The purpose of this study is to investigate the principles of communication applied in the organization, identify barriers that arise during the communication process, and analyze the use of written and oral communication. The research method used in qualitative research with a focus on phenomena. The findings of the study indicate that communication is an important aspect of all social interactions, especially when people have strong ties with each other. This strategy helps the Social Justice Party increase public trust, increase cadre loyalty, and achieve effective political goals. The integration of the principle of da'wah into all political activities ensures that all efforts are not only to protect the political environment but also to promote and integrate the general public with Islamic principles. Public communication is an important component of the Social Justice Party's communication strategy. The final step in the Social Justice Party's reform process is the development of a clear and structured program for the general public. This approach ensures that the Social Justice Party effectively communicates its values and interests to the public, ultimately resulting in better public relations and governance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Islamic management and leadership principles in the organization of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) in Padangsidimpuan City. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, this study aims to understand the experiences, views, and practices of PMII members and administrators in implementing Islamic values in managerial and leadership aspects. Data collection methods used include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, focus group discussions (FGD), and documentation studies. The subjects of the study were administrators, active members, and alumni of PMII who have direct experience in the organization. The results of the study indicate that Islamic management in PMII Padangsidimpuan City is strongly influenced by the values of amanah, justice, deliberation, and responsibility, which are applied in human resource management, task division, and decision-making. This study also found that the obstacles faced in implementing these principles include the lack of a uniform understanding of Islamic management and leadership among members and the challenge of maintaining the consistency of Islamic values in organizational dynamics. Nevertheless, the implementation of these principles has a positive impact on organizational performance and the development of member character, who are expected to be able to become leaders with integrity and commitment to Islamic values. This study contributes to the development of Islamic management and leadership theory, especially in the context of student organizations, and provides insight for similar organizations to implement Islamic principles more effectively in their activities and management.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has opened up new opportunities in the transformation of education, including Islamic education. This research aims to analyze the use of AI in personalizing Islamic learning in the era of Society 5.0, with a constructivism-based theoretical approach. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive analysis of the literature and phenomena related to the application of AI in Islamic education. The results show that AI has great potential in creating learning that is more adaptive and meets individual needs, especially through the use of personalization algorithms and in-depth data analysis. This article makes a novel contribution by offering a new perspective on the application of AI technology based on constructivism theory, which highlights the importance of the interaction between technology, learners and the social environment. Abstract

This paper aims to examine how the values of local customs and culture of South Tapanuli can be integrated in the character-building program of students in Madrasah. In the context of education, character is one of the important aspects that must be considered to form a generation that has good morality and a sense of love for the country. Along with the times, the process of preserving local culture is also increasingly threatened, so the integration of local culture in character education becomes very relevant. This paper uses a qualitative research method with a systematic literature review approach to identify cultural values that exist in South Tapanuli society, such as the concept of gotong royong, respect for parents, and the principles of simplicity and togetherness. These values are believed to be a strong foundation in the character-building process in Madrasahs, as well as instilling pride in the local culture itself. The results of this study indicate that the application of South Tapanuli customary and cultural values in character building in Madrasahs not only enriches the curriculum, but also strengthens social relations between students and between students and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of declining moral values and religious attitudes among students—such as a lack of courtesy, increased violence, and low empathy—has become a serious concern in the field of education. To address this issue, one approach that has been implemented is the Joyful School Movement (Gerakan Sekolah Menyenangkan, or GSM). GSM aims to create a friendly and enjoyable learning environment that supports the development of positive character traits, including students’ religious attitudes. This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, focusing on the direct experiences of students, teachers, and school principals in implementing GSM. The findings indicate that GSM is carried out through humanistic learning, regular religious activities such as group prayers and discussions, the use of religious visual media, and the involvement of student religious organizations (ROHIS). The positive impacts include increased student participation in religious activities, greater awareness of worship practices, and the emergence of polite, disciplined, and responsible behavior. The success of GSM is supported by the school’s commitment, the availability of facilities, and parental involvement. However, challenges remain, such as the low awareness among some students, a shortage of religious mentors, external environmental influences, and limited time.
