Abstract

Private vehicles are valuable assets for everyone. Each vehicle owner usually has their own way of protecting their vehicle from damage or loss, with many cases of motor vehicle theft in Indonesia making vehicle owners to be vigilant. Moreover, the lost vehicle will be difficult to find, one reason is the difficulty to track the whereabouts of the vehicle during the theft. Various efforts of vehicle owners to improve the safety of motorized vehicles that are parked, both in the public parking area or on the yard of the house, so that it is not easy to trigger theft. ) Producing a system that can monitor and request the location of a motorcycle vehicle when the vehicle is in danger or is stolen. The research method used is an analysis consisting of analysis of work methods and requirements analysis, a design consisting of hardware design and software design, an application consisting of hardware application and software application and finally a test consisting of testing of GPS , testing of GSM, testing all components and testing SMS applications. the conclusion of this research is (i) The hardware manufacture of "vehicle safety system using SMS (Short Message Service) as monitoring on motorcycle vehicles" was successfully made with the Arduino Uno microcontroller which is supported by the software in it and combined with several series supporting each other and (ii) Making software for "vehicle safety systems using SMS (Short Message Service) as monitoring on motorcycle vehicles" is a C language programming system that is made to work properly.

Abstract

Digital Information Board (Digital Signage) is a digital content management application that has been programmed to be able to display a sequence of information or messages to the target audience / audience effectively, quickly, precisely and reliably. Digital signage pampers the audience's eyes in providing an attractive and attractive visual spectacle, various messages or multimedia format information can be played smoothly, including images, videos, scroll text / running text, charts, graphs, schedules, news, weather presented dynamically using electronic display media such as LCD TVs, Plasma TVs, Projectors, and Digital Billboards as output. This research was carried out by utilizing the Rasberry Pi 3 Model B microcontroller as a webserver for digital information board media (digital signage) then with a WEB display as the output of the displayed display. Testing is carried out on the WEB, so that the web is made as expected and also valid. With the Digital Information Board using Rasberry, the information or message conveyed to the audience / audience will be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The thesis guidance process cannot run smoothly and on time if the busyness between lecturers and students causes a lack of suitable time to meet, so this obstacle can make the problems in writing the thesis unable to be solved as soon as possible. In addition, lecturers also find it difficult to monitor their tutored students because there are not a few students who are mentored. The purpose of this research is (a) to build an information system for the realization of the final project by using the waterfall method and (b) to test using a black box. Based on the results and discussion, conclusions can be drawn as follows: (i) Development of an information system for the realization of the final project in the waterfall method using UML design where the design results include System Actors (List Actor), Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams. (ii) System testing using Black Box. The results carried out using black boxes explain that the system created or the module used is running according to what is specified.

Abstract

The temperature of the air is the state of hot air caused by the heat of the sun. Factors that affect the amount of solar heat received by the earth are cloud, the surface plane, the angle of the sun, and the length of the sun's exposure. The heat of the earth's surface by solar radiation affects the heat of the air. Earth's surface air temperature varies because sunlight spreads unevenly on the earth's surface. The research aimed to design and implement a series of tools that can measure the ambient temperature and provide information about the environmental temperature via telegram. The methods used in this research were analyses consisting of needs analysis, and analysis of how it worked. Hardware and software implementations were also applied. The research carried out several tests, including tests on the DHT11 sensor, LED light, LCD i2c, Ethernet Shield, and Telegram test. The integration test on the LCD showed that when the temperature was below or the same as 25˚C, the green LED would be ON and the red LED OFF, which indicated that it was cold temperature. Conversely, when the temperature was the same or above 30˚C, the red LED would be ON, and the green LED OFF, indicating that the temperature was hot. The second test was to compare digital and analog sensors. The comparison values of the digital and analog temperatures were 1.1˚C, and the humidity was 23.1% RH. The highest temperature obtained from the system per day was 34˚C, and the lowest temperature was 23˚C.

Abstract

The use of server computers in an institution is managed according to required needs and functions. But as time goes on the server needs to increase. The NCC Laboratory as a research laboratory requires a server management mechanism for utilities that have a private server space to support each of its research. Server researchers, currently running on the computer's respective physical server so that the emergence of limitations of the availability of physical server computers to new researchers, while the utility computer server researchers who have already run in the taste still the operating system. Therefore the purpose of this research is to build a VPS (Virtual Private Server) system in one computer for the personal space of researchers to manage the research content in the form of Web-based applications. The methods used in this study were experiments with stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The operating system used is Linux Proxmox as virtual Manager, Ubuntu and CentOS as VPS. The result of this research VPS can be applied to support the needs of researchers using Linux operating system Ubuntu server and CentOS-based virtual manager Proxmox.

