Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to enhance technology management literacy among small business owners of second-hand computer PC spare parts through training and mentoring in the use of the Shopee marketplace. Shopee was chosen as the digital marketing platform because it is one of the largest and most widely accessed marketplaces in Indonesia. Many micro-entrepreneurs still lack comprehensive knowledge of digital strategies, including online store management, product display, and promotional features on Shopee. Therefore, this program is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills to fully utilize Shopee. The implementation method includes needs identification, digital literacy training, hands-on workshops, and intensive mentoring. Evaluation is conducted to measure the participants’ competence in independently managing a marketplace-based business in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anggota kelompok Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) dari Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kelurahan Simpang Rimbo, Kecamatan Alam Barajo, Kota Jambi mengenai pembukuan kas sederhana, sehingga dapat mendukung peningkatan kemampuan membuat pembukuan kas sederhana. Di wilayah Kelurahan Simpang Rimbo, terdapat banyak UMKM yang bergerak di bidang kuliner. Sayangnya, para pelaku UMKM tersebut masih kurang memperhatikan pengelolaan keuangan yang baik. Padahal, laporan keuangan merupakan elemen penting yang harus disusun dengan baik oleh setiap pelaku usaha. Dalam pengelolaan UMKM, pembukuan sangat diperlukan untuk memantau kondisi keuangan selama menjalankan usaha. Selain itu, pembukuan juga berfungsi sebagai acuan dalam menyusun strategi bisnis ke depan. Melihat pentingnya pembukuan, dosen dan mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Jambi mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan terkait pembukuan sederhana bagi sejumlah pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Simpang Rimbo. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di wilayah tersebut, memberikan pelatihan pembukuan sederhana, serta mempermudah pelaku UMKM dalam mengelola laporan keuangan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of financial performance on stock prices in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 – 2023. This study uses financial performance as an independent variable with indicators of Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Cash Ratio (CashR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Fixed Asset Turn Over (FATO), Inventory Turn Over (ITO), Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Return On Equity (ROE). Stock price as a variable is tied to the stock price indicator (HS). Data and facts obtained from the issuer's financial statements, stock prices and financial performance have considerable and significant differences in the study period. The analysis tool uses the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 software program. The results showed that financial performance variables with FATO and TATO indicators affect stock price variables, while other financial performance indicators, namely CR, CashR, DAR, DER, GPM, ITO, GPM, ITO, NPM, QR and ROE are not able to construct financial performance variables.

Abstract

The museum is a place to store historical objects, the objects in the museum are historical heritage objects that should be preserved, so that the Indonesian state does not forget the services of the heroes who defended their homeland. The aim of establishing a museum is so that citizens do not forget the history of their nation. Halal tourism itself is expected to be an alternative for Muslim and non-Muslim tourists to travel and fulfill their spiritual needs. This research is field research carried out at the Siginjei Jambi Museum because it is about halal tourism. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach because the data produced is in the form of descriptions. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, documentation and literature. The research results of the Siginjei Museum include halal tourism, looking at the facilities it has, such as a prayer room, a toilet, a comfortable place and providing value about the history of the Jambi people's struggle against colonialism and as a goal for school children to learn about the history of Jambi and broaden their knowledge. In terms of service, the Siginjei Museum has done its best, such as preparing a guide to tour the museum and explain the history of each object in the museum.

