Exploration in the field of vocal training will make actors able to play ideal roles according to the needs of the character of the character being played. In the vocal exploration training activity at the Shedet Srepet Bojonegoro studio, the PKM team created a vocal creativity scheme in theater with a training method to improve the quality of vocal production for beginner actors. The selection of beginner actors is based on the needs of the studio to recruit regeneration and mentor new members to carry out performance productions on a staging work. Vocal training is considered one of the important elements that must be possessed by an actor, therefore vocal exploration is an important part to support studio activities in producing theater performances.

Abstract

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted educational and healthcare services, including the closure of schools and therapy centers for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This situation increased caregiving demands on parents who previously relied on support from teachers and therapists. Adolescents with ASD experience complex developmental impairments that require continuous and specialized care, making the prolonged pandemic particularly challenging for parents in managing caregiving, education, and therapy at home. This study aimed to explore parents’ experiences in caring for adolescents with ASD during the COVID-19 pandemic in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. A qualitative study with a descriptive phenomenological approach was conducted. Data were collected through focus group discussions with parents of adolescents with ASD aged 9–18 years and analyzed using Colaizzi’s method. The findings identified three main themes: increased caregiving burden, mental health challenges, and parents’ expectations regarding government policies on education and healthcare services for children with ASD. These findings highlight the need for supportive policies and the active involvement of healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, to promote parental well-being and continuity of care during public health crises.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the effectiveness of the jarimatika method in improving the multiplication skills of second-grade students in mathematics at SDI Al Hadad Kedungjambe Singgahan Tuban. This study is classified as qualitative research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the jarimatika method can improve student learning outcomes in multiplication material. The application of the Jarimatika method in the second grade at SDI Al Hadad Kedungjambe Singgahan Tuban shows that implementing the Jarimatika method significantly improves various aspects of mathematics learning. There is an increase in student active participation from 45% to 85%, multiplication accuracy rising from 50% to 90%, calculation speed with the average time to complete multiplication problems reduced from 10 minutes to 5 minutes, and student confidence rising from 40% to 80%. Additionally, the number of students achieving the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM) significantly increased after applying this method. Inhibiting factors include students being noisy, often chatting, and lacking understanding. Supporting factors include the ease and practicality of using the jarimatika method and the teacher’s ability to effectively manage and condition the class.

Abstract

Background: Global healthcare is shifting from a traditional paternalistic model to a more inclusive and collaborative approach through Patient-Centered Care (PCC). While its impact on efficiency and patient satisfaction is well-documented, a gap remains in mapping how PCC acts as a catalyst for organizational and cultural transformation in hospitals, especially during digital transitions. Purpose: To map and synthesize existing evidence regarding the implementation of patient-centered care in transforming mental health services. Method: Following the Arksey and O’Malley framework, a systematic search was conducted on PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Wiley Online Library for articles published between 2015 and 2025. After rigorous screening, 10 articles met the inclusion criteria and were used for data synthesis. Results: The findings identify three primary transformation themes: (1) Digital Transformation, utilizing virtual care, 3D medical imaging, and eHealth to enhance patient empowerment; (2) Cultural and Behavioral Transformation, focusing on therapeutic engagement and transparent communication; and (3) Structural Transformation, requiring collaborative governance and distributed leadership. Key facilitators include senior leadership support and change agents, while staff resistance and digital literacy remain significant barriers. Conclusion: Hospital transformation through PCC requires a holistic approach that balances technological advancement with human-centered care. Success depends on strong policy support and a leadership model that embraces all medical professions to ensure sustainable service optimization. Keywords: Hospital Service; Patient-Centered Care; Transformation.
