Abstract

Implementation of Madrasa-Based Management in Efforts to Improve the Quality of Education at the Harisul Khairaat Islamic Boarding School in Bumi Hijrah Tidore, North Maluku. This paper describes the implementation of madrasah-based management to improve the quality of education at the Harisul Khairaat Bumi Hijrah Islamic Boarding School. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation techniques.The results of this study indicate that: (1) The quality of madrasa education at the Harisul Khairaat Islamic Boarding School with the implementation of MBM has had a positive impact on the input, process, and output of education. abroad and alumni are distributed in the world of work. (2) The implementation of madrasa-based management at the Harisul Khairaat Bumi Hijrah Islamic Boarding School has been carried out by applicable regulations

Abstract

Abstrak: Kiai's Leadership in Improving the Quality of Education Case Study of Harisul Khairaat Bumi Hijrah Islamic Boarding School, Tidore City and Islands, North Maluku Province This study will answer the problem of the kiai's leadership style and its implications for improving the quality of education in a case study at the Harisul Khairaat Islamic Boarding School in Bumi Hijrah Tidore and the Archipelago of North Maluku Province. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study found that: 1) KH An'aim Fatahna Djabir's leadership style was charismatic leadership; 2) KH An'aim Fatahna Djabir's leadership strategy was to improve the quality of human resources and students through increasing competence and enrolling students in national competitions and local areas, as well as improving facilities and infrastructure, and performance-based strengthening of the vision, mission, and targets. The implications of KH An'aim Fatahna Djabir's leadership are that the KIAI as caregiver involves many people, an effective leader is someone who is able to influence his followers to achieve the vision, mission, goals, and objectives, leadership must be a role model, provide convenience for teachers who want to work, create a comfortable working atmosphere and build student obedience.

Abstract

Secara umum kharisma kiai dalam kaitannya dengan pesantren merupakan hal yang esensial dan memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap santri yang dibinanya dan metode pembelajaran pendidikan Islam (pengajian kitab kuning) yang dilaksanakan setiap hari setelah salat Magrib dan Isya di Masjid Nurul Ihsan. Berdasarkan data yang penulis dapatkan, pada dasarnya An Nahdlah dalam membina dan membentuk perilaku santri menerapkan setidaknya ada 6 metode yang diterapkan dalam membentuk perilaku santri, yakni Metode Keteladanan (Uswah Hasanah), Latihan dan Pembiasaan, Mengambil Pelajaran (ibrah), Nasehat (mauidzah), Kedisiplinan, Pujian dan Hukuman (targhib wa tahzib). Sehingga perilaku yang terbentuk menunjukkan perilaku yang baik, hal ini terbukti bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari sistem pendidikan Islam (pengajian kitab kuning) terhadap perilaku santri.

Abstract

One of the da'wah in Indonesia is Islamic educational institutions, namely Islamic boarding schools which consistently carry out their da'wah activities by shaping the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of students in accordance with the guidance of Islamic teachings. The existence of An Anahdlah Islamic Boarding School in the midst of the people of Makassar City is very strategic for the development of Islamic da'wah, especially in urban communities that have been built by modernization. By maintaining the diversity of traditions as one of the teaching values, Islamic Boarding School An Nahdlah has challenges in carrying out Islamic da'wah.

Abstract

Wali kelas merupakan guru mata pelajaran yang yang diberikan amanah oleh kepala sekolah untuk mengatur kelas dan mengendalikan siswa ketika kegiatan belajar mengajar dan saat siswa mendapat masalah, baik permasalahan pribadi, sosial, atau permasalahan akademis. Sesuai dengan pemikiran di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran wali kelas dalam pengelolaan problem solving sangat urgen, dikarenakan dapat menopang kelancaran dan keefektifan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Sehingga membawa siswa kepada bakat, minat, dan semangat yang baik agar lebih serius dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi pengelolaan problem solving di SMAN 5 Tidore Kepulauan dan menganalisis peran wali kelas dalam pengelolaan problem solving di SMAN 5 Tidore Kepulauan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori yang bersifat menceritakan dan menggambarkan fakta temuan lapangan yang ditemukan peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengelolaan problem solving di SMAN 5 Tidore Kepulauan terdiri dari beberapa pengelolaan, diantaranya adalah kebijakan tata tertib siswa, alur pengelolaan problem solving, penghargaan (reward) dan hukuman (punishment), rapat koordinasi, pelibatan guru bimbingan konseling, pelibatan pengurus kelas, pelibatan pihak internal dan eksternal. Sedangkan Peran Wali Kelas Dalam Pengelolaan Problem Solving Di SMA Negeri 5 Tidore Kepulauan diantaranya mengidentifikasi permasalahan, melaksanakan bimbingan dan pembinaan, memberikan nasihat, memberikan motivasi, melakukan kunjungan rumah (home visit), melibatkan pengurus kelas,  membuat grup What’s App untuk siswa dan orang tua siswa, eksekutor sanksi skala ringan, pemberi stimulus, dan melakukan komunikasi pada pihak-pihak yang terkait dalam permasalahan siswa.

Abstract

There are several factors that determine the success of the learning process, one of which is teaching materials. Teaching materials need to be designed in such a way that they can support the achievement of expected learning outcomes. On the other hand, in the current era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government and all stakeholders must work together and think hard about dealing with this virus. One of the efforts that can be done to improve the ability of these teachers is to conduct training for teachers of SMP Negeri 13 which aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools. The community service activities in this report aim to improve the ability of junior high school teachers in making digital-based teaching materials to facilitate students in the learning process.Keywords: Learning, Teaching Materials, Teacher

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the shifting traditions of pesantren in South Sulawesi in the modern era, emphasizing the implementation of the Pesantren Law. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that modernization has influenced the curriculum, pesantren management, and daily educational practices. Pesantren has integrated religious education with general education, adopted professional management practices, and utilized technology in learning. However, they uphold traditional values such as studying kitab kuning and character education. The Pesantren Law provides legitimacy, legal support, and access to resources, although adaptation to modernization faces challenges such as internal resistance and resource limitations. The study concludes that pesantren have successfully adapted to modernity without losing their traditional identity. The implication is that strengthening the implementation of the Pesantren Law is essential to maximize Pesantren's role in fostering inclusive and adaptive Islamic education amid globalization.

Abstract

This research examines the strategic role of Ahmadiyah in education and da'wah in the modern Western world. The main issue addressed is how Ahmadiyah, often facing social and theological challenges, plays a significant role in promoting moderate and peaceful Islam in the West. The study aims to fill the gap in academic literature, which has rarely discussed Ahmadiyah's role in education and dawah. Using a library research approach, data were collected from relevant books, journals, and scientific articles. The research findings show that Ahmadiyah has established several educational institutions in Western countries, such as the UK and Canada, and uses modern media like MTA International to spread its message. Ahmadiyah also promotes interfaith dialogue and peaceful coexistence in pluralistic societies. The Tahrik Jadid movement, initiated by the second Khalifah, Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad, supports the construction of mosques and global education programs. In conclusion, Ahmadiyah has played an important role in strengthening the image of Islam as a peaceful religion in the West despite various challenges.
