasangan untuk mengasuh anak mendatangkan kepuasan dan kebahagiaan kepada para partisipan dalam menjalani pernikahannya.

Abstract

Forgiveness is essential in marriage as it can bring a sense of satisfaction to married life. This study aims to adapt and examine the factor structure of the Marital Forgiveness Scale (MFS), a forgiveness instrument in the context of marriage. After the process of adaptation to the Indonesian language and culture, validity and reliability tests were conducted, and a MIMIC model was developed. In an online and offline survey, 330 millennials (128 husbands, 202 wives, M-marriage age = 25.33, SD-marriage age = 3.12) completed the Indonesian version of the MFS. The validity test was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis, with the results showing that the values obtained were satisfactory (CFI & TLI ≥ .95; RMSEA = .06; SRMR < .08). The multidimensionality measurement of the Indonesian version of the MFS consists of two dimensions, a positive and a negative. The omega coefficient for the Indonesian version of the MFS is .694 (positive dimension) and .787 (negative dimension), indicating satisfactory reliability in the millennial sample. The results of the MIMIC model show that items 2 and 3 in the negative dimension have gender variance in the MFS. The scale is a suitable measure for evaluating individuals’ dispositional forgiveness in Indonesian millennial marital couples. It is hoped that the instrument will contribute to the advancement of the study of forgiveness in the marital context in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of location, facilities, and education costs on students' decisions in choosing SMK Mulawarman Balikpapan. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents and analyzed using SPSS software version 26. The results of the t-test showed that the location variable had a positive and significant effect on the decision to choose a school (t = 5.657; sig 0.000), as well as the facility variable which showed a positive and significant effect (t = 2.606; sig 0.012). Conversely, the education cost variable had a negative and significant effect on students' decisions (t = -5.167; sig 0.000). The partial coefficient value shows that location contributed the most at 56%, followed by facilities at 21.1%, while education costs had a negative effect at 55.6%. These findings indicate that the more strategic the location and the better the facilities available, the higher the likelihood of students choosing that school. However, the higher the education costs borne, the lower the tendency of students to choose that school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program magang dalam mendukung peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa, khususnya di bidang keuangan. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu perusahaan ekspedisi trucking di Surabaya, di mana mahasiswa melaksanakan magang selama tiga bulan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan magang memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap sistem keuangan, keterampilan teknis seperti penginputan mutasi bank, serta pengembangan soft skills seperti ketelitian, kedisiplinan, dan kemampuan beradaptasi. Pengalaman langsung di lingkungan kerja memperkuat kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia profesional. Dengan demikian, program magang terbukti efektif dalam menunjang pencapaian kompetensi yang relevan dengan tuntutan industri.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of compensation, work environment, and motivation on job satisfaction among non- ASN employees of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Balikpapan City. The type of this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The method used is a survey, where the researcher collects data from non-ASN employees of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Balikpapan City through a questionnaire. This questionnaire is aimed at non-ASN employees as the primary source of information. Secondary data were obtained from books, journals, and websites. The research location is at Jl. Jenderal Sudirman No.29, Balikpapan. The research population consists of 115 people, using a saturated sampling technique. The independent variables are Compensation, Work Environment, and Motivation, while the dependent variable is Job Satisfaction. The data analysis methods include validity and reliability tests, linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that compensation and work environment had a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, while motivation did not significantly affect job satisfaction. The regression analysis confirmed that 59.5% of the variation in job satisfaction could be explained by the three independent variables, with the remaining 40.5% attributed to other unexamined factors
