Abstract

Tujuan riset untuk mengetahui nilai kecernaan protein dan energi metabolis pada perebusan biji alpukat sebagai bahan pakan alternatif campuran ransum ayam broiler. Ternak percobaan yang digunakan yakni ayam broiler sebanyak 30 ekor umur 35 hari dengan bobot badan 1.505,12±10,50 g. Bahan dan alat yang digunakan meliputi biji alpukat, penampung ekskreta, HCl 0,2 N dan alat force feeding. Rancangan percobaan memakai Uji T-tes, disetiap perlakuan berisi 15 ekor. Perlakuan yang diujicoba diantaranya tepung biji alpukat tanpa perebusan (P0) dan tepung biji alpukat dengan perebusan 60 menit (P1). Variabel yang diamati yakni kecernaan protein dan energy metabolis murni. Data diolah menggunakan uji t-tes pada taraf 5%. Berdasar uji t-tes menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung biji alpukat secara tunggal dengan perebusan selama 60 menit berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap kecernaan protein serta energi metabolis murni pada ayam broiler. Kesimpulan yakni tepung biji alpukat yang direbus selama 60 menit (P1) yang diberikan secara force feeding mampu meningkatkan kecernaan protein dan energi metabolis murni dan dapat menjadi bahan pakan alternatif sebagai campuran ransum ayam broiler.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan ekstrak buah Noni (Morinda citrifolia) dalam ransum terhadap profil lemak pada ayam broiler. Sejumlah 200 ekor ayam broiler dengan bobot badan 245,67 ± 10,27 g, eksktrak buah Noni (EBN), ethanol absolute, kertas saring, spuit, vacum tainer, alkohol dan alat tulis digunakan pada penelitian ini. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan (masing-masing diisi 10 ekor). Perlakuan yang diterapkan meliputi Kontrol (+) = Ransum control/RK, Kontrol (-) = RK+Bacitracin 0,04%, T1= RK+EBN 0,04%, T2= RK+EBN 0,08%, dan T3= RK+EBN 0,12%. Parameter yang diukur meliputi kolesterol, trigliserida, high density lipoprotein dan low density lipoprotein darah. Data dilakukan uji Anova dan beda nyata Duncan pada taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa penambahan EBN berpengaruh (p<0,05) terhadap kolesterol darah, trigliserida, high density lipoprotein dan low density lipoprotein. Penambahan EBN pada level 0,12% (T3) mampu menurunkan kadar kolesterol, trigliserida dan low density lipoprotein darah serta meningkatkan high density lipoprotein darah dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Simpulan adalah profil lemak darah yang ditambahkan EBN sampai level 0,12% (T3) mampu menjaga kesehatan tubuh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak buah noni dan Lactocillus acidophilus terhadap profil lemak darah ayam pedaging. Materi penelitian adalah day old chick (DOC) ayam pedaging sebanyak 189 ekor dengan bobot badan rata-rata 40,98 ± 1,27 g, ekstrak buah noni dan Lactobacillus acidophilus sebagai perlakuan. Perlakuan diberikan pada ayam dari umur 14 sampai 35 hari. Pakan dan air minum disediakan secara ad libitum. Penelitian disusun dalam rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor level ekstrak buah Noni (0,04%/A1, 0,08%/A2 dan 0,12%/A3) dan faktor level Lactobacillus acidophilus (0%/B1, 0,6%/B2 dan 1,2%/B3), sehingga terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi kolesterol, trigliserida, low density lipoprotein (LDL) dan high density lipoprotein (HDL). Data diolah dengan analis ragam pada taraf 5% dan apabila berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak ganda Duncan dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak buah noni dan Lactobacillus acidophilus berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap total kolesterol, trigliserida, LDL dan HDL pada darah ayam pedaging. Uji beda Duncan menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi ekstrak buah Noni 0,12% dan Lactobacillus acidophilus 1,2% (A3B3) memberikan hasil rataan terendah kolesterol (140,74 mg/dl), trigliserida (142,86 mg/dl), LDL (7,29 mg/dl) serta rataan HDL tertinggi (48,84 mg/dl). Penambahan ekstrak buah noni dan probiotik dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap profil darah ayam pedaging.

Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of adding inulin from dahlia tube extract (DTE) and papain enzyme in the feed using protein and calcium microparticles on nutrient absrorption (protein and calcium), nutrient content (protein and calcium content) meat and meat weight on broiler. A total of 200 one-day-old unsex broiler chicks with feeding of treatment 8 days old with an average body weight 137.63±12.03 g. The experiment consisted of completely randomized design with 4 treatment and 5 replice, each 10 bird. The treatment applied were P0: feed with microparticle protein and calcium, P1: P0+DTE 1.17%, P2: P0+enzim papain 0.15%, dan P3: P0+DTE 1.17%+papain enzyme 0.15%. The parameters observed were protein and calcium absrorption, meat protein and calcium content, and meat weight. The data were processed based on analysis of variance followed by Duncan's multiple area test at the 5% level. The results showed that the addition of inulin and papain enzymes in the ration containing protein and calcium microparticles had a significant effect (p<0.05) on protein and calcium absorption, protein and calcium content of meat, and weight of broiler meat. The conclusion, a mixture of inulin from 1.17% DTE and 0.15% papain enzyme (P3) in the feed using a protein source and calcium microparticles resulted in the best nutrient intake and weight of broiler meat with the highest protein and calcium content.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of adding phytobiotics derived from the skin of shallots, garlic, and bay leaves combined with Lactobacillus sp. in turkey rations on fat deposition and carcass percentage. The experimental cattle used were 80 unsex turkeys aged 3 months. The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design (RAK) with 5 treatments and 4 groups based on body weight, each containing 4 turkeys. Groups were divided based on body weight, namely K1 (400-550 g); K2 (551-700 g); K3 (701-850 g), and K4 (851-1000 g). The treatments applied were T0= Basal ration/RB; T1=RB + 0.25 g Lactobacillus sp. ; T2 = RB + 2% Phytobiotics.; T3= RB+0.25 g Lactobacillus sp.+ 2% Phytobiotics and T4= RB + 0.5 g Lactobacillus sp.+ 2% Phytobiotics. The research parameters measured included fat digestibility, the relative weight of abdominal fat, meat fat content, and carcass percentage. The data were analyzed for variance at the 5% significance level, followed by Duncan's multiple area tests with a 5% significance level. The results showed that the addition of phytobiotics combined with Lactobacillus sp. had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the decrease in fat digestibility and fat content of meat but no significant effect (P>0.05) on the relative weight of abdominal fat and carcass percentage. The addition of 2% phytobiotics combined with 0.50 g of Lactobacillus sp. can reduce turkey meat's fat digestibility and fat content but does not increase the relative weight of abdominal fat and carcass percentage.

Abstract

 The research was aimed to evaluate feeding effect of powder and extract of dahlia tuber as a sources of inulin prebiotic on protein digestibility and productivity of crossbred local chicken. A total of 280 unsex local crossbred chicken with the age of 22 days and average weight of 180.46±1.21 g was assigned in a completely randomized design with 7 treatments and 4 replications (10 birds each). Dietary treatments consist of T0 (basal ration), T1 (T0 + 0.4% dahlia powder), T2 (T0 + 0.8% dahlia powder), T3 (T0 + 1.2% dahlia powder), T4 (T0 + 0.39% dahlia extract), T5 (T0 + 0.78% dahlia extract), T6 (T0 + 1.17% extract dahlia). Treatment was conducted for 8 consecutive weeks. Variables observed were protein digestibility, short chain fatty acid (SCFA), muscle protein mass, muscle calsium mass, and body weight. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by Duncan test at the level of 5%. The results showed that feeding inulin in the form of powder or extract of dahlia tuber significantly (P0.05) increased protein digestibility, SCFA level, and body weight. Treatments T2 until T6 significantly (P0.05) increased muscle calsium mass but did not increase muscle protein mass. In conclusion, the used of 1.2% dahlia powder and 1.17% extract dahlia tuber as an inulin source increase protein digestibility and productivity of crossbred local chicken.Key words: inulin, dahlia tuber, crossbred local chicken

Abstract

The study was conducted from January to February 2014 in the Broiler Cage Stage Cikandang Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The study aims to examine the utilization of fermented banana peels on protein consumption, crude protein digestibility and protein mass of broiler chicken meat. The material used was 120 broiler chickens (unsex) with an average body weight of 475 ± 0.98 g / head for 14 days, rumen fluid, banana peels and rations arranged in iso energy and iso protein. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. T0 treatment = control ration without banana peel; T1 = ration with 5% fermented banana peel; T2 = ration with 10% fermented banana peel; T3 = ration with 15% fermented banana peel. Banana peels are fermented for 1 week to reduce high fiber content and high tannin. Data were analyzed using the F test at a level of 5%, followed by the Duncan test if there is a treatment effect. Based on research results, protein consumption was not significantly different (P> 0.05), so was protein digestibility and protein mass. The conclusion of this study is the use of banana peels fermented with rumen fluid has not been able to increase protein digestibility, protein consumption and protein mass of broiler chicken meat. However, the use of banana peels to a level of 15% does not reduce the utilization of protein so that it can be used up to a mixture of broiler chicken rations. Suggestion from research is that further research needs to be done with a different starter or fermenter. Keywords: Broiler, banana peel, rumen fluid, protein utilization

