Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive explanation of how the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model is implemented in the instruction of Panca Dharma Stungkit MT class II students, with a particular emphasis on the subject of Islamic Religious Education.In this study, a qualitative approach is used to evaluate the dynamics of student interactions during the learning process.27 participants were divided into small groups according to the principles of NHT.Content analysis is a research method where the researcher not only examines written documents such as lesson plans and observation sheets but also conducts direct observations and in-depth interviews with teachers and students.The research results show that the Numbered Head Together learning model with teaching aids works well in Islamic religious education.Data shows that students are not only more engaged in the lessons, but they also better understand the material being taught.The structure of the NHT model, which consists of four main stages, supports this success: (1) numbering group members, (2) teacher asking questions, (3) talking and thinking together in groups, and (4) providing answers collaboratively.This phase has proven capable of creating an interactive learning environment and encouraging all students to participate actively.

Abstract

Organisasi internal mahasiswa merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam ruang lingkup perguruan tinggi khususnya pada proses kaderisasi di lingkungan kampus yang berperan dalam mengembangkan potensi mahasiswa selain dari ruang kelas khususnya dalam meningkatkan soft skill mahasiswa. Tujan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji lebih dalam terkait implementasi atau pelaksanaan organisasi internal mahasiswa dalam meningkat soft skill mahasiswa di Institut Syekh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Kota Binjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mendefinisikan secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat tentang fakta dan data yang penulis teliti serta menggunakan teknik analisis reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan melalui wawancara terbuka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran organisasi internal mahasiswa baik dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan soft skill mahasiswa di Institut Syekh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Kota Binjai dari segi tujuan dan standar organisasi, sumber daya dan program serta lingkungan dan sikap pelaksana organisasi