Abstract

Routing determines the route or path taken by packets and flows from sender to receiver. Software Define Networking (SDN) is a new concept for designing, building, and managing computer networks by separating controllers and devices. However, the development of a network that is currently increasing makes a computer network require a decision support mechanism, especially in determining the route or path taken by packets and flows from sender to receiver. This study aims to make a routing decision recommendation system using the Naïve Bayes algorithm using a QoS dataset including throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter with Tiphon standards and QoS requirements for several applications on the network. Openflow protocol, Ryu controller, and simulation-based implementation using mininet were used in this study. The performance results show that the Naive Bayes algorithm can provide routing recommendations for www Browsing, Video Streaming HD, and VoIP Telephony applications with an accuracy of 91% and an average precision of 95%.

Abstract

Increasing cases of COVID-19 are affecting metal craftsmen in small and medium enterprises in Tarikolot Village, Bogor Regency, Indonesia. There is growing research on the use of E-Commerce platforms. But in this study, in Tarikolot Village, Bogor, there is no research on village E-Commerce in marketing products from metal craftsmen. Through in-depth interviews, this research aims to uncover this assumption. How will this situation become more productive? Where, how, to what degree and for what reasons can metalworkers affected by COVID-19 use Village E-Commerce. This research gives researchers and practitioners an idea whether E-Commerce applications can be extended to metal craftsmen or even general affected craftsmen. This research builds a web-based Village E-Commerce application architecture through a descriptive research approach by analyzing the results of questionnaires and interviews. This research uses a descriptive model with data sources being in-depth interviews and a scale of E-Commerce business usage in marketing metal products. The importance of this research is the idea of designing a website-based E-Commerce application for managing metal craftsmen products. There are about 400 more metal craftsmen and 200 more metal craftsmen affected by COVID-19. The findings illustrate to researchers and practitioners that the application of E-Commerce can be expanded to improve marketing and market expansion of village metal crafts.

Abstract

Kinerja purwarupa sistem tertanam berbasis mikrokontroler untuk berbagai keperluan telah menjadi suatu keniscayaan. Berdasarkan hal itu, telah dibuat sebuah purwarupa sistem tertanam berbasis modul Arduiono UNO R3 yang terkendali melalui smartphone berbantuan protokol Internet dan Bluetoothuntuk pengoperasian actuator. Sasaran penelitian pada artikel ini, meliputi a) mengintegrasikan sejumlahperangkat elektronika, b) memrogram purwarupa sistem tertanam, dan c) mengukur kinerja purwarupa sistem tertanam. Pencapaian sasaran penelitian dilakukan melalui sejumlah tahapan dalam metode penelitian, yaitu (a) pengintegrasian komponen utama untuk keterbentukan sebuah perangkat dengan program tertanam dan pengawatan terintegrasi, (b) pemrograman terhadap purwarupa sistem berbasis Arduino IDE versi 1.6.0 dan aplikasi Basic4Android, dan (c) pengukuran kinerja purwarupa sistem tertanam untuk pengoperasian actuator melalui pemberian sejumlah kondisi. Hasil penelitian berupa perangkat elektronika berbentuk purwarupa dengan program tertanam berbasis Arduino IDE dan Basic4Android, sedangkan hasil pengukuran kinerja terhadap purwarupa sistem berupa keberhasilan keterhubungan melalui jalur Internet maupun Bluetooth. Berdasarkan hasil kinerja secara umum ditunjukkan, bahwa purwarupa sistem dapat digunakan untuk sistem pengoperasian actuator

Abstract

Serangan DOS (Denial of Service) bertujuan untuk menguras sumber daya server hingga server tidak mampu menjalankan fungsinya sebagai penyedia akses layanannya, seperti membanjiri server dengan berbagai kombinasi password untuk mengetahui password sebenarnya untuk server perusahaan yang ditargetkan. Berdasarkan informasi tersebut, peneliti merekomendasikan agar program fail2ban dievaluasi. Program ini akan beroperasi pada server yang akan memantau aktivitas luar yang tidak biasa sebelum memblokir alamat IP asal. Penelitian ini mencoba melindungi server dari penyusup jahat dengan menerapkan program fail2ban dan pendekatan dasar memindai dan memblokir alamat IP penyerang.

Abstract

Sistem informasi penjualan beras berbasis web dirancang untuk mengelola proses penjualan beras secara efisien dan terorganisir. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan berbagai fitur, seperti pencatatan transaksi, manajemen stok, pemrosesan pesanan, pembayaran, dan pelaporan penjualan. Tujuan utama pengembangan sistem adalah mengurangi kesalahan manual, meningkatkan akurasi data, serta mempercepat proses penjualan. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode black box menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi utama sistem, seperti login, pengelolaan data pelanggan, transaksi penjualan, dan laporan penjualan, berjalan sesuai spesifikasi dengan tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 100%. Keunggulan sistem terletak pada integrasi fitur top-up saldo menggunakan kartu RFID, kemampuan menghasilkan laporan penjualan secara harian hingga bulanan, dan aksesibilitas berbasis web yang memudahkan pemantauan data secara real-time. Dengan implementasi ini, sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan data penjualan beras.
