Abstract

Abstract: Student worksheets become a tool to be able to develop student abilities,including in terms of English and analyzing environmental problems. One thingthat can be developed is learning based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)and the project based learning (PjBL) model. The purpose of this research is todevelop student worksheets based on HOTS and PjBL abilities. The method usedwas the research and development method. The results of this research indicate thatstudent worksheets based on HOTS and PjBL in English and environmentaleducation lectures have a very valid category so they are suitable for use in learning.The worksheets developed are in English and contain the topic of environmentaleducation. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that studentworksheets can be used for learning.Keywords: Student worksheets, HOTS, PjBLAbstrak: Lembar kerja mahasiswa menjadi sebuah perangkat untuk bisamengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa, termasuk dalam hal berbahasa inggrisdan menganalisis masalah lingkungan hidup. Salah satu yang bisa dikembangkanadalah dengan pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) danmodel project based learning (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmengembangkan lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis pada kemampuan HOTS danPjBL. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan metode penelitian danpengembangan (Research and development). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanbahwa lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis HOTS dan PjBL pada perkuliahan Bahasainggris dan Pendidikan lingkungan hidup memiliki kategori sangat valid sehinggalayak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Lembar kerja yang dikembangkan berbahasainggris dan terkandung topik Pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa lembar kerja mahasiswa bisa digunakanuntuk pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Lembar kerja mahasiswa, HOTS, PjBL

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan materi lingkungan hidup yang masih belum tersosialisasi kepada Masyarakat, khususnya terkait dengan go-green. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melakukan pemberdayaan pengetahuan siswa tentang go-green kepada siswa SMK. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah menggunakan metode seminar secara daring yang dilakukan kepada siswa SMKN 1 Jakarta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa  kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan tanpa kendala koneksi internet. Terjadi peningkatan skor pengetahuan siswa SMK dari pre-test (25.93) mengalami peningkatan skor saat post-test (50.93). Upaya pelestarian lingkungan hidup melalui kegiatan di SMK bisa dilakukan dengan seminar seperti kegiatan ini. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pemberdayaan pengetahuan siswa dengan cara seminar secara daring dianggap cukup efektif

Abstract

Speaking skill is very crucial for every human being in order to be able to communicate and deliver his or her thoughts among themselves. However, many people around the world speak in vary languages; it depends on their origin. Consequently, many or most of them do not master or able to speak in those languages. So that, people around the world agreed to use some languages as international languages. These languages used as a medium of communication by people whose native languages are different or not mutually intelligible; people are used to say those languages as Lingua Francas. There are some languages that included in Lingua Francas i..e, English. This research is aimed to investigate and explore the use of VOKI to support the enhancement of first grade students’ speaking skills at SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan, Bekasi. The method used in this research is qualitative approach, and it applied Research and Development technique. In this case, the writer collected the data by using observation, structural interview, questionnaire and documentation. The interview was done for the students of first grade students’ speaking skills at SMPN 4 Tambun Selatan, Bekasi. Based on the result of the research, it was found that there were several factors which influence students’ inabilities to speak in English properly, they were students’ speaking ability was low or poor, time limitation, uncomfortable feeling in learning English, lack of motivation, lack of exposures, insufficient materials, and did not know how to start speaking, and lack of feedback. In addition, it was also found that Voki had some features that could be used to solve those problems of the research, the problems of students in speaking English properly. This research can be concluded that the use of Voki as a media to enhance students’ speaking skills to promote the extensive learning at SLTPN 4 Tambun Selatan is useful. It is proven by several problems that hinder the teaching learning process are solved.

Abstract

This study used quantitative research through mind mapping methods for grade IV elementary school in Pondok Kopi 03 East Jakarta in order to find out whether there was an effect of the use of mind mapping methods on the learning outcomes of natural science at grade IV elementary school in Pondok Kopi 03 East Jakarta. The purpose of this research was to analyze The Influence of the Mind Mapping Method on the Learning Outcomes of the Natural Science about energy. This research was conducted at the Public Elementary School on Pondok Kopi in West Jakarta. The sample of the research was students at grade IV in the Second semester of elementary school, 2017/2018. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technic. The data was collected by giving multiple choice test, then calculated normality data using liliefors and homogeneity class using barlet. Normality and homogeneity test results indicate that the data is normal and both classes was homogeneous. Subsequently analysed by t test. The results were the value of t count 2,31. Value t table on significance level α = 0.05 and dk = 29 is 1,70. Therefore t count value greater than the t table (2,31 > 1,70), the null hypothesis is rejected and accepted working hypothesis. That mean, mind mapping method significantly influence the achievements force on grade IV elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Number Heads Together) pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hasil Belajar Matematika siswa perlu untuk ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terkait dengan berbagai materi di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDS Islam Al Fathiyah Jakarta Timur, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif untuk membandingkan hasil pra siklus, hasil siklus 1, dan siklus 2. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDS Islam Al Fathiyah pada mata pelajaran matematika khususnya pada topik bangun ruang kubus dan balok melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Number Heads Together).

