<![CDATA[This research aims to examine and describe the efforts of the Makassar City KPU in encouraging community participation in the implementation of the 2018 regional elections. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research by determining the number of informants consisting of 9 informants selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by researchers goes through three work stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the KPU's efforts to encourage public participation in the 2018 regional elections include: a) carrying out regional elections professionally without black campaigns and the practice of money politics by ensuring that every citizen has the same rights and opportunities to participate in the regional election process, b) increasing voter participation by providing healthy political education by increasing public knowledge so that they can participate optimally in the regional election process, c) Transparency in the implementation of regional elections by providing information that is easily accessible, involving the public in decision making, using information technology, enforcing clear rules and sanctions, and involving independent supervision from supervisory institutions and civil society.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis kondisi sosial ekonomi petani padi sawah yang terdapat di Kabupaten Maros dan bagaimana dampak hubungan sosial petani padi sawah terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi para petani yang terdapat di Kabupaten Maros. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hubungan kerjasama diantara petani pemilik sawah, petani penggarap dan buruh tani berjalan dengan baik dan sudah menjunjung tinggi nlai-nilai solidaritas organis dan mekanis, dan (2) terdapat bagian dan unsur yang saling berhubungan sabagi salah satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dan saling memiliki keuntungan serta ketergantungan dalam rangka melaksanakan dan menjalankan tugas tanggung jawab mereka sebagai petani dalam bentuk pola hubungan kerjasama.This study aims to find and analyze the socio-economic conditions of rice farmers in Maros Regency and how the impact of social relations of rice farmers on the socio-economic conditions of farmers in Maros Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this study were in-depth interviews. The results of the study indicate that (1) the cooperative relationship between rice field owners, sharecroppers and farm laborers is running well and has upheld the values of organic and mechanical solidarity, and (2) there are parts and elements that are interconnected as one inseparable unit and have mutual benefits and dependencies in order to carry out and carry out their responsibilities as farmers in the form of a cooperative relationship pattern.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis perubahan sosial pada masyarakat sebagai dampak interaksi sosial yang terjadi dengan wisatawan dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengarui perubahan sosial pada masyarakat akibat interaksi masyarakat lokal dengan wisatawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perubahan sosial pada hakikatnya adalah kegiatan yang melekat pada kehidupan sehari-hari bagi individu yang bermukim di wilayah. Umumnya perubahan sosial yang sulit untuk berubah adalah kebiasaan yang menjadi peninggalan leluhur seperti misalnya kegiatan upacara ritual dalam meminta doa kepada leluhur guna mendapatkan keselamatan dan kesehatan di dunia, dan (2) interaksi langsung yang terjadi antara wisatawan dengan penduduk lokal memberikan perubahan. Pembangunan dalam masyarakat juga dapat mengadopsi trend modernisasi melalui penggunaan alat telekomomunikasi (handphone) penggunaan fasilitas internet dan pengembangan teknologi informasi.This study aims to find and analyze social changes in society as an impact of social interactions that occur with tourists and to find out what factors influence social changes in society due to interactions between local communities and tourists. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this study were in-depth interviews. The results of the study indicate that (1) social change is essentially an activity that is inherent in everyday life for individuals who live in the area. Generally, social changes that are difficult to change are habits that are ancestral legacies such as ritual ceremonies in asking for prayers to ancestors in order to obtain safety and health in the world, and (2) direct interactions that occur between tourists and local residents provide change. Development in society can also adopt modernization trends through the use of telecommunication devices (cell phones), the use of internet facilities and the development of information technology.]]>

<![CDATA[This research explores students' perceptions of halal tourism at Pasir Putih Bira Beach, Bulukumba Regency, and their potential in promoting halal tourism based on local culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The informants were 50 high school students in classes XI and XII, selected based on religiosity, domicile near tourist areas, and travel experience. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The research results show that most students have a normative understanding of halal tourism, such as the importance of worship facilities, halal food, and restrictions on interactions between genders. However, gaps were found between this understanding and the reality on the ground, including the lack of halal facilities and tourist behavior that was not in line with religious values. Students experience a dilemma between maintaining religious values and the reality of modern tourism. The research conclusion shows that students have the potential to become halal tourism promotion agents by integrating local cultural values such as politeness and respect for guests. This research recommends educating the younger generation and promoting halal tourism based on local wisdom to create inclusive and competitive destinations.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi peran Pemolisian Masyarakat dalam era revolusi industri 4.0 guna mencegah konflik sosial dalam rangka terwujudnya Kamtibmas di Polres Maros. