Abstract

Abstract.The research aims to know the process and result of development of mathematics problem based learning materials foreighth grade of junior high schoolforSystem of linear equations of two variablestopic. The products refer to the component of problem based learning. Learning instrumentsdevelopment model refers to Plomp models which has 5 steps namely (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) test, evaluation, and revision and(5) implementation.This research has three products namely lesson plan, worksheet,and evaluation test. The data collection methods used in this research is, test interview, documentation, observation,and questionnaire.Based on the validation process and try out of validated materials, the score of each product are 0.93 for lesson plan, 0.94 for worksheet, and 0.95 for instrument. It can be concluded that the validated materials have satisfied of the validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract. The research aims is to know the process and the result of development lesson plan and student worksheets based on CORE (connecting organizing reflecting extending) learning model with technique of mind mapping for curved space topic at ninth grade of junior high school. Learning instruments development model refers to 4D Thiagarajan models which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research has two products namely lesson plan and student worksheets. Based on validation process and tryout, the result shows that the coefficient of validity reachs 0,60, the percentages of teacher’s activities and students’ responses are above 80%, and the percentage of students’ activitie is above 10% - 20%, it can be concluded that the lesson plan and student worksheet had fullfiled the validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

  Abstract. There are many students who have difficulty in solving math problems. The difficulties caused students mistake in solving problems. The of student’s mistakes consist of the use of computation errors, errors due to a lack of basic knowledge, reduction errors, and another errors. Therefore, the aplication of cooperative learning model with Mind Mapping technic is important to overcome the student’s mistakes in solving the Fraction problems at seven grade SMP Negeri 14 Jember odd semester academic year 2013/2014. This research type is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data analysed in this research are student’s activity, student’s mistakes, and effectiveness. The research show that student’s activity attain 66,48% in the first cycle and 71,62% in second cycle, student’s mistakes attain 50,72% in the first cycle and 34,28% in second cycle, and effectiveness attain 33,64% in the first and 60,67% in the second . It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model with Mind Mapping technic is effective to overcome student’s mistakes in solving Fraction. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of two stay two stray method is to make the learning process more effective and improve the focus of students. In general, mathematics learning at schools is still a teacher centered, so the students become less active in teaching learning process. It causes the students become passive, bored, and the low score of the student learning achievement. Therefore, it needs an innovation of learning by applying a cooperative learning two stay two stray method combined interactive cd of cylinder and cone topic to improve the student learning achievement. The research subject is IX D students of SMP Negeri 6 Situbondo. The data collection method used in this research is interview, documentation, observation, and test. The research observed the activity of the teachers and the students. The result shows that the activity of the teachers and the students are significantly increasing in class IX D SMP Negeri 6 Situbondo the improvements of students’ activities are indicated by the average score of 77,26% for the first cycle, 85,73% for the second cycle of the action research. We can conclude that the two stay two stray method combined interactive cd, is efective to improve the student learning achievement in cylinder and cone topic. It is proved by the result of student learning achievement, which is from 48% to 80%. Abstract

Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan Analisis Norma Sosiomatematik dalam Pembelajaran kolaboratif Pokok Bahasan Segitiga dan Segiempat di Kelas VII-C SMP Negeri 11 Jember. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika yang implementasinya menggunakan model pembelajaran kolaboratif dan mendeskripsikan norma sosiomatematik dalam pembelajaran kolaboratif pokok bahasan segitiga dan segiempat di kelas VII-C SMP Negeri 11 Jember. Indikator norma sosiomatematik dalam penelitian ini dijabarkan berdasarkan kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan keterampilan sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran kolaboratif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi RPP, LKS, dan kelengkapannya, lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar observasi norma sosiomatematik dalam aktivitas kolaborasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, 27 dari 38 subyek penelitian memiliki kategori keyakinan positif (P1, P2, maupun P3) terhadap aktivitas kolaborasi dan memiliki rata-rata persentase norma sosiomatematik diatas 50% atau dengan kata lain subyek tersebut memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan keterampilan sosial dalam kategori baik bahkan sangat baik Kata Kunci : norma sosiomatematik, keyakinan siswa, komunikasi matematik, keterampilan sosial, pembelajaran kolaboratif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh disposisi matematis terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan apabila ada, berapa eratnya pengaruh serta berarti atau tidaknya pengaruh itu. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah disposisi matematis siswa pada materi integral sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi integral sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen angket. Hasil analisis tingkat disposisi matematis siswa menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 siswa kelas XII IPA 2 SMAN 4 Jember terdapat 5 siswa yang memiliki tingkat disposisi matematis tinggi dan 25 siswa memiliki tingkat disposisi matematis sedang.Hasil analisis regresi yang diperoleh yaitu: persamaan regresiY=34,4+0,3X; rxy = 0,36 > rtabel = 0,374 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. yang berarti ada pengaruh positif disposisi matematis terhadap hasil belajar integral siswa sebesar 19% sedangkan 81% dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi integral tak tentu, minat, kecerdasan, kemampuan kognitif, Guru dan kondisi panca indra. Kata Kunci: Analisis Regresi, Disposisi Matematis, Hasil Belajar, Tingkat Disposisi Matematis.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika adalah penilaian hasil proses belajar matematika yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk angka, huruf, atau simbol yang dapat mencerminkan hasil yang telah dicapai oleh siswa atau anak dalam periode tertentu [1]. Dalam prosesnya hasil belajar dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Intelegensi dan task commitment merupakan salah satu faktor intern yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kemampuan intelegensi dan task commitment terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII Man 1 Jember, serta mencari tahu manakah faktor yang lebih dominan diantara keduanya. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan kuesioner (angket). Pengambian sampel menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling yang mana jumlah sampel yang digunakann yaitu sebanyak 169 siswa. Berdasarkan proses analisis diperoleh hasil yaitu Kemampuan intelegensi dan task commitment siswa secara parsial (individu) ataupun bersama-sama mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa, dengan persamaan garis regresi Y = -30,575 + 1,140X1 + 0,288X2 + ei. Kemampuan intelegensi memilki pengaruh lebih dominan yaitu sebesar 5,6%, sedangkan task commitment memiliki pengaruh sebesar 3,1% Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Matematika, intelegensi, Task Commitment

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar perkalian bilangan 1-5 melalui pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan pilih jawaban bernuansa Gasing. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN Slateng 03 Ledokombo Jember tahun 2011-2012. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu obsevasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif reflektif. Persentase aktivitas belajar pada siklus I adalah 59,88% (kategori sedang), dan meningkat pada siklus ke II yaitu 79,32%. Persentase hasil belajar matematika siswa melaui pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan pilih jawaban bernuansa Gasing ada perkalian bilangan 1-5 mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I persentasenya 70,37%, dan pada siklus ke II 88,89%, jadi meningkat 18,52%. Kata Kunci : pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan pilih jawaban bernuansa Gasing, PTK, Aktifitas, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

Abstract.The research purpose are knowing process and result of development of mathematics learning materials by CTL ( Contextual Teaching and Learning) and problem solving with Polya Method. This research was held in SMPN 10 Jember at seventh grade. The topic of this research is resolving problem related to quadrilateral. The research has product namely Lesson Plan, worksheet, and evaluation test.The development of this learning materials refers to Plomp model which has 5 phases. They are phases of preliminary investigation; phase of design; phase of realization or contruction; phase of test, evaluation and revision; and phase of implementation.The learning material is said good if it satisfies 3 criterias.
