Abstract

Tumbuhan eceng gondok banyak ditemui di antranya dikawasan pesisir Sungai Martapura Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas. Dalam bidang pendidikan, eceng gondok memiliki potensi sebagai media pembelajaran, misalnya sebagai bahan pembuatan boneka. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, ditemukan bahwa guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Jannatusshibyan belum pernah menggunakan eceng gondok sebagai media pembelajaran, khususnya untuk mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI), meskipun sekolah ini berada di dekat sungai Martapura. Padahal, penggunaan media pembelajaran penting untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, terutama karena materi SKI di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah penuh dengan nilai-nilai pembentukan kepribadian muslim. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media yang dapat mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran non-ICT berbahan eceng gondok untuk mata pelajaran SKI di MI Jannatusshibyan, Desa Gudang Hirang, Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk, Kabupaten Martapura. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan tahapan berupa studi pendahuluan, perancangan produk, validasi ahli, uji coba lapangan, dan revisi produk. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis menjadi data kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menilai kelayakan media dan respon peserta didik kelas III MI Jannatusshibyan. Media pembelajaran non-ICT berbahan eceng gondok telah divalidasi oleh tiga ahli, yaitu ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa, dengan hasil layak dan mendapatkan respon yang sangat positif dari peserta didik. Dengan demikian, media berbahan eceng gondok ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi SKI sekaligus mendukung pelestarian lingkungan melalui pemanfaatan tumbuhan eceng gondok.

Abstract

This study was designed to identify the extent to which the utilization of gaming media from Gamilab on the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) can improve the learning achievement of gradeV students in SDN Gambut1. as research subjects. In the preliminary observation phase, teachers using Gamilab media obtained an activity score of 78.75% in cycleI.After being given the opportunity to improve their teachingpractice and integrate games more intensively, the score rose to 89.30% in cycleII. The comparison of mean?scores of students between cycleI and cycleII showed a significant improvement; in cycleI the mean?value recorded was 63%, while in cycleII it increased to 78%, signifying an increase of 15 percentage points. Further, the written test pass rate also showed growth: in cycleI only 70% of students achieved graduation standards, however in cycleII this figure jumped to 87%, signifying an increase of 17%. From the findings it can be concluded that the integration of Game Gamilab media in the learning?teaching process of IPAS positively impacts the quality of learning, improves teacher engagement, lifts students academic achievement, as well as increases the percentage of successfully qualified learners.

Abstract

This dedication program aims to enhance the awareness and competence of prospective Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers in conserving flora biodiversity through educational tourism approach as a science learning medium. Activities were implemented in the Banjarbaru City Botanic Garden, which is a natural laboratory rich in local and endemic flora, with an integrative approach including material delivery, field observation, as well as competency evaluation. Participants consisted of prospective students of MI teachers who were mentored to identify plants, understand ecosystems, and integrate local wisdom-based environmental conservation values. The methods employed create engaging, in-depth, and sustained learning experiences. Results showed a significant improvement in the participants’ ability in composing science learning activities that were contextual, innovative, and based on scientific observation. Additionally, participants showed positive attitudes towards environmental sustainability and high enthusiasm for implementing this learning model in their future school. These activities not only impact on improving pedagogical competencies, but also form caring teachers and become agents of change in preserving biodiversity in primary education environments. This model can serve as a reference for other community engagements focused on conservation and first-hand experience-based science learning.