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, bertujuan mengungkapkan kejadian atau fakta, keadaan, fenomena, variabel dan keadaan yang terjadi saat penelitian berlangsung dengan menyuguhkan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini di gunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah, dimana peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara serta kajian dokumen dan literature secara komprehensif sesuai dengan rumusan masalah yang ditentukan. Pada tahapan analisis data dilakukan dengan model penalaran induktif. Hasil dan pembahasan pada penelitian lebih menekankan pada pemaknaan atas data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi peran Pemolisian Masyarakat dalam era revolusi industri 4.0 guna mencegah konflik sosial dalam rangka terwujudnya Kamtibmas di Polres Maros adalah dengan melakukan optimalisasi pemetaan masalah (scanning) guna mencegah konflik sosial dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga keamanan, ketertiban dalam berbagai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan kepolisian guna mendukung program Pemolisian Masyarakat. This thesis research intended to identify the implementation of the role of Community Policing in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 to prevent social conflicts in the context of realizing Kamtibmas at the Maros Police Station. The research method used qualitatively with a type of qualitative descriptive approach, this aimed to reveal event or fact, circumstance, phenomena, variable and circumstances that occur during research by presenting what actually happened. The typ of descriptive qualitative study used to study on antrual object condition. where the researcher was the key instrument. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interview and comprehensive review of document and literature in accordance with the specified problem formulation. At the data analysis stage was conducted with an inductive reasoning model. The result and discussion in the study emphasize more on the meaning of the data obtained. The results showed that the implementation of the role of Community Policing in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 to prevent social conflics in the context of realizing Kamtibmas at the Maros Police Station is to optimize problem mapping (scanning) to prevent social conflict and increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining security, order in various activity carried out by the police to support the Community Policing program.]]>

Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, bertujuan mengungkapkan kejadian atau fakta, keadaan, fenomena, variabel dan keadaan yang terjadi saat penelitian berlangsung dengan menyuguhkan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini di gunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah, dimana peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara serta kajian dokumen dan literature secara komprehensif sesuai dengan rumusan masalah yang ditentukan. Pada tahapan analisis data dilakukan dengan model penalaran induktif. Hasil dan pembahasan pada penelitian lebih menekankan pada pemaknaan atas data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pengakuan hak ulayat sebagai hak masyarakat adat di Papua Barat. adalah pengakuan dan perlindungan serta pemberdayaan sumber daya alam secara substantive. Sebagai bagian dari ruang kehidupan masyarakat Papua Barat yang liniear dengan perwujudan nilai-nilai hak asasi manusia relefan dalam generasi hak ketiga. This study intended to identify the implementation of the recognition of ulayat right as the customary right of people in West Papua. The study method used qualitatively with a type of qualitative descriptive approach, this aimed to reveal event or fact, circumstance, phenomena, variable and circumstance occured during research by presenting what actually happened. This type of qualitative descriptive study was used to examine the natural condition of object, where the researcher is the key instrument. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interview and comprehensive review of document and literature in accordance with the specified problem formulation. At the stage of data analysis was carried out with an inductive reasoning model. The result and discussion in the study emphasize more on the meaning of the data obtained. The results of the research showed that the implementation of the recognition of ulayat right as customary community right in West Papua is the recognition and protection also substantive empowerment of natural resource. As part of the living space of West Papuan society which is linear with the realization of human right values in the third generation of right.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal of this research is to understand more about how railroad construction affects the social marginalization of individuals in Marusu District, Maros Regency. It used descriptive qualitative research and a case study approach to gather and analyze data on the engagement of all stakeholders in railroad development in Maros Regency. The results showed that the construction of railroads had a good impact on the social behavior of the community, as shown by a shift toward better development and support for government policies. <![CDATA[This research aims to obtain in-depth information about the quality of Conical Hat production (Caping) of the women's group of Conical Hat craftsmen is still low compared to the same production in the market, and the market share of Conical Hat handicrafts of the women's group is still limited to the local market. The type of research is descriptive qualitative with data analysis conducted in four stages; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research is also supported by data triangulation. The results showed that in improving the quality of production of Conical Hat (Caping), the group of housewives of Conical Hat craftsmen is still low compared to the same production in the market, so training and mentoring of Conical Hat craftsmen groups are needed to optimize production quality, to attract interest from consumers. Furthermore, the market share of Conical Hat crafted by women's groups is still limited to the local market by conducting techniques and assistance in marketing handicraft products.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to obtain in-depth information about the skills of traditional fisherwomen in processing marine products, and the knowledge of fisherwomen groups is very minimal as a reaction of humans to stimuli by the surrounding nature. The type of research is descriptive qualitative with data analysis carried out in four stages; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Additionally, data triangulation is used to strengthen the findings. The study reveals that to enhance the skills of fisherwomen on both islands in processing seafood, focused training sessions and group assistance are essential. These efforts aim to improve their capacity to utilize fish resources to create products such as shredded fish, fish nuggets, and fish balls, which can serve as a valuable source of supplementary income. Moreover, the limited knowledge of these fisherwomen indicates the need for further support, particularly in introducing techniques for effective product marketing. By facilitating both skill-building and marketing strategies, this research highlights the potential for empowering fisherwomen through initiatives that not only enhance their productivity but also contribute to the economic sustainability of their communities.]]>
