Abstract

Introduction Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a condition where there is a change in the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina. This disorder is characterised by the excessive production of vaginal secretions that are plentiful, grey to yellow in colour, thin, uniform, and have a fishy odour. Additionally, there is an elevation in pH levels. Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is frequently observed in women who are of reproductive age, including those who are pregnant. The objective of this study is to ascertain the prevalence of bacterial vaginosis (BV) during pregnancy at Tamangapa Health Centre. Method this study is an exploratory study that aims to provide a detailed description and analysis of the subject matter. Data were gathered from pregnant women who underwent ANC examination and reported symptoms of vaginal discharge over the period of March-April 2024. These women also expressed their willingness to undergo vaginal swabbing. The vaginal swabs were subjected to gramme staining and evaluated using the Nugent criteria. The results were then displayed in a table showing the frequency distribution. Out of the 35 pregnant women who reported vaginal discharge according to Nugent's criteria, an equal number of pregnant women were diagnosed with BV. Among these individuals, there were cases when vaginal discharge was present along with a diagnosis of BV. Conclusion out of the 35 pregnant women who participated, 13 of them had pathological fluor albus, and 8 of these women also had BV.

Abstract

Infertility is a significant global health concern, yet the role of cervicitis as an independent risk factor remains inadequately explored. While previous studies have investigated various causes of infertility, limited research has specifically examined the combined effect of cervicitis and sperm abnormalities on reproductive outcomes. This study aims to determine the impact of cervicitis on infertility and assess its association with sperm abnormalities among married couples seeking conception. A cross-sectional study was conducted at the Wirahusada Medical Center Clinic, Makassar, Indonesia, involving 94 married couples undergoing routine fertility assessments. Cervicitis was diagnosed through endoscopic examination, while sperm abnormalities—including oligospermia, poor motility, and abnormal morphology—were identified via semen analysis following WHO 2021 standards. The odds ratio (OR) and Chi-Square test were used to analyze the relationship between cervicitis, sperm abnormalities, and infertility. Women with cervicitis had a lower pregnancy rate (25% vs. 75%), with an infertility risk 7.186 times higher (OR = 7.186). Men with sperm abnormalities also had a higher infertility risk (OR = 4.234). The highest risk (OR = 9.060) was in couples where both partners had these conditions. This study highlights the significant impact of cervicitis on female infertility, particularly when accompanied by sperm abnormalities. These findings underscore the need for integrated reproductive health strategies, including early screening and targeted interventions, to enhance pregnancy success rates among couples facing infertility.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah kehamilan yang banyak terjadi yaitu abortus, dari 46 juta kelahiran pertahun didapatkan 20 juta kasus karena abortus. Abortus menyumbang angka sebesar 5% dari komplikasi kehamilan yang menyebabkan kematian ibu. Metode : menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan desain penelitian case control. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 61, sampel kasus sebanyak 60 karena memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sedangkan kasus kontrol diambil perbandingan 1:1 dengan jumlah sampel kasus sehingga sampel kontrol diambil sebanyak 60. Analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Person Chi-square. Hasil : uji hipotesis metode Chi-square didapatkan nilai signifikansi (p) usia ibu sebesar 0.075, paritas 0.713, dan anemia 0.274. Hasil ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan berrmakna antara usia ibu, paritas dan anemia dengan kejadian abortus. Sedangkan hasil nilai signifikansi (p) riwayat abortus 0.009 dan pekerjaan 0.043. Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara riwayat abortus dan pekerjaan dengan kejadian abortus. Kesimpulan : terdapat hubungan bermakna antara riwayat abortus sebelumnya dan pekerjaan dengan kejadian abortus pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Kota Baubau Tahun 2019. Sedangkan usia ibu, paritas dan anemia tidak memiliki hubungan bermakna dengan kejadian abortus pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Kota Baubau Tahun 2019.

