Abstract

Abstrak - Analisis kelayakan usaha dan operasional kapal penangkap khusus (slerek) atau purse seine dengan tangkapan utama yaitu lemuru (sardinella sp.) yang selalu tersedia sepanjang tahun di perairan Selat Bali (WPP NRI 573). Tujuan penelitian untuk Mengetahui Konstruksi armada kapal penangkap, teknik pengoperasian dan penanganan dan fishing ground dan hasil tangkapan, serta Menganalisis kelayakan usaha penangkapan ikan. Peneliitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Maret 2022 sampai 18 Juni 2022 pada KM. Bintang Putra Samudra yang berpangkalan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Pengambengan. Analisis deskriptif digunakan dengan mendeskripsikan tentang teknik penangkapan dan penanganan ikan dengan alat tangkap purse seine yang menggunakan 2 unit kapal serta pengoperasian alat tangkap yaitu sama seperti purse seine light fishing yang menggunakan bantuan cahaya lampu untuk mengumpulkan gerombolan ikan. penanganan ikan berupa penyiapan palka, pengangkutan ikan (brailing), dan pendinginan dengan Es menggunakan metode bulking dengan hasil tangkapan tertinggi pada koordinat 08º38''06" S dan 114º52''53" E sebesar 22,714.kg Nilai B/C ratio yaitu 3,2 lebih besar dari 1, sehingga usaha penangkapan ikan layak untuk dijalankan dan diteruskan. Berdasarkan nilai Break Even Point (BEP) dibutuhkan 153 trip (7 bulan 13 hari) untuk memperoleh keuntungan Rp. 14.939.057/trip agar mencapai titik impas. Kata Kunci : Penangkapan ikan, Daerah Penangkapan, Titik Impas. The aim of the research is to find out the construction of fishing fleets, operating and handling techniques and fishing grounds and catches, and to analyze the feasibility of fishing businesses. The research was carried out from 18 March 2022 to 18 June 2022 at KM. Bintang Putra Samudra based at the Pengambengan Archipelago Fishing Port. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the technique of catching and handling fish with purse seine fishing gear that uses 2 units of vessels and the operation of fishing gear is the same as purse seine light fishing which uses the help of lights to collect schools of fish. fish handling in the form of preparing holds, fish transportation (brailing), and cooling with ice using the bulking method with the highest catches at coordinates 08º38''06" S and 114º52''53" E of 22,714 kg The value of the B/C ratio is 3, 2 is greater than 1, so the fishing business is feasible to run and continue. Based on the value of the Break Even Point (BEP), it takes 153 trips (7 months 13 days) to get a profit of Rp. 14,939,057/trip to break even Keywords : Fishing, Catching Area, Break-even Point.

Abstract

Abstrak- Analisis kelayakan Usaha dan Operasional perikanan pole and line pada KM. Sylvia 445, di merupakan penelitian yang dilaksanakan perairan Laut Paga dan Laut Selatan Flores. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 17 Maret sampai dengan 28 Juni 2023. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui teknik pengoperasian alat tangkap, jenis hasil tangkapan dan kelayakan usaha perikanan tangkap pole and line pada KM. Sylvia 445. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah (1) metode analisis deskriptif, untuk memberikan gambaran objek yang diteliti melalui data yang telah dikumpulkan (2) Metode analisis Finansial, untuk mengetahui perkiraan dalam hal pendanaan dan aliran kas. Hasil analisis kelayakan usaha nilai B/C Ratio usaha perikanan pada Musim Ikan Sebesar 2,068, Payback Period (PP) sebesar 1,87 dan keuntungan bersih yang diterima yaitu Rp. 134.692.500,- serta keuntungan kotor Rp. 269.385.000,-. Dengan demikian usaha ini dikatakan layak dijalankan atau diteruskan. The data analysis method used is (1) descriptive analysis method, to provide an overview of the object under study through the data that has been collected (2) Financial analysis method, to find out estimates in terms of funding and cash flow. The results of the analysis of business feasibility B/C Ratio value of fishing business in the Fish Season is 2.068, the Payback Period (PP) is 1.87 and the net profit received is Rp. 134,692,500, - and a gross profit of Rp. 269,385,000,-. Abstract

Indonesia's marine sediment export policy has become a controversial topic among the public, especially in relation to environmental and socio-economic impacts. This research aims to analyze public sentiment towards Indonesia's marine sediment export policy via the X.com platform (formerly Twitter) using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. Data was taken during the period September to October 2024 using the scraping method using the Twitter API. The dataset consisting of 72 tweets was processed through a data preprocessing step to remove irrelevant elements. Sentiment is analyzed using the BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) model, which allows deep detection of sentiment context. The analysis results show that 67% of tweets contain negative sentiment, 25% are neutral, and 8% are positive. This finding shows that the public is worried about the impact of marine sediment export policies.