Abstract

Modified realia media is education that combines the real world into the digital, involving students in exploring lesson concepts with a direct touch from digital technology or augmented reality (AR). With advances in technology, teachers have become a real media learning experience that is not only interactive and visual, but also offers a challenging depth of knowledge for students. Modified realia media bridges students not only by presenting views, but rather opens the door for students to touch, explore and interact directly with the essence of lesson concepts. Through collaboration in workshops and mentoring, it is hoped that teachers will enrich their skills in using modified realia media, enabling them to create unforgettable learning experiences for every student they guide. This process involves a series of steps starting from needs analysis with questionnaires, in-depth face-to-face learning, detailed training, to comprehensive evaluation, forming the basis for increasing teacher knowledge and developing skills in integrating technology in teaching. The results show their ability to create media that is not only interesting, but also in line with the essence of learning. The creativity of teachers is visible in their teaching, enabling them to incorporate this technology into various dimensions of learning, opening and expanding horizons for students' understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze students’ numeracy literacy skills in solving essay questions in Indonesian language learning at SDN Berangas Barat 3, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency. The research subjects consisted of 138 students from grades I–VI, along with classroom teachers as informants. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The instruments used included numerically-based essay questions, interview guidelines, and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques (Miles & Huberman). The findings revealed that some students still faced difficulties in connecting quantitative information with the context of Indonesian language texts, particularly in developing logical and structured essay responses. Factors influencing students’ numeracy literacy skills included limited understanding of numerical concepts, low reading interest, teachers’ instructional methods, and the availability of literacy resources at school. This study is expected to contribute to strengthening numeracy literacy in Indonesian language learning, particularly at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The increasing snack consumption trend in Indonesia, along with the availability of processed snacks that are high in sugar, fat, and sodium but low in fiber, poses a significant challenge to digestive health. More than 40% of the global population experiences digestive disorders, often related to unhealthy eating patterns and low fiber intake. In response to this issue, an innovative healthy snack called TaroStik, made from taro vines (Colocasia esculenta) rich in fiber and nutrients, has been developed. This product comes in two forms, sticks and chips, with three flavor variants (salty, sweet, and spicy), offering a healthy snacking experience without sacrificing taste. Training on utilizing taro vines to create TaroStik was conducted in Banjarbaru, involving prospective entrepreneurs with a combined approach of theory, hands-on practice, and group discussions. Participants were trained from material selection, processing (peeling, soaking, steaming, frying), packaging, to social media marketing simulation. As a result, most participants were able to independently produce TaroStik, with some expressing intentions to continue production at a home scale. TaroStik not only provides a digestive health solution through natural snacks free of preservatives but also brings positive impacts in three areas: economy (creating business opportunities based on local ingredients), environment (reducing agricultural waste), and nutrition (increasing healthy food consumption). This innovation embodies the principles of green economy and sustainable entrepreneurship, opening new business opportunities and improving community welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the perception of the teaching profession, self-efficacy of the science subjects, and family environment on the interest of students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) to become (MI) Elementary School teachers. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population consisted of 52 PGMI fifth semester students, with a sample of 34 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that partially the perception of the teaching profession and self-efficacy of the science subjects did not significantly influence the interest in becoming MI teachers. In contrast, the family environment had a positive and significant influence on students' interest in pursuing the MI teaching profession. However, simultaneously the perception of the teaching profession, self-efficacy of the science subjects, and the family environment significantly influenced the interest in becoming MI teachers. These findings indicate that interest in becoming MI teachers is formed through the interaction of psychological, academic, and social factors, with the family environment as the most dominant factor. This study provides important implications for the PGMI study program in designing a more holistic and contextual strategy for developing prospective teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically map the development and intellectual structure of research on HR Digital Evolution in order to address the problem of conceptual fragmentation and the limited holistic understanding of digital evolution in Human Resource Management (HRM). The study employs a science mapping approach based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA method combined with bibliometric analysis. Data were obtained from the Scopus database, comprising 41 indexed articles published between 2008 and 2025 that are relevant to the topic of HR Digital Evolution. The analysis was conducted to identify publication trends, major thematic clusters, knowledge structures, and the evolutionary dynamics of digital HR research. The findings indicate that research on HR Digital Evolution has increased significantly over the past decade, particularly in the post-pandemic period, with a dominant focus on digital technology integration, HR analytics, artificial intelligence, digital competency development, and their linkages to sustainability and human-centered values. The results also reveal the limited explicit use of classical HRM theories, indicating a theoretical gap in contemporary digital HR literature. The implications of this study are both theoretical and practical, strengthening the position of HR Digital Evolution as an interdisciplinary domain that requires the integration of socio-technical and dynamic capability theories, while also providing strategic guidance for academics and practitioners in designing more focused, sustainable, and evidence-based HR digital transformation agendas.

Abstract

This study examines how multicultural education is implemented in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in South Kalimantan to strengthen students’ character. While existing studies often conceptualize multicultural education as a formal curriculum, limited attention has been given to its experiential and embedded practices within pesantren settings. This research adopts a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through semi-structured interviews involving five teachers and santri actively engaged in daily activities. The findings indicate that multicultural education is not delivered as a formal subject but is internalized through daily interactions, collaborative learning, and communal living practices. Continuous exposure to cultural diversity fosters tolerance, empathy, and cooperation among santri. Despite its positive contributions, challenges such as cultural adaptation and communication differences persist. This study highlights that the strength of multicultural education in pesantren lies in its habituation process and social interaction patterns, offering an alternative model of character education rooted in lived experience rather than formal instruction.

Abstract

Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter santri di tengah masyarakat Indonesia yang majemuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana nilai-nilai multikultural diinternalisasikan dalam sistem pendidikan pesantren di Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui analisis berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai multikultural dilakukan melalui integrasi dalam kurikulum, keteladanan kiai, budaya asrama, serta aktivitas sosial santri. Proses ini berlangsung secara formal melalui pembelajaran di kelas dan secara informal melalui interaksi kehidupan sehari-hari di lingkungan pesantren. Nilai-nilai yang dikembangkan meliputi toleransi, solidaritas sosial, kesetaraan, dan moderasi beragama yang diperkuat oleh kearifan lokal budaya Banjar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara nilai Islam dan budaya lokal menjadi pendekatan yang efektif dalam membangun pendidikan multikultural yang kontekstual. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual dalam pengembangan pendidikan multikultural berbasis pesantren di Indonesia.
