Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar menuntut siswa memahami konsep secara bermakna melalui pengalaman belajar yang aktif. Namun, pembelajaran masih cenderung bersifat teacher centered sehingga hasil belajar siswa belum maksimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran seperti model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media puzzle untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD No. 2 Munggu Badung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-eksperimen dan desain One Group Pre-test - Post-test Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, studi pustaka, serta tes hasil belajar berupa pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test siswa sebesar 53,92, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 86,60 setelah penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media puzzle. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas Vdi SD No. 2 Munggu Badung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Jigsaw-type Cooperative Learning model in Hindu Religious Education and Character Education classes to foster social interaction among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar. The study employed a qualitative descriptive research design. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research participants consisted of Hindu Religious Education teachers, eighth-grade students, and relevant school stakeholders involved in the learning process. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Jigsaw model was carried out through the formation of home groups and expert groups, collaborative discussions, peer teaching activities, and learning evaluation. The model enhanced students’ active participation, individual responsibility, and engagement during classroom activities. Social interactions developed predominantly in associative forms, including cooperation, accommodation, assimilation, and acculturation, while dissociative interactions such as competition and contravention appeared at a low level and remained constructive. The study concludes that the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model is effective in fostering positive social interaction, communication skills, collaborative learning experiences, and meaningful participation in Hindu Religious Education and Character Education classes.