Abstract

Abstrak - Daerah penangkapan atau fishing ground merupakan area perairan yang menjadi tempat atau lokasi penangkapan ikan, memiliki kondisi yang mendukung keberadaan dan pertumbuhan ikan, sehingga menjadi tempat yang menarik bagi nelayan untuk melakukan aktivitas penangkapan, sehingga pemetaan sebaran fishing ground dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan indicator hasil tangkapan alat tangkap purse seine. Penelitian pemetaan sebaran daerah penangkapan dilaksanakan selama 90 (Sembilan puluh) hari terhitung 5 Januari sampai 28 April 2025, pada KM. Mina Samudra Makmur 02, selanjutnya data diolah secara deskriptif untuk ploting koordinat fishing ground berdasarkan posisi pengoperasian alat tangkap. Selanjutnya sebaran fishing ground diindikasikan dengan perolehan hasil tangkapan.dalam proporsi tangkapan utama (target) dan tangkapan sampingan (non-target) disertai identifikasi jenis ikan. Hasil tangkapan sampingan (non-target) selanjutnya dikelompokan menjadi hasil tangkapan yang dapat dimanfaatkan kembali (retained) dan hasil tangkapan yang dibuang (discarded). Hasil tangkapan utama (target) berupa ikan layang deles (Decapterus lajang), ikan layang benggol (Decapterus russelli), ikan kembung (Rastrelliger sp.), ikan selar bentong (Selar crumenophthalmus), ikan lemuru (Sardinella sp.), ikan lemuru jawa (Amblygaster sirm). Hasil tangkapan KM. Mina Samudra Makmur 02 sebesar 217.671 kg yang terdiri dari Hasil tangkapan Utama sebesar 192.412 kg (88,40 %) dan Hasil Tangkapan Sampingan sebesar 25.259 kg (11,60 %) Kata Kunci: Sebaran, Purse Seine, Daerah Penangkapan, Pemetaan Abstract - Fishing ground is a water area that is a place or location for fishing, has conditions that support the existence and growth of fish, so that it becomes an attractive place for fishermen to carry out fishing activities, so that mapping the distribution of fishing grounds can be done using the purse seine fishing gear catch indicator. The research on mapping the distribution of fishing areas was carried out for 90 (ninety) days from January 5 to April 28, 2025, on KM. Mina Samudra Makmur 02, then the data was processed descriptively to plot the coordinates of the fishing ground based on the operating position of the fishing gear. Furthermore, the distribution of fishing grounds is indicated by the acquisition of catch results. in the proportion of main catch (target) and bycatch (non-target) accompanied by identification of fish types. Bycatch (non-target) is then grouped into catches that can be reused (retained) and catches that are discarded (discarded). The main catch (target) is in the form of scad (Decapterus tunggal), scad (Decapterus russelli), mackerel (Rastrelliger sp.), scad (Selar crumenophthalmus), lemuru fish (Sardinella sp.), Java lemuru fish (Amblygaster sirm). The catch of KM. Mina Samudra Makmur 02 was 217,671 kg consisting of the Main Catch of 192,412 kg (88.40%) and the Bycatch of 25,259 kg (11.60%) Keyword : Distribution, Purse Seine,Ffishing Ground Mapping.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Tesabela mayoritas bermata pencaharian sebagai pembudidaya rumput laut. Disamping itu Masyarakat Desa Tesabela menjadikan nelayan sebagai mata pencaharian sampingan guna memenuhi kebutuhan hidup. Di perairan Desa Tesabela banyak terdapat ikan Baronang yang tertangkap menggunakan jaring insang millenium yang mana ikan Baronang tersebut dianggap sebagai hama bagi rumput laut. Perburuan ikan Baronang yang dianggap sebagai hama perlu diperhatikan ukuran layak tangkapnya guna menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Length at first Capture (Lc) dan Length at first Maturity (Lm) ikan Baronang (Siganus canaliculatus) sebagai acuan dalam upaya pengelolaan perikanan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan cara melakukan pengukuran panjang ikan Baronang dengan mengukur Panjang cagaknya dan juga menganalisis Tingkat Kematangan Gonad berdasarkan ukuran Panjang. Hasil yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian terkait dengan Length at first Capture (Lc) didapatkan ukuran panjang 13,8 cm dan Length at first Maturity (Lm) pada ukuran Panjang 13,9 cm, mengindikasikan bahwa sebagian besar ikan Baronang yang tertangkap di perairan Tesabela pada ukuran 13,8 cm tersebut ikan Baronang belum matang gonad sehingga layak untuk ditangkap. The majority of the people of Tesabela Village make their living as seaweed cultivators. Apart from that, the people of Tesabela Village use fishing as a side livelihood to meet their living needs. In the waters of Tesabela Village there are many Rabbitfish caught using millennium gill nets, where the Rabbitfish are considered a pest for seaweed. Hunting for Rabbitfish, which is considered a pest, requires attention to the appropriate catch size in order to maintain ecosystem balance. This research aims to analyze the Length at first Capture (Lc) and Length at first Maturity (Lm) of rabbitfish as a reference in sustainable fisheries management efforts. The method used in this research was to measure the length of the rabbitfish by measuring the length of its forks and also analyzing the Gonad Maturity Level based on Length. The results obtained from research results related to Length at first Capture (Lc) showed a length of 13.8 cm and Length at first Maturity (Lm) at a length of 13.9 cm, indicates that the majority of rabbitfish caught in Tesabela waters at a size of 13.8 cm have not yet matured their gonads so they are suitable for catching.

Abstract

This study analyses the social, economic, and ecological impact of PT. Gag Nickel mining activities on the society and coral reef ecosystem in Gag Island, Raja Ampat district. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires distributed to employees of PT. Gag Nikel and the surrounding community. The results of the research show that the presence of P.T. Gag Nikel has improved the income and well-being of the local population, with the majority of the population working as employees of the company. However, mining activities also cause damage to coral reef ecosystems, including soil erosion, sedimentation, and marine water pollution. In conclusion, in order to better sustainability, increased commitment of companies in managing environmental impacts and public involvement in decision-making related to mining activities is required. This research provides important insights for mining companies and other stakeholders in managing the impact of mining activities sustainably.
