Abstract

Speech delay in children is a developmental issue commonly encountered in society, which can affect various aspects of a child's life, including communication, social interaction, and academic development. Early detection of speech delay is crucial for providing appropriate interventions to minimize its long-term impact on the child. This study aims to introduce the use of machine learning algorithms in detecting speech delay symptoms in children. Three machine learning algorithms applied in this study are Naïve Bayes, C4.5, and K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN). These algorithms are used to classify speech delay symptoms based on health data, medical history, and environmental factors such as speaking habits and eating patterns. The outreach was conducted at Puskesmas Kota Rantauprapat with the involvement of parents and healthcare providers as participants. The experimental results showed that all three algorithms performed well in terms of accuracy, though with varying error rates. Naïve Bayes achieved relatively high accuracy but had a higher false positive rate compared to C4.5 and K-NN. C4.5 provided more stable results and was easier to interpret due to its decision tree structure. Meanwhile, K-NN performed better with data that had irregular distribution. This outreach is expected to assist both the community and healthcare providers in early detection of speech delay in children, providing a more efficient and affordable means for early intervention, which ultimately leads to better outcomes for children with speech delay.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key driver in the changing landscape of the global financial industry, including Islamic banking. With the advancement of information technology, financial institutions strive to improve operational efficiency and provide better services to customers. This transformation includes not only the adoption of new technologies, but also changes in organizational culture and ways of interacting with customers.In this study using qualitative data types. The data source taken in this research is secondary data, where the data is obtained from literature both in the form of journals and reference books by studying, understanding, and examining things related to topics relevant to information systems can be understood as components that are integrated and interconnected in achieving certain goals, while information technology functions as a tool for producing, processing, and disseminating information to support company operations. In Islamic banking, information systems and technology play an important role in improving operational efficiency, service innovation, and compliance with sharia principles.

Abstract

The lack of waste management in the community of Kampung Benar Dusun VI Village, Kota Pari, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency is due to the limited knowledge and understanding of waste management in general. People still think that waste management is not important because people think that their waste will decompose by itself without thinking that this will have a huge impact if the waste continues to be left unmanaged. One way to support this waste management program is through a waste bank. A waste bank is a place that is used to make it easier for the public to sort waste, then the sorted waste will be deposited at a factory that makes crafts from waste or at a waste collection point. The aim of this research is to determine community knowledge regarding waste management, analyze existing waste management in the community and find out what strategies are effective for waste management. The method used by researchers is an integrated counseling method and systematic training. Data was collected by observing in the field and conducting in-depth interviews with informants. The results of the research show that after providing outreach to the community that waste management is important, the community also understands better about good waste management and knows effective waste management strategies to implement using the 3R system.

Abstract

Otomasi perpustakaan menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi layanan dan aksesibilitas diera digital. Di perpustakaan STAI Al-Azhar Gowa,dilakukannya penerapan SLiMS karena sebagai Solusi atas tantangan dalam pengelolaan koleksi dan layanan manual yang kurang efisien. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan perpustakaan melalui sistem berbasis teknologi yaitu modern dan pengabdian Masyarakat dalam kegiatan ini pustakawan dan staf perpustakaan STAI Al-Azhar Gowa. Adapun metode yang digunakan antara lain pelatihan calon pustakawan dalam pengoperasian SLiMS, migrasi koleksi data menggunakan excel,pembuatan barcode dan label buku serta penerapan sistem OPAC yakni untuk meningkatkan akses pengguna. Kemudian hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kecepatan layanan sirkulasi,akurasi penacatn koleksi dan juga kemudahan pemustaka dalam mencari informasi melalui opac. Hasil implementasi SLiMS di perpustakaan STAI Al-Azhar Gowa menegaskan bahwa teknologi sangat penting untuk modernisasi layanan perpustakaan dan program ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak yang positif pada pengelolaan koleksi dan layanan sirkulasi tetapi juga meningkatkan keterampilan teknis pustakawan dan menunjukkan bahwa SLiMS dapat dijadikan solusi yang berkelanjutan untuk mengoptimalkan peran perpustakaan di era digital.