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan mewujudkan desa wisata syariah berbasis situs sejarah di Kabupaten “Langkat Berseri” (Bersih, Religius, Sejahtera, dan Inovatif). Kabupaten Langkat mempunyai banyak sekali situs bersejarah yang bernuansa Islam, yang selama ini hampir terlupakan, seperti makam para ulama maupun tokoh agama, masjid masjid tua, dan kawasan tradisional yang menyimpan nilai sejarah dan budaya Islam yang tinggi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pasar Rawa, Kecamatan Gebang dengan metode pendekatan partisipatif action research (PAR), Mitra pada penelitian ini adalah dinas pariwisata kabupaten Langkat, pemerintah Kecamatan dan pemerintah desa di Kecamatan Gebang, tokoh masyarakat, pengurus masjid, dan kelompok pemuda setempat. Bentuk kegiatan meliputi pendokumentasian situs sejarah, seminar tata kelola wisata berbasis syariah dan edukasi sejarah lokal, serta pendampingan promosi digital melalui media sosial dan platform daring. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah disetujuinya Desa gebang sebagai salah satu desa unggulan di kabupatan langkat sebagai obyek wisata dengan basis wisata sejarah sehingga menjadi kekuatan ekonomi baru yang berlandaskan spiritualitas, yang turut mendukung terwujudnya Langkat sebagai kabupaten religius yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the madrasa head in improving the work ethic of teachers at MTs Al-Washliyah Tandam Hilir. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation studies methods. The results of this research show that the role of the madrasa head in improving the work ethic of teachers in teaching at MTs Al-Washliyah is by meeting the teacher's financial needs, then the madrasa head also gives rewards to teachers who are considered the most active in terms of attendance and discipline in carrying out their duties. Another thing that is done is providing training in curriculum development for subjects according to the field of study, in order to improve the professional quality of teachers, so that teachers can improve their work ethic in teaching. The obstacle faced is that there are still teachers who often arrive late and lack discipline in teaching. Then there are still some teachers who are not academically aligned with the subjects they teach. The solution offered as an improvement effort in overcoming the obstacles that occur is that the head of the madrasah provides punishment or administrative sanctions for teachers who are undisciplined and often come to school late. Discuss with the madrasa supervisors regarding policies for teachers who are not yet aligned with their academic fields.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi kegiatan Bulan Bahasa dalam mengoptimalkan literasi siswa di SMAIT Al Fityah Binjai, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Berbagai penelitian telah membahas penguatan literasi di sekolah, namun kajian yang secara khusus menelaah pengelolaan program Bulan Bahasa sebagai strategi terstruktur dalam pengembangan literasi produktif di lingkungan Sekolah Menengah Atas Islam Terpadu masih terbatas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan fungsi manajemen yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan berperan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan literasi yang dirancang secara sistematis. Pelaksanaan program tersebut mendorong siswa untuk aktif membaca, menulis, serta mengembangkan kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara terarah sebagai bagian dari penguatan literasi produktif. Secara konseptual, temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan program bahasa berbasis sekolah yang dilakukan secara terstruktur dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam membangun budaya literasi yang berkelanjutan pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas Islam Terpadu. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa model manajemen program yang terencana dan terintegrasi dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan literasi produktif di sekolah menengah atas lainnya. Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of Language Month activities in optimizing students’ literacy at SMAIT Al Fityah Binjai, North Sumatra, Indonesia at the Senior High School (SMA) level. Although various studies have discussed literacy enhancement in schools, research that specifically examines the management of Language Month programs as a structured strategy for developing productive literacy in Integrated Islamic Senior High Schools remains limited. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the application of management functions, including planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision, plays a role in increasing student engagement in systematically designed literacy activities. The implementation of the program encourages students to actively read, write, and develop the ability to express ideas in a structured manner as part of strengthening productive literacy. Conceptually, these findings affirm that structured school-based language program management can serve as an effective strategy for building a sustainable literacy culture at the Integrated Islamic Senior High School level. This study implies that a well-planned and integrated program management model can serve as a reference for the development of productive literacy in other senior high schools. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas integrasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam mengoptimalkan keterampilan hafalan Al-Qur'an di Rumah Tahfizh Kawan M77. Kesenjangan penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena umum di lembaga pendidikan nonformal yang sering memisahkan kurikulum bahasa Arab dari kurikulum tahfizh, sehingga siswa cenderung menghafal teks secara mekanis tanpa pemahaman linguistik yang mumpuni. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi peserta, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam, penelitian ini mengumpulkan kontribusi komponen Nahwu, Sharaf, dan Qiraatul Kutub dalam meningkatkan daya ingat siswa. Implikasi teoretis dari temuan ini memperkuat paradigma kognitivisme dan konstruktivisme dalam pendidikan Islam, yang menegaskan bahwa memahami semantik sumber bahasa memungkinkan pemrosesan mendalam, yang secara linier meningkatkan retensi memori jangka panjang. Sebagai kontribusi praktis untuk pedagogi bahasa Arab, penelitian ini menawarkan model integrasi kurikulum yang menggabungkan penguasaan aturan bahasa dengan hafalan yang dipercepat. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan program tahfizh tidak hanya bergantung pada intensitas kontribusi, tetapi pada sinergi antara kompetensi guru dalam menjelaskan makna linguistik, motivasi intrinsik siswa, dan terciptanya lingkungan bahasa yang mendukung ekosistem pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Abstract This study analyzes the effectiveness of integrated Arabic language learning in optimizing Quran memorization skills at Rumah Tahfizh Kawan M77. This research gap stems from a common phenomenon in non-formal educational institutions, where the Arabic language curriculum is often separated from the tahfizh program, resulting in students mechanically memorizing texts without adequate linguistic understanding. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through participant observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, this study evaluates the contribution of Nahwu, Sharaf, and Qiraatul Kutub in supporting students' memory retention. The theoretical implications of the findings reinforce the cognitivist and constructivist paradigms in Islamic education, emphasizing that understanding the semantics of the source language enables in-depth information processing, which in turn enhances long-term memory retention. In terms of practical contributions to Arabic language pedagogy, this study proposes an integrated curriculum model that combines mastery of linguistic rules with accelerated memorization. The results highlight that the success of a tahfizh program depends not only on the intensity of memorization practice but also on the synergy between teacher competence in explaining linguistic meanings, students' intrinsic motivation, and the creation of a language-rich environment that supports a sustainable learning ecosystem in Islamic educational institutions.