Abstract

The COVID-19 virus has had a major effect on conditions in Indonesia, one of which is the effect that employee performance in every company changes in the work process. All agencies are implementing the work-from-home program to change work arrangements as one of the government's guidelines for preventing COVID-19. WFH is a type of work style with the concept of a remote work system, offices are only allowed to employ 25% of employees and 75% of employees who carry out Work from Home PT Mesitecmitra Purnabangun has established a WFH program by holding meetings, briefings, and joint activities through Zoom meetings but some work cannot be done at home, such as file integrity checks or service requests that need to be done in person. Of course, this sudden policy becomes a challenge for employees on changes in performance in the office, especially discipline, motivation and compensation of employees. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline, motivation, and compensation on employee performance at PT Mesitecmitra Purnabangun. Sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to employees of PT Mesitecmitra Purnabangun. The results of this study indicate that discipline does not influence performance, motivation and compensation influence performance.

Abstract

The influence of social media on juvenile delinquency among students. Social media use has increased rapidly among teenagers, and this study aims to understand its impact on juvenile delinquent behavior. The research method used involves surveys and data analysis from a number of students who actively use social media. The results of this study highlight the need for a more thoughtful approach to youth use of social media. Schools, families and communities need to play a role in providing education about the healthy and safe use of social media. With a better understanding of the influence of social media, we can develop more effective strategies to reduce juvenile delinquency and protect young people from the negative impacts that may arise from uncontrolled social media use. Apart from that, social media can also influence the increase in bullying and cyberbullying behavior among teenagers

Abstract

In writing scientific work, it is necessary to use the Reference Manager application to support various forms of assignments in lectures, and student final assignments, now increasingly recommended because it is considered important. In using Mendeley, as one of the applications, it can help in managing scientific references such as books, journals, and other Constitutional references and articles. This can facilitate the preparation of references that are not small in number. Therefore, this training activity was organised face-to-face with the participation of 25 participants. The participants were students of the Faculty of Law and Economics of the afternoon class in semester 4 of the Islamic University of Jakarta. With the Mendeley training, it is hoped that students can smoothly use the application in preparing their final assignments. The method applied in this service is through training. This activity is divided into three stages, namely (a) training preparation, (b) delivery of materials and direct practice of using the Mendeley application, (c) monitoring of activities and (d) training evaluation. Through this activity, it is expected that participants, namely students, can understand the material and have the skills to compile their final project references using the Mendeley application. Keywords: training mendeley; final project; students. Abstrak: Pada Penulisan Karya ilmiah di butuhkan suatu penggunaan yaitu dengan aplikasi Reference Manager untuk mendukung berbagai bentuk tugas pada perkuliahan, dan tugas akhir mahasiswa, kini semakin disarankan karna dianggap penting. Dalam penggunaan Mendeley, sebagai salah satu aplikasi, dapat membantu dalam mengelola referensi ilmiah seperti buku, jurnal, dan referensi UUD serta artikel lainnya. Hal ini dapat memudahkan dalam penyusunan referensi yang jumlahnya tidak sedikit. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan ini diselenggarakan secara tatap muka dengan partisipasi 25 peserta. Para perserta merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum dan ekonomi kelas sore pada semester 4 Universitas Islam Jakarta. Dengan adanya pelatihan Mendeley, diharapkan mahasiswa dapat dengan lancar menggunakan aplikasi tersebut dalam penyusunan tugas akhir mereka. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melalui pelatihan. Kegiatan ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan, yakni (a) persiapan pelatihan, (b) penyampaian materi dan praktek langsung penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley, (c) Monitoring dari kegiatan dan (d) evaluasi pelatihan. Mahasiswa akan mendapatkan panduan langsung dari narasumber hingga setiap peserta memiliki pemahaman yang cukup dan mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut pada aplikasi Mendeley. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan peserta, yaitu mahasiswa, dapat memahami materi dan memiliki keterampilan untuk menyusun referensi tugas akhir mereka menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley. Kata kunci: pelatihan; tugas akhir; mahasiswa.
