Abstract

Salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang potensial di Indonesia adalah tanaman hias. Budidaya tanaman hias dapat menjadi peluang usaha dan dapat bermanfaat luas dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Tani Sahaja. Kelompok tani ini merupakan kumpulan dari petani tanaman hias. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan kawasan wisata yang merupakan jalan lintas menuju objek wisata Ait Terjun Harau, sehingga perlu perhatian lebih untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh Jorong Lubuk Limpato ini. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan pemberian edukasi terhadap media tanam yang sesuai untuk tanaman hias. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan berupa ceramah dan diskusi tentang pengertian media tanam, persyaratan media tanam yang baik, jenis jenis media tanam (Organik dan Anorganik) dan perbandingan komposisi media tanam yang digunakan serta evaluasi, dari evaluasi yang dilakukan petani tanaman hias memahami materi yang disampaikan dan akan menerapkan dalam kegiatan budidaya kedepannya.

Abstract

The ex-gold mine area in Kabupaten Sijunjung is experiencing degradation of soil nutrient content, so that the cultivation of agricultural crops does not provide optimal results. One of the steps to improve soil quality is the addition of organic matter. The aim of the study was to obtain compost that has the best nutrient content and is able to bind toxic substances in ex-mining land. The experiment was carried out from June to August 2022 in Kabupaten Sijunjung, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota and nutrient content analysis at the Central Plantation Central Laboratory of Pekanbaru Riau. The results of the compost nutrient analysis compared with SNI 7763:2018, showed that the P nutrient content in Mucuna bracteata compost had exceeded the quality standard of solid organic fertilizer. The addition of LCC compost can fix the Al-dd content in the ex-mining soil, from the initial soil test of about 6.40 cmol/kg after incubation with LCC compost, the Al-dd content decreased to <0.10 cmol/kg.

Abstract

Eco enzyme adalah salah satu solusi yang dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pemanfaatan sampah organik menjadi input bermanfaat di bidang pertanian salah satunya sebagai POC. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan nilai pH dan kandungan hara N, P dan K pada larutan eco enzym berbahan dasar kulit pepaya (Carica papaya L.), kulit nenas (Ananas comosus L.), kulit buah naga (Hylocereus polyrhizus),. Penelitian telah dilakukan di Lahan Percobaan dan Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh dengan tahapan penelitian adalah pembutan eco enzym dan dilakukan pengujian pH serta kandungan hara masing – masingnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen (percobaan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai pH berkisar antara 3,5 – 4,0; kandungan N berkisar antara 0,06 % - 0,15 %; nilai P berkisar 11,45 mgP2O5/100g – 2,29 mgP2O5/100g; dan kandungan K adalah 10,83 mgK2O/100g – 26,26 mgK2O/100g. Langkah untuk dapat meningkatkan kandungan hara dapat dilakukan dengan pembuatan eco enzym dengan menggunakan berbagai bahan baku kulit buah.

Abstract

The main problem for Indonesian farmers in cultivating horticultural and food crops is that cultivation methods are still conventional. This means that to increase plant productivity using inorganic fertilizers is more dominant than using organic fertilizers. The socialization activity for making biosaka elicitors was carried out on July 28 2023. And August 15 2023. The method of implementing the service activities at the first meeting was socialization on making biosaka elicitors. The socialization activity was carried out at the KWT Wirajaya meeting hall, this activity took the form of a discussion and briefing regarding the process of making biosaka elicitors. The next meeting was a demonstration of making the Biosaka Elisator. The aim of this community service is: Through training in making biosaka elicitors, we can educate farmers about the use of grass material available in the environment to support sustainable agriculture. The socialization and production of biosaka elicitors at KWT Wira Jaya has educated farmers about the benefits of grass material in the environment. Members of the Wira Jaya women's farmer group can make biosaka extractors to be applied to cultivated plants.paragraph, which is the essence of scientific papers.

Abstract

[PHENOTYPIC VARIABILITY AND MORPHOLOGICAL SIMILARITY OF JOB’S TEARS (Coix lacryma-jobi L.) IN LIMA PULUH KOTA REGENCY]. Job’s tears (Coix lacryma-jobi L) Has been long known as alternatif food crop and spread over the  West Sumatera Province. This study aims to determine the similarity of job’s tears based on morphological characters. This research was conducted in eight sub districts in Lima Puluh Kota regency. The accessions were observed on  the basis of  purposive sampling method. Data were collected for  29 morphological characteristics  and subjected to the similarity analysis  and cluster analysis using NtSys Ver 2.02i. From the analysis of similarity, job’s tears has a similarity coefficient ranging from 0.07 to 0.63 and shows a distant level of similarity to job’s tears even though they are located close to each other, so that the level of similarity of 74 accessions varies and spreads irregularly.