Abstract

Pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) adalah salah satu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan pada pemilik usaha Jamu Gendong “Mbak Eka”. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan serta kemampuan pelaku UMKM khususnya Jamu Mbak Eka dalam hal penyusunan laporan keuangan tidak hanya dapat dilakukan secara manual namun juga dapat melakukan penyusunan berbasis online yaitu dengan menggunakan aplikasi Qasir yang akan sangat berguna untuk pengembangan usaha yang dijalankan saat ini. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Hari Jumat tanggal 05 Juli 2024 di tempat usaha jamu gendong yang beralamat di kelurahan RT 23 Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang, Kecamatan Jambi Timur, Kota Jambi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan cara presentasi, diskusi dan juga praktek tentang cara yang efektif dalam menyusun laporan keuangan yang dapat diterapkan dalam usaha jamu ini. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pada pelatihan ini dapat terselenggara dengan sangat baik dimana peserta aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the influence of competency aspects and leadership style on motivation and its impact on employee performance. This research uses descriptive and verification analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the characteristics of respondents and research variables without testing. Verifiability analysis is used to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This research uses all employees at the Jambi Province Transportation Service. Apart from that, the data used in this research is primary data obtained from the results of the questionnaire given and filled in by each employee. The data analysis technique used is path analysis, with the help of the SPSS version 22.0 software program. The results of the research show that competency and leadership style through motivation simultaneously and partially have a positive effect on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees and there is a direct and indirect influence of competence and leadership style through motivation on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees. So it can be concluded that the competency, leadership style, motivation and performance of employees at the Jambi Province Transportation Service are still relatively good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah sharing pengetahuan dapat menjadi mediator dalam hubungan antara dukungan organisasi dan kepuasan kerja. Dengan menggunakan analisis regresi ditemukan bahwa dukungan organisasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja secara signifikan. Ditemukan juga bahwa dukungan organisasi berpengaruh secara tidak langsung melalui sharing pengetahuan terhadap kepuasan kerja secara signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ysharing pengetahuan dapat menjadi mediator dalam hubungan dukungan organisasi dengan kepuasan kerja. Oleh sebab itu disarankan agar pengelola perguruan tinggi meningkatkan motiuvasi karyawan untuk melakukan sharing pengatahuan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan inovasi dengan kinerja pemasaran UMKM dan apakah kepemimpinan transformasional memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Untuk tujuan ini telah dikumpulkan data melalui penyebaran angket kepada 120 orang responden yang terdiri dari pemimpin industri batik Jambi. Data yang sudah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan metode regresi sederhana dan moderated regression analysis (MRA) dengan bantuan SPSS versi 24. Ditemukan bahwa inovasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran dan kepemimpinan transformasional memoderasi hubungan inovasi dengan kinerja pemasaran. Dengan kata lain, kepemimpinan transformasional memperkuat hubungan inovasi dengan kinerja pemasaran. Oleh sebab itu dianjurkan agar para pelaku dan pemimpin UMKM melakukan investasi dalam kegiatan inovasi produk, inovasi proses, inovasi pemasaran, dan inovasi organisasi dengan pemimpin yang berkarakter transformasional

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential of the Jambi Batik Industry as a source of improving community welfare. This study employed a literature review method through analysis of various relevant written sources, such as books, scientific articles, government reports, and other official documents. The results indicate that the Jambi Batik Industry has significant economic potential to improve community welfare, through job creation, increased income, and strengthening creative economic businesses based on local culture. However, this industry faces various obstacles, including low competitiveness, limited local design innovation, narrow market orientation, and suboptimal institutional support. This study confirms that optimizing the Jambi Batik Industry's contribution to improving community welfare requires a comprehensive development strategy, encompassing strengthening human resource capacity, innovation, market expansion, government policy support, and product diversification.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting national economic growth; however, many still face challenges in financial management practices. One of the primary issues identified in the Second Personal Computer (PC) Spare Parts business in Jambi City is the lack of systematic financial transaction recording, ineffective cash flow management, inadequate preparation of basic financial statements, and limited utilization of digital financial applications. These conditions make it difficult for business owners to monitor financial performance, evaluate business activities, and make appropriate managerial decisions. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of business owners in implementing effective and efficient financial management through both manual and digital financial recording practices. The implementation methods included preliminary observation, needs assessment, training sessions, practical exercises, mentoring, and interactive discussions. The training materials covered the fundamentals of financial management, transaction recording, cash flow management, preparation of basic financial statements, and the use of digital financial applications to support business operations. Program evaluation was conducted by observing participants' competencies before and after the activities. The results demonstrated significant improvements in participants' understanding of systematic financial management, their ability to record financial transactions and prepare basic financial reports, as well as increased awareness of utilizing digital financial applications to improve business performance. This program is expected to strengthen financial governance, improve the quality of managerial decision-making, and support the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of MSMEs.