Abstract

Data security is a critical aspect in the digital era due to the increasing exchange of sensitive information through electronic media. One widely used approach to protect data confidentiality is cryptography, particularly asymmetric encryption algorithms. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA) algorithm as a data security mechanism through an encryption and decryption process. The research method used is an experimental approach by implementing the RSA algorithm in a text-based data security simulation. The stages include key generation, encryption, and decryption processes, followed by analysis of the correctness and effectiveness of the algorithm in maintaining data confidentiality. The results show that the RSA algorithm is capable of converting plaintext into unreadable ciphertext and successfully restoring it to its original form through the decryption process using the correct private key. This confirms that RSA provides a high level of security based on the difficulty of factoring large prime numbers. The implication of this study is that the RSA algorithm can be effectively applied to secure sensitive data transmission in information systems, especially in environments requiring strong authentication and confidentiality.

Abstract

This study examines the role of KKN students in supporting the economic development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through bazaar activities in Selayang Village. The bazaar programs facilitated by KKN students proved effective in improving product marketing, expanding business networks, increasing public awareness of local products, and ultimately raising the income of MSME actors. In addition to their economic impact, the bazaars functioned as promotional platforms and spaces for social interaction that strengthened relationships between community members and local entrepreneurs. Despite facing internal challenges such as limited funding, inadequate human resources, and a lack of product innovation, the initiative demonstrated positive outcomes. Collaboration among KKN students, local government, and the community is considered essential to ensure the sustainability of such empowerment programs. Overall, the findings indicate that bazaar activities represent an effective strategy for rural economic empowerment, contributing to the long-term competitiveness and growth of MSMEs while fostering community participation and local economic resilience.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran gender serta memperkuat peran puan (perempuan) dalam upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi edukatif yang ditujukan kepada siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Sosialisasi dilakukan secara interaktif melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, tanya jawab, serta penyampaian slogan kampanye kesadaran gender. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan kesadaran gender, bentuk-bentuk kekerasan seksual, pentingnya menjaga batasan tubuh, serta upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya indikasi peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai jenis-jenis kekerasan seksual serta pentingnya menjaga sikap saling menghormati. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan respons positif yang tercermin dari meningkatnya keberanian dalam menyampaikan pendapat serta tumbuhnya kesadaran akan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan bebas dari kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh urgensi tingginya kerentanan remaja terhadap bahaya penyalahgunaan NAPZA di Kabupaten Kediri, khususnya di Kecamatan Wates, yang didukung oleh data kriminalitas setempat yang menunjukkan peningkatan kasus pada kelompok usia pelajar. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, membentuk sikap kritis, serta melatih keterampilan praktis siswa SMPN 1 Wates dalam mencegah dan menolak penyalahgunaan NAPZA. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan interaktif dan partisipatif, yang terdiri dari empat komponen utama: (1) ceramah disertai diskusi, (2) simulasi keterampilan menolak (refusal skills), (3) diskusi kelompok terpumpun, dan (4) pembuatan komitmen bersama. Kegiatan ini menyasar 40 siswa kelas VII-IX SMPN 1 Wates dan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Agustus 2025 di aula sekolah. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat signifikan, dimana nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 46,25 meningkat drastis menjadi 99,75 pada postes, yang menunjukkan efektivitas metode yang diterapkan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pendekatan edukasi yang interaktif, praktis, dan melibatkan partisipasi aktif peserta terbukti mampu menanamkan pemahaman mendalam serta membangun kepercayaan diri dan komitmen peserta untuk menjauhi NAPZA. Untuk menjaga keberlanjutan, direkomendasikan integrasi materi pencegahan NAPZA ke dalam kurikulum sekolah, pembentukan dan pelatihan kader peer educator, serta kolaborasi strategis dengan orang tua dan instansi terkait seperti BNN dan Puskesmas.

Abstract

The spread of hoax news in digital media is a serious problem because it can affect public opinion and social stability. This study aims to classify hoax news using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The dataset used is a hoax clarification dataset from the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) of the Republic of Indonesia, totaling 1,872 data. The research process includes data collection, text pre-processing, feature extraction using TF-IDF, and classification using the SVM algorithm. Implementation was carried out using Google Colaboratory (Google Colab). Test results show that the SVM algorithm is able to provide good performance in classifying hoax news based on its topic with satisfactory accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score values.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious disease that is transmitted through the air, namely through droplets when sufferers cough, sneeze or talk. The aim of this community service activity is to empower health cadres in preventing and treating Tuberculosis in Sukorambi Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency in 2024. Activity methods; Empowerment of health cadres in the form of health education and demonstrations carried out by Jember District Health Service which was attended by 20 cadres. Analysis of successful implementation looks at increased knowledge. The results of the training found tha there was an increase in knowledge before and after the training. The implementation of this community service really helps increase knowledge about the prevention and treatment of Tuberculosis infection in the Sukorambi Village are.
