Abstract

The development of information system technology makes everyone need presentation of information quickly and efficiently. The Taruna Vocational High School (SMK) under the foundation of Tholobin Roudlotut / Ma'arif NU Institution are still manually processing correspondence data both in letter filing and mailing. This can makes frequent errors in mail data storing and searching. In solving the problem, a latter data processing system is needed to support the success in data collection and storage of correspondence. System Information processing correspondence is discussed about processing and archiving mail. The objective of this system is to build a web-based mail management information system at Taruna Balen Vocational High School, Bojonegoro. Data collection method used interview method, observation and literature review. The method used Waterfall Method. The programming language was PHP and HTML and database used MySQL. Furthermore, tools and editors used XAMPP 3.6, Windows 10 Pro, Firefox, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Ms. Office Visio 2010. Whereas, system testing used Alpha Testing with the Black Box method. The results of all tests on the login menu, the mail data and report menu have been successful. All systems have run quite well, safe in feasibility, easily understood in the appearance and the results obtained are appropriate to expectation. Thus, it can be concluded that the information system processing of correspondence are appropriate to expectation in processing letters data. It can be seen from the processing of letter data in inputting correspondence, the letter searching process, and also can speed up the performance of the administration staff.

Abstract

Warung sate kambing Mbak Wid memiliki luas ruangan 3m x 5m dengan 1 kipas angin di dalam ruangannya. Kipas angin di warung sate kambing Mbak Wid cara pengoperasiannya masih manual dengan cara memutar potensiometer jika ada pembeli dan suhu di dalam ruangan tersebut panas, jika tidak ada pembeli kipas angin akan dimatikan. Pengoperasian kipas angin yang manual dapat merepotkan pegawai dan pemilik sate kambing Mbak Wid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengaturan kipas angin otomatis menggunakan sensor LM35 berbasis arduino di warung sate kambing Mbak Wid. Perancangan sistem dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, literatur, eksperimen, dan dokumentasi. Pengaturan kipas angin otomatis menggunakan software Arduino IDE untuk memasukkan perintah dan Processing IDE digunakan untuk mengolah nilai suhu. Sensor LM35 mampu mendeteksi suhu ruangan dengan akurat pada jarak 1,5m - 2,5m. Pada jarak 3m sensor masih bisa mendeteksi suhu tetapi kurang akurat, sedangkan pada jarak 3,5 meter sensor akan mendeteksi suhu loncat tidak beraturan. Hasil dari penelitian ini pengaturan kipas angin otomatis dapat menyalakan dan mematikan kipas angin secara otomatis. Pengaturan kipas angin otomatis dapat menyalakan kipas angin secara otomatis pada suhu ≥ 270C dan dapat mematikan kipas angin secara otomatis pada suhu < 270C. Kipas angin dapat menyala dan mati secara otomatis pada pukul 09.00 - 10.00. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada pukul 09.00 - 10.00 terdapat suhu < 270C dan ≥ 270C. Pada pukul 11.00 - 16.00 kipas angin akan terus menyala, karena pada pukul 11.00 - 16.00 suhu selalu ≥ 270C. Mati dan menyala kipas angin belum stabil. Deteksi perubahan suhu dan waktu aktif berubah - ubah secara signifikan.

Abstract

The election process for the BEM president at Sahid Surakarta University previously used a website and log in using a username and password. The implementation of the election has several problems, such as multiple voting rights and an unregistered NIM. Therefore it is necessary to increase security by using applications and fingerprints for login. This study aims to build an application for the presidential BEM election system. The use of fingerprints to improve security in elections and avoid fraud during general elections. This research is software development using the waterfall method. The data collection is divided into three, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. In building the system, it uses the Embarcadero Delphi XE8. The database used by PostgreSQL and the fingerprint used by the Live 20R fingerprint. The system was tested using the Five View method. The fingerprint recording test used three different materials. The fingerprint recognition test used eight different finger conditions. The last test was the application delay time in the fingerprint response and the response to opening the menu. This research is the application of the presidential BEM election system for Sahid Surakarta University using fingerprint. The results of the tests carried out give 100% of the application running functionally. Meanwhile, fingerprint testing results show that the fingerprint machine only reads the fingerprints, while the fingerprint photos and the skin on the elbow cannot be read and stored by the machine. Fingerprint recognition testing using a fingerprint machine can read fingerprints in all conditions (wet fingers, oily fingers, inked fingers, pen crossed fingers, and sanitized fingers). However, fingerprints cannot read if the finger pattern is closed or blocked; namely, fingers closed one hand, fingers dusty, and fingers tied with thread. The time delay test produces an average time for fingerprint reading of 1.05 seconds, while the average time needed for menu opening is 0.25 seconds.