Abstract

WHO melaporkan berat bayi <2500 gram berkontribusi sebanyak 60-80% dari seluruh kematian neonatus. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi ibu hamil berdasarkan LILA dengan kejadian BBLR di Kabupaten Maros Periode Januari-Desember tahun 2019. Metode: Metode penelitian ini yaitu observasional analitik dimana peneliti hanya melakukan observasi terhadap objek yang diteliti tanpa melakukan perlakuan dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh ibu yang melahirkan di Kabupaten Maros dengan melahirkan bayi BBLR yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan jumlah sampel 200 sampel. Sampel yang didapat dari data sekunder dan kemudian dianalisa melalui uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan sebesar 5% (α=0,05) dan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil: Diperoleh nilai p-value 0,000 (P<0,05) dan analisis data uji korelasi Pearson diperoleh Nilai r Hitung 0.265 lebih besar dari r table 0.138 untuk N = 200, dan Nilai signifikansi p-value <0.005 (0.408), yang berarti terdapat hubungan status gizi (LILA) dengan kejadian BBLR di Kabupaten Maros periode Januari-Desember tahun 2019. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi ibu berdasarkan (LILA) dengan kejadian BBLR di Kabupaten Maros periode Januari-Desember tahun 2019.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the compensation that has been carried out by CV Boga Jaya (Amanda Brownies) Banjarbaru in increasing employee morale and to find out the compensation that CV Boga Jaya (Amanda Brownies) Banjarbaru should always do in increasing employee morale. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. This method was chosen considering that this study aims to make an overview of compensation in improving employee morale at CV Boga Jaya (Amanda Brownies) Banjarbaru. The results of the study found that employee morale is still low, this can be seen from the results of the questionnaire answers. Based on these results, it is known that compensation has not been given appropriately, such as compensation is still inadequate which results in a decrease in employee morale, the workload felt by employees is still quite high and conflicts due to compensation that is considered still unfair and decent.

Abstract

Airway remodeling is a major challenge in the management of uncontrolled allergic asthma, despite standard therapy with a combination of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and long-acting bronchodilators (LABA). Increased levels of Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) are thought to play a role in this process, and the 4G/5G polymorphism in the PAI-1 gene is one of the genetic factors that affect it. This study aimed to analyze the association between the 4G/5G PAI-1 genetic polymorphism and uncontrolled allergic asthma. A case-control study was conducted at Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital between January-March 2024 on 40 patients with allergic asthma and 40 non-asthmatic subjects. Diagnosis was made through prik test (+), bronchodilator test (+), and asthma control classification according to GINA criteria. All asthmatic patients received Budesonide-Formoterol therapy for 4 weeks. PAI-1 levels were measured and 4G/5G polymorphism was analyzed by RT-PCR. Results showed that PAI-1 levels were significantly higher in uncontrolled asthma patients and in individuals with the 4G/4G genotype compared to non-4G/4G (2.38 ± 0.770 vs 1.65 ± 0.714; p=0.001). The 4G/4G genotype was more common in uncontrolled asthma (OR: 5.8) and was associated with the risk of severe obstruction (OR: 11.6). Thus, it was concluded that the 4G/4G genotype in the PAI-1 gene is associated with increased PAI-1 levels, risk of uncontrolled allergic asthma, and more severe degree of airway obstruction. The implication of the results shows that genetic testing of PAI-1 has the potential to be a predictive biomarker in personalized asthma therapy strategies. This approach can help clinicians identify high-risk patients and tailor interventions early and effectively to prevent remodeling and reduce long-term morbidity.

