Abstract

The media becomes something important in the learning process. Technological development that has been used massively has an impact on efficiency in various aspects of life, should be utilized in the development of learning media. The purpose of this study is to develop a learning media called Hertovid (History Vertical Short Video) based on YouTube Shorts and evaluate its validity, feasibility of learning media, and effectiveness. Hertovid containing historical content of the Sendang Duwur Tomb Site. The development of Hertovid in this study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, following Sugiyono's model. At the product design validation carried out by material expert validators, obtaining 94,5%, and the media expert obtained 91,1%. The subjects used in the product initial trial and the product usage trial were 31 students from class X-E2 SMAN 1 Paciran. The percentage of 85,73% obtained from the initial trial result and 86,45% from the usage trial result. From this study, data were obtained that Hertovid is a historical learning media that is very feasible to use in learning and effective in improving students' understanding of the Sendang Duwur Tomb Site content.

Abstract

The role of religion and technology in society, highlighting how technology facilitates access to religious knowledge and can also be misused, causing social problems such as radicalization and teenage pregnancy. This emphasizes the importance of guiding teenagers through their development, including religious education and preventive measures such as communal religious approaches. Finally, specific initiatives were mentioned, such as the Pondok Ramadhan program at SMPN 17 Malang, which aims to strengthen religious values among students. This research adopts a qualitative approach because it aims to reveal phenomena that occur in the field, which are then explained in written form rather than numerical data. Qualitative research is a research method that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Research shows that Pondok Ramadhan activities at SMP Negeri 17 Malang have succeeded in developing religious character and increasing the spiritual values of students in a programmatic manner. Students demonstrated full participation in these activities, with positive changes in habits such as increased awareness of prayer times and participation in congregational worship. Schools play a role in forming students' awareness and independence in applying religious values, both in the context of worship and daily behavior, as well as strengthening social values such as generosity and giving alms.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas perbedaan individu dalam perkembangan dan pembelajaran, serta teori-teori mengenai keberagaman siswa dan kurikulum. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjelaskan pentingnya memahami perbedaan individu agar pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa yang beragam. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur yang mencakup teori kecerdasan, gaya belajar, kepribadian, kultur, status sosial, dan bahasa. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa setiap siswa memiliki karakteristik unik yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Kesimpulannya, guru harus memahami perbedaan ini dan mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan siswa yang beragam. Selain itu, kurikulum harus dirancang dengan baik dan didukung oleh tenaga pengajar yang kompeten, fasilitas yang memadai, dan manajemen yang efektif untuk mencapai hasil pembelajaran yang optimal.
