Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of teacher skills to strengthen the learning process in elementary schools. The skill of holding variations and providing reinforcement are two important aspects in improving the quality of learning, which can affect students' motivation and learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the application of the skill of holding variations, such as changes in learning methods, media, and resources, is able to create a more interesting and interactive learning atmosphere. In addition, the strengthening skills carried out by teachers, both in the form of positive and negative reinforcement, can increase students' enthusiasm for learning and strengthen their understanding of the material. This study shows that 71.7% of students rated the variation of the teacher's voice style very well, while 84.9% of students rated the variety of learning strategies as also very good. Verbal reinforcement was rated positive by 78.2% of students, and non-verbal reinforcement received a good rating with a percentage between 47.3% to 70.9%. These findings show the importance of teachers continuing to develop variations in teaching and reinforcement techniques to increase student motivation and engagement. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the skill of strengthening teachers in the form of positive and negative values increases students' interest in learning in the learning process at school.

Abstract

Indonesia consists of various tribes spread across several islands, in the midst of this globalization era, westernization is considered one that has faded local cultural values because many western values have been diffused into local values. The progress of a nation is influenced by the quality of education of the nation itself because higher education can produce quality human resources. The education referred to here is not non-formal but formal in nature, covering the teaching and learning process which involves teachers and students. The purpose of this PKM activity is to prepare students to be able to develop cooperative networks in an effort to solve problems to meet the needs of the dynamics of life in society while at the same time educating the nation's life in advancing the welfare of society, especially the people of Alor Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Pancasila education for fourth-grade students, because teachers do not use varied learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Flash Card Media in Learning Pancasila Education "Rights and Obligations at Home and at School" on the Learning Outcomes of Fourth-grade Students of UPTD SD Negeri Pailelang. This study uses a pre-experimental method of quantitative research with a one-group approach (pretest posttest) with a sample size of 21 students. The sampling technique is saturated sampling. In this study, the data collection technique was through tests with a one-group pretest posttest research design. Furthermore, a prerequisite test for normality was carried out at 0.083. After that, a test was carried out with a hypothesis test using the Paired Sample t-test after which the data was analyzed using SPSS 22 and obtained the results of t-test 11,206 and t-table 1,725, meaning t-table > t-table, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. From these results, it can be concluded that using flash cards in Pancasila Education learning on "Rights and Obligations at Home and at School" at the Pailelang Elementary School Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) can improve student learning outcomes.