Abstract

Permasalahan wanprestasi dalam perjanjian kredit dengan jaminan fidusia menimbulkan sengketa hukum yang merugikan pihak kreditur. Hal ini terjadi ketika debitur lalai memenuhi kewajiban pembayaran sebagaimana disepakati dalam perjanjian kredit. Fokus utama kajian adalah perkara yang terdapat pada Putusan Nomor 850/Pdt.G/2020/PN Mdn. Tujuan penulisan ini yaitu untuk menganalisis secara yuridis permasalahan wanprestasi dalam perjanjian kredit dengan jaminan fidusia serta menganalisis pertanggung jawaban hukum yang timbul. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research). Sumber bahan hukum terdiri dari hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan debitur dalam putusan tersebut terbukti melakukan wanprestasi dengan hanya membayar 10 dari 48 kali angsuran, sehingga menyebabkan kerugian pada pihak kreditur. Majelis Hakim menyatakan perbuatan tergugat memenuhi unsur wanprestasi sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 1238 KUH Perdata. Kreditur berhak melakukan eksekusi terhadap objek jaminan fidusia berdasarkan sertifikat fidusia yang memiliki kekuatan eksekutorial. Dalam kasus ini, debitur telah diingatkan melalui somasi namun tetap tidak memenuhi kewajiban pembayaran. Disarankan agar pihak dalam perjanjian kredit dengan jaminan fidusia lebih memperhatikan kepatuhan isi perjanjian dan mendaftarkan jaminan fidusia secara sah untuk memperoleh perlindungan hukum maksimal. Di sisi lain, pemerintah perlu lebih aktif dalam memberikan sosialisasi hak dan kewajiban dalam perjanjian fidusia guna mengurangi sengketa serupa.

Abstract

Introduction: Flour albus, or vaginal discharge, affects reproductive health globally, including in Indonesia. It may be physiological or pathological, indicating an infection or another health issue. Pregnancy hormones increase the risk of flour albus; therefore, vaginal hygiene is crucial. However, many pregnant women lack information on hygiene, increasing their risk of pathological disorders. This study investigates the association between vaginal hygiene and flour albus in pregnant women undergoing ANC at Tamangapa Health Centre, a topic that has been rarely studied. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional design using a quantitative approach. A total of 52 pregnant women in their second and third trimesters were recruited through incidental sampling during ANC visits. Ethical approval and informed consent were obtained prior to data collection. Data were gathered through questionnaires and vaginal discharge examinations. Analyses included univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods, with the Mann-Whitney Test used for statistical significance. Results: The findings revealed that 37 respondents experienced physiological fluor albus despite adhering to appropriate vaginal hygiene practices. Statistical analysis showed a significant correlation between vaginal hygiene and the type of fluor albus, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.005). Conclusion: The study stresses the need for vaginal hygiene in pregnant women to prevent pathological leukorrhea. Vaginal care education reduces complaints and improves reproductive health. This research has major implications for public health policy, particularly in prenatal care, to raise awareness and improve hygiene. It can also help build community-based preventive programs and integrate vaginal hygiene education into antenatal care to lower reproductive health risks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work training, compensation and organizational climate partially and simultaneously on the employee job satisfaction in the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Belawan. The study was conducted at the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Belawan Jalan KL Yos Sudarso Km 8,2 Nomor 27 Medan, with a population of 98 people, and a study sample. of 96 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using the IMB Statistics computer program for Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 24. Based on the analysis results obtained work training have a positive and significant effect on the employee job satisfaction of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Belawan, this is supported by the results of t count analysis > t-table (5,483 > 2,011) at n = 96 at 95% significance level. Compensation has a not effect on the employee job satisfaction of the Primary Tax Service Office of Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count > t-table (3,007 > 2,011) at n = 96 at 95% significance level. Organizational climate has a not effect on the employee job satisfaction of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Belawan, this is supported by an analysis of t count <-table (0,096 < 2,011) at n = 96 with a significant level of 95%.Value of F-count> F table (18,716 > 2,70) This states that together (multiple) there are positive and significant effects of work training, compensation and organizational climate on the employee job satisfaction of employees of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Belawan. Thus the hypothesis proposed is accepted by the truth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) work motivation on job satisfaction (2) work motivation on performance (3) job satisfaction on employee performance. This research is quantitative using primary data, the population in this study are all employees of PT Bank Mega Syariah Indonesia Tbk Banjarmasin Branch. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling, which amounted to 30 respondents. The data collection method is carried out through a questionnaire distributed to employees of PT Bank Mega Syariah Tbk in 2023. The data obtained is then processed using the SPSS tool version 20. This analysis includes reliability test, validity test, statistical test through normality test, Ttest test and determinant coefficient (R2), and path analysis test. the results of research on work motivation affect job satisfaction, work motivation affects employee performance. Job satisfaction affects employee performance.
