= 0,05, p value < ?).   Kata Kunci: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Kecanduan Game online

Abstract

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of mortality in Indonesia. Strengthening primary health care through early detection of cardiovascular risk factors is essential to reduce the disease burden. However, limited Posyandu cadres’ capacity to identify risk factors and conduct basic screening remains a challenge in community-based promotive and preventive services. This community empowerment program involved 30 Posyandu cadres through interactive training comprising lectures, discussions, demonstrations, simulations, hands-on screening practice, and field mentoring. Program effectiveness was evaluated using a pre-test and post-test design to assess changes in knowledge, screening skills, and implementation of cardiovascular risk factor screening among community members. The results showed significant improvements in cadres’ capacity, with mean knowledge scores increasing from 62 to 89 and screening skills from 60% to 90%. Following training, cadres and the community service team screened 98 community members. Of these, 47 participants (47.96%) were classified as low risk, 33 (33.68%) as moderate risk, and 18 (18.36%) as high risk. Empowering Posyandu cadres through targeted training effectively enhanced their knowledge and practical screening skills, supporting community-based early detection and strengthening promotive and preventive services at the primary health care level. This model has potential as a replicable strategy for Indonesia’s Primary Health Care Transformation.

Abstract

Background: Aggressive behavior has become a severe behavioral problem in adolescents recently. Some cases have even been deemed an emergency for mental health behavior in adolescents. Many factors are suspected to be associated with aggressive behavior, one of which is anxiety. Anxiety and aggressive behavior remain widely studied in children, but the number of studies is limited to middle and late adolescents. In addition, there is no clear description of the psychosocial aspects between anxiety and aggressive behavior in adolescents based on the psychosocial development tasks. Objective: The study aims to identify the association between adolescents’ anxiety and aggressive behavior. Methods: The research used an analytical correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in senior high schools in Surakarta in July 2021. Subjects were taken using convenience sampling, in which 626 students filled out the online questionnaire, while 32 students did not complete some items resulting in a total sample of 594 respondents. Then, the research instruments employed DASS 21 for anxiety and Buss Perry Questionnaire for aggressive behavior. The statistical analysis then utilized the Pearson product-moment test. Results: The research revealed that most respondents were female (67,8%). The respondents had a bullying victim history (44.8%), a violence victim history (13.3%), and parental divorce history (10.3%). The statistical test also uncovered a significant correlation between anxiety and aggressive behavior (p-value 0.0001, r: 0.649, OR:7.86, CI 95%).Conclusion: The finding demonstrates the association between adolescents’ anxiety and aggressive behavior. Consequently, the community mental health nurses should organize a partnership mental health program with the senior high schools to manage adolescent anxiety and aggressive behavior

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a crucial issue in patients with cancer. Excessive and undetectable anxiety in cancer patients will contribute to the worsening of cancer patients' conditions. Therefore, nurses play a crucial role in providing anxiety first aid for cancer patients. Objective: The purpose of the study is to explore nurses’ experience in delivering anxiety first aid to patients with cancer. Method: This study utilized a descriptive qualitative design and reported following COREQ. The study was conducted in a public hospital in Surakarta, Indonesia. It included sixteen oncology nurses selected using a purposive sampling technique. Five head nurses participated in the focus group discussion, while the other eleven primary nurses conducted in-depth interviews. The focus group discussion lasted approximately 90 minutes, while each nurse's in-depth interview lasted approximately 60 minutes. The data analysis used the Colaizzi method. Results: The study indicated five themes, including 1) factors that cause anxiety, 2) psychosocial interventions for anxiety first aid, 3) peer support, 4) healthcare constraints, and 5) expectations for improving healthcare quality. Conclusion: The study highlighted factors that cause anxiety, psychosocial interventions for anxiety, first aid, peer support, treatment constraints, and expectations for improvement of health care services. To improve healthcare services for patients with cancer, it is important to establish a digital-based mental health support system, such as a friendly digital platform that serves as an instrument for healthcare providers to conduct timely and precise screenings and manage anxiety, thereby alleviating the burden of nurses' already considerable workloads.
