Abstract

Abstract

The ability of institutions organizing Distance Learning (PJJ) to conduct Community Service programs (PkM) online is frequently questioned, notably their effectiveness. The paper seeks to demonstrate that e-learning-based community service initiatives including collaboration among distance learning students, conventional students, lecturers, and partners can produce concrete outcomes. E-learning-based entrepreneurship training was delivered to 20 vocational high school students who were involved in extracurricular entrepreneurship activities. The implementation technique is a mixed approach, with distance learning students acting as presenters, normal students serving as on-site mentors, lecturers designing the curriculum, and schoolteachers monitoring student progress. The training results reveal an increase in entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to produce unique ideas that can be implemented in the field. This conclusion underscores the fact that online community service programs, if well-designed and involving a variety of parties, can be successfully executed and have a good impact on student skill development.

Abstract

Inclusive education has a very important role in increasing parental awareness of the importance of higher education and digital entrepreneurship, especially for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This topic was chosen because of the low understanding of some parents who still see education only as a means of getting a job, not as a long-term investment that can improve the quality of life. Therefore, this community service program was implemented at Harapan Sejati Vocational School with the aim of educating parents about the importance of inclusive education and digital skills for their children's future. This program is implemented through various activities, such as interactive seminars, group discussions, and involving parents in digital entrepreneurship projects run by students. In this way, parents can gain insight into how inclusive education can support children's development, as well as how digital and entrepreneurial skills are very relevant in this modern era. Survey results conducted after the program showed that more than 95% of parents gained a new understanding of the value of inclusive education and the importance of digital skills. Apart from that, this program also introduces entrepreneurship as a relevant career alternative in the ever-growing digital world. Overall, this program proves that inclusive education involving parents plays an important role in student development. This also strengthens the role of parents in encouraging digital literacy and an entrepreneurial mindset, creating a young generation that is ready to compete and develop in the global era.

Abstract

Project-based learning has become one of the most favored learning methods in schools and universities. Therefore, it is important to examine how impactful this method is from the perspective of students' learning experiences. Project-based learning involves many students in interactive activities that affect them both individually and in groups. This research is a quantitative study aimed at examining the role of socio-economic factors, entrepreneurship, and student learning motivation on the success of project-based learning in the International Business course, mediated by the variable of self-efficacy. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The population consists of Management students who are taking courses using project-based learning. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 270 student respondents. The tool used was SEM-PLS. The findings of this study reveal three interesting points. First, learning motivation has a positive effect on self-efficacy. Second, self-efficacy influences the success of project-based learning. Third, student learning motivation impacts the success of project-based learning through the mediation of self-efficacy. This means that the higher the learning motivation, the greater its effect on learning outcomes. It is important for lecturers to provide motivational support to students in order to achieve learning objectives.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is often seen as a pathway to youth empowerment and economic growth, yet start-up failure rates remain high despite the strong entrepreneurial enthusiasm of young people, particularly urban university students. This study investigates the determinants of entrepreneurial intention by incorporating entrepreneurship education, nascent entrepreneurial behavior, perceived behavioral control, and commitment, with commitment also tested as a moderator. Using PLS-SEM with 330 urban university students, the findings reveal that entrepreneurship education, perceived behavioral control, and commitment significantly enhance entrepreneurial intention, while entrepreneurship education also promotes nascent entrepreneurial behavior. However, commitment does not moderate the link between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention (H3 not supported), and nascent entrepreneurial behavior does not significantly influence entrepreneurial intention (H4 not supported). These results contribute theoretically by extending the Theory of Planned Behavior to the context of urban start-ups and highlighting the boundary conditions of commitment and nascent behavior. Practically, the study underscores the importance of strengthening entrepreneurship curricula and support systems, while cautioning that exploratory entrepreneurial activities alone may not translate into strong start-up intentions. Beyond theoretical contributions, the findings also offer practical insights for Indonesian universities. Specifically, entrepreneurship education should be integrated with project-based learning, mentoring programs, and funding mechanisms that enable students to transform intentions into sustainable ventures within the urban start-up ecosystem.