Abstract

This study focuses on improving student engagement and understanding in Natural Science (IPA) for third graders at SD Negeri Jatiwarna 4, Pondok Melati, Bekasi City. Utilizing classroom action research over two cycles with 32 students, the findings reveal that the flipped classroom method, combined with group assignments and peer teacher involvement, significantly enhances student interest and engagement. There is a marked increase in learning completion rates from the first to the second cycle, demonstrating the effectiveness of these innovative teaching strategies. The results highlight the need for creative teaching approaches to enhance learning outcomes in elementary science education. The practical implications of this study suggest that educators should adopt flipped classroom models to promote active learning, allowing students to engage with content at their own pace before class discussions. Additionally, schools can benefit from encouraging peer teaching initiatives, where students learn from each other, fostering collaboration and enhancing their understanding of complex concepts. Group assignments can further enhance teamwork skills and increase student motivation, as students feel more accountable to their peers.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti di SDS Kemala Bhayangkari 5 Jakarta Timur, peneliti melakukan observasi pada siswa kelas V dan mendapati beberapa siswa kurang tertarik pada mata pelajaran IPA terutama pada materi mengenal organ pencernaan manusia dikarenakan media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru tidak sesuai dan hanya berfokus pada penggunaan media buku teks saja, sehingga siswa tidak mampu memahami materi secara keseluruhan dan cepat merasa bosan saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Mengatasi masalah tersebut maka dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang sesuai yaitu dengan mengunakan media poster. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang adanya pengaruh penggunaan media poster terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi mengenal organ pencernaan manusia pada siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, desain nonequivalent control group design pre-test dan post-test, dengan responden 42 siswa. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-T, Perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test didapatkan hasil nilai t hitung = 3,89 > t tabel = 1,72. Hasil dari perhitungan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan diterima, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa kelas yang menggunakan media poster mempunyai nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas yang menggunakan media buku teks. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media poster berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V di SDS Kemala Bhayangkari 5 Jakarta Timur.

Abstract

Ecopedagogy education related to green campuses requires further innovation related to learning media. This study aims to develop a book on ecopedagogy education in a green campus based on environmental issues. The method of research and development in this study’s is based on the ADDIE approach with five stages. The first stage of this research is conduct an initial data analysis, which will be the basis for developing the Ecopedagogy. The second stage is design the educational media. The third stage is the development process and validation of media experts. The fourth stage is the implementation, and the last stage of developing this book media is to conduct an evaluation given by students; the form of an assessment of the book. This study’s results indicate that the ecopedagogy education media series on environmental issues on a green campus is categorized as very valid. Hence, it is suitable for use in learning activities. The results of this study indicate that the media series of ecopedagogy education can improve student learning outcomes based on the results of the pre-test and post-test. The development of learning media is essential to train students' skills in critical thinking. Suggestions for future research include implementing media on a broader scale.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the independent learning curriculum, the problems of teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum and how teachers overcome the problems of implementing the independent learning curriculum at SD Tirtamarta- BPK Penabur. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were the School, teachers and students of SD Tirtamarta- BPK Penabur. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were power reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of the independent curriculum had been implemented at SD Tirtamarta- BPK Penabur with project-based learning activities, diagnostic, formative and summative assessments and subject-based learning, science, report cards, ATP and teaching modules worked on in groups. The problems experienced by teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum in planning, implementing and assessing learning were the difficulty of analyzing CP, formulating TP and compiling ATP and teaching modules, determining learning methods and strategies and lack of time allocation for project-based learning.

Abstract

Upaya yang dilakukan untuk menekan angka penggangguran yaitu dengan memberikan Motivasi serta membuka peluang usaha untuk menghasilkan sebuah karya kreatif, inovatif merupakan bekal bagi mahasiswa yang akan berwirausaha sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi cikal bakal kemunculan produk usaha sebagai karya mandiri bangsa. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar siswa-siswi kelas XII SMA Trisoko mampu membuat dan menjual furnitur bertema industrial sebagai usaha atau menjadi penghasilan tambahan; Hasil wawancara dengan bagian kemahasiswaan SMA trisoko Kramat jati, Kota Jakarta Timur menyatakan bahwa siswa/siswinya belum memiliki pengetahuan tentang bahan dan pembuatan dalam furnitur bergaya industrial, dan juga belum mengetahui tentang bagaimana menjual barang secara online. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara tersebut didapatkan beberapa tawaran solusi permasalahan diantaranya: 1) memberikan pelatihan pembuatan furnitur bergaya industrial, dan 2) memberikan pelatihan penjualan secara online. Pelatihan dalam kegiatan ini diberikan selama 1 bulan (Oktober), sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan, 1 kali seminggu dengan alokasi waktu 120 menit/pertemuan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan yang disesuaikan dengan materi pelatihannya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini terlihat para peserta mampu membuat rak dan lampu bertema industrial. Rekomendasi pada kegiatan ini bahwa kegiatan ini dapat terus ditingkatkan sehingga kemampuan siswa/siswi dapat maksimal dan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi pengembangan sebuah produk serta diharapkan pelatihan yang serupa dapat dilakukan pada mitra lainnya. The Training of Creating Industrial-Style Furniture at Trisoko Senior High School-Kramatjati One mean that can be done to reduce the unemployment rate is to motivate and to give an opportunity to run a business in producing creative and innovative products, so that the products will be the provision for students to start business as an independent work of the nation. Moreover, the objective of this training is students of twelfth grade of Trisoko High School will be able to make and to sell industrial-style furniture as a business or as an additional income; the result of interview from the students of Trisoko High School shows that they have no knowledge of how to build the industrial-style furniture and its material, nor did they know how to sell goods online. The solutions to the problems that the trainers offer are 1) providing training on how to build industrial-style furniture, and 2) providing online sales training. The expected output of this Community Service Program is scientific article that will be published through National Journals accredited with ISSN. The training in this activity is given for 1 month (October), 3 meetings, once a week with an allocation of 120 minutes/meeting. The implementation of this training activity is divided into three stages according to the training material. The result of this training shows that the participants are able to bulid industrial-style shelves and lamps. Furthermore, the recommendations of this activity are that this activity can be continuously improved so that the ability of students can be maximized and can increase creativity and innovation in product development; also it is hoped that similar training can be carried out on other partners
