Abstract

Problem: Infectious disease is one of the health problems in the world, including in developing countries such as Indonesia. Environmental and cultural conditions in this country significantly affect the incidence of infection, stone disease, and its derivatives, which are still in the top ten deaths in Indonesia. This condition results from the public's lack of awareness of the dangers of chronic cough. One strategy that can be used to attract children's attention is using audio and visual or combining dance and song or choreography, also known as dance composition, which is the art of making/designing structures or grooves so that they become a pattern of movements. The term fare composition can also include navigation or connection to the system of the movement. In choreography, it is used to understand a tariff arrangement that can be analyzed from content, form, and technique. The aim of the research: This study aims to determine the effect of choreography and illustrated media on cough etiquette on increasing elementary school children's knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the city of Bengkulu. Research methods: This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental pre and post-test design with a control group. The group consisted of elementary school students who were given promotions on cough etiquette through choreography. In contrast, the control group was elementary school students who were given promotions on cough etiquette through illustrated cartoons. The population in this study were all elementary school students in Bengkulu City who found 26780 people. Results: The results of the bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed that after the intervention by giving a cough etiquette choreography video, the value is 0.003 < 0.05, indicating a difference in respondents' knowledge before and after choreographic video media. Meanwhile, knowledge after intervention by giving cough etiquette media values ??was obtained at 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a difference in respondents' knowledge before and before being given pictorial media. Conclusion: There is no difference between the effect of choreography and Media with cough etiquette on elementary school children's knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the city of Bengkulu.

Anemia is one of the global health problems, particularly in developing countries. Young women are a group that is prone to anemia because they menstruate every month. Lack of information and knowledge about anemia can cause decreased body immunity, impaired learning concentration, academic achievement, adolescent fitness, and adolescent work productivity. One way to increase knowledge and attitudes is by promoting health through podcast media. This study is about the influence of podcasts through YouTube social media in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of young women about anemia. This research was conducted with a Pre-Experimental design with pre-test and post-test. The number of respondents was 33; the sampling technique was purposive. The intervention was done through podcasts with as many as three episodes, each lasting 8 minutes. The research instruments were questionnaires on knowledge and attitudes regarding anemia and original videos of researchers. The normality test is the Shapiro-Wilk test; the data is not normally distributed. The analysis continued using the Wilcoxon test with an ? < of 0.05. The results stated that the average value of knowledge and attitudes about anemia before and after the intervention increased (p-value 0.000). Health education through video podcasts increases knowledge (9.00) and attitudes (33.70). Video podcasts can increase teenagers' knowledge and attitudes about anemia. Hopefully, this video podcast can be used as an educational tool about anemia for young women.

Abstract

School-aged children are a strategic or appropriate target for implementing health programs because apart from being large in number, they are also a target that is easy to reach and can be well organized. The high level of student ignorance regarding clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is still due to environmental factors, influence from peers, and educational patterns provided by parents. One way to increase children's knowledge is by providing education using a method that children like, namely through games. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of educational games on knowledge and attitudes about PHBS among elementary school children in the coastal area of Bengkulu City. This type of research used a quantitative method with quasi experimental design two group pretest posttest. The sample was taken from 70 people using a simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the paired T-Test. The results of statistical tests show that there is an increase in average knowledge after providing educational game intervention (p=0.000, t= -5.111, one tail) and there was an increase in average attitude after providing the educational game intervention (p=0.000, t=-1.548, one tail). The intervention was effective in knowledge and attitudes about PHBS among elementary school children in the coastal area of Bengkulu city. It is hoped that this research can be used as a medium to increase knowledge and attitudes towards implementing PHBS in children.
