Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students' abilities in writing scientific articles through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Based on an initial survey, the main obstacles faced by students are limited time, difficulty in understanding writing structures, and low levels of creativity in developing ideas. To address these issues, training was conducted involving the use of AI-based tools such as Grammarly, QuillBot, and ChatGPT. The activity consisted of an introductory workshop, simulations of AI usage in article writing, group discussions, and intensive mentoring. Evaluation of the program showed a significant increase in students' confidence and productivity in completing scientific articles. The publication of the scientific articles produced by the students serves as a form of appreciation and recognition of their efforts. This activity has proven effective in improving the quality of students' scientific writing and introducing the ethical use of AI technology in academia.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Hiang, Kecamatan Setinjau Laut, menghadapi tantangan keterbatasan visibilitas dan akses pasar akibat minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Rendahnya adopsi teknologi ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran akan potensi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan Google Maps sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan visibilitas usaha. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi tiga tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan yang terdiri dari sosialisasi, pemaparan teori, dan praktik langsung, serta evaluasi melalui tes akhir, umpan balik, dan monitoring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta secara signifikan, di mana lebih dari 90% berhasil dalam tes akhir. Selain itu, terjadi adopsi teknologi yang tinggi dengan 84% peserta berhasil mendaftarkan usahanya di Google Maps pasca-pelatihan. Disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan ini efektif dalam memberdayakan UMKM, memberikan solusi praktis untuk masalah visibilitas, dan menjadi langkah awal yang strategis dalam mengurangi kesenjangan digital di wilayah pedesaan

Abstract

consumption of instant noodles from Korea, namely Samyang noodles, which is a country with a non-Muslim majority population, there are issues circulating regarding the halalness of Samyang noodle products which are considered to contain pork oil. This research aims to examine how the halal label factor influences buyer preferences, especially in the Kerinci area. The author uses quantitative research with a descriptive approach. In the research used as primary data were answers to questionnaires submitted to the people of Kerinci Regency. Meanwhile, secondary data is in the form of library literature, notes or historical reports that have been compiled in archives (documentary data) such as the Purchase Decision for Samyang Noodles in Generation Z, and processed using certain statistical methods. The scope of this research focuses more on variables that influence purchasing decision preferences. on imported food products. The influencing variables are halal labeling, income and product price. The results of this research are that the halal label variable has a significant effect on the decision to choose because the t-count value of ttable or 3.652, 199495 and the resulting significance is 0.001 - 0.05. So this means that the halal label variable has a significant effect on the decision to choose. "The halal label variable has a positive influence on the decision to choose teenagers from Kerinci Regency" is accepted. Meanwhile, the price variable does not have a significant effect on the decision to choose because the value of tcount or 1.718 1.99495 and the resulting significance is 0.90 0.05. So this means that the price variable does not have a significant effect on choosing decisions. "The price variable does not have a positive influence on the decision to choose teenagers from Kerinci Regency" and the percentage of influence between variables X1 and X2 on variable Y is 19.2%

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of religiosity and product knowledge on the decision to boycott the consumption of Milo products in Kerinci Regency and Sungai Banyak City. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who are Aqua consumers in these two areas. The analytical tool used namely using Multiple Linear Regression with the help of the IBM SPSS application. Data processing was carried out using regression analysis to test the relationship between the variables religiosity, product knowledge, and the decision to boycott. The results of the research show that religiosity has a significant influence on the decision to boycott consumption of Aqua products, showing that values Religious values can motivate consumers to boycott certain products. Apart from that, product knowledge also has a significant influence on boycott decisions, indicating that the information consumers have about a product can influence their attitudes towards that product. These findings provide important insights for companies and governments in managing the impact of consumer boycotts of certain products. Increasing understanding of religious values and product knowledge can be an effective strategy in reducing the risk of consumer boycott decisions. This research also contributes to the literature on consumer behavior and boycott decisions in local contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis impact akreditasi, promosi, dan persepsi terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih IAIN Kerinci sebagai tempat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan hasil kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 718 orang mahasiswa yang terdaftar sebagai mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 di IAIN Kerinci. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 266 orang setelah di hitung dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda menggunakan program SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akreditasi program studi, promosi dan persepsi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan memilih IAIN Kerinci sebagai tempat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dan yang persepsi menunjukkan paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan memilih IAIN Kerinci.

Abstract

Despite the growing global demand for Muslim-friendly tourism and Indonesia's strategic role in this sector, many local tourist destinations still lack a systematic assessment of their readiness to offer sharia-compliant experiences. This study addresses this gap by analyzing the sharia tourism potential of the Taman Pertiwi Tourism Area in Pendung Talang Genting Village. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the extent to which the site's products and services align with sharia principles and international criteria such as those set by GMTI and MUI. A qualitative case study method was employed, drawing on primary data from in-depth interviews and direct observations involving site managers, local community members, and visitors, supplemented by secondary data. The main findings reveal that Taman Pertiwi has generated positive socio-economic impacts, including job creation, support for small and micro enterprises, and an environment free from vice, while offering a tranquil nature-based experience consistent with sharia values. However, significant limitations remain: poor accessibility for visitors with special needs, substandard prayer facilities with unclean ablution areas and toilets, and a complete absence of official MUI halal certification for processed local culinary products. The contribution of these findings lies in providing an evidence-based roadmap for infrastructure improvements and formalization of sharia standards, thereby helping transform Taman Pertiwi into a leading sharia-compliant destination and offering a replicable assessment framework for similar sites in other regions.
