Abstract

[Bahasa]: Inovasi proses pembelajaran menjadi sesuatu yang tidak bisa dihindari seiring dengan masifnya perkembangan teknologi dan informasi. Salah satu upaya inovasi tersebut adalah penggunaan PhET interactive simulation virtual laboratory dalam kegiatan praktikum pembelajaran fisika pada program kerjasama Sekolah Internasional Luar Negeri (SILN) Riyadh. Tujuan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep fisika melalui aktivitas praktikum dengan menggunakan PhET. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan 4 tahapan kegiatan yaitu (a) persiapan, (b) sosialisasi, (c) pelaksanaan, dan (d) evaluasi dan refleksi. Fokus materi dalam program ini adalah materi pada pelajaran fisika yang terdiri dari (a) Tekanan, (b) Hukum Kekekalan Energi, (c) Kinematika dan Dinamika Gerak, (d) Hukum Faraday, (e) dan Hukum Ohm. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek pelaksanaan praktikum virtual berbasis PhET diperoleh poin sebesar 3,5 yang mengindikasikan siswa sangat antusias dalam mengikuti program. Sedangkan poin yang paling rendah adalah pada aspek waktu yaitu sebesar 2,6. Keterbatasan program ini adalah minimnya waktu yang tersedia sehingga masih ada siswa yang merasa kesulitan ketika menggunakan aplikasi PhET. Penggunaan PhET interactive simulation ini dapat menjadi alternatif proses pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan antusisme belajar siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam memahami konsep fisika. Kata Kunci: laboratorium virtual, PhET, simulasi interaktif [English]: Innovation in the teaching and learning process is an inevitable facet along with the massive development of technology and information nowadays. One of the efforts is using PhET interactive simulation virtual laboratory in the physics learning practicum process in the Riyadh International Foreign School (SILN) cooperation program. This community service program aims to improve students' understanding of physics concepts through practicum activities using PhET. The method used in this program was Participatory Action Research (PAR) which consists of four stages, including (a) preparation, (b) socialization, (c) implementation, and (d) evaluation and reflection. The focus of the material in this program was on physics lessons consisting of (a) Pressure, (b) The law of Conservation of Energy, (c) Kinematics and Dynamics of Motion, (d) Faraday's Law, and (e) Ohm's Law. The result shows that in implementing the PhET-based virtual practicum aspect, points of 3.5 were obtained, indicating that students were highly enthusiastic about participating in the program. In contrast, the lowest point is in the aspect of time, which is 2.6. The limitation of this program was the lack of time available. Therefore, the students were still having difficulties when using the PhET application. PhET interactive simulation can be an alternative tool in the physics teaching and learning process to increase students' enthusiasm for learning, which will potentially impact improving students' competence in understanding physics concepts. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas air minum di daerah Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat yang sesuai dengan baku mutu air minum yang dilakukan dengan uji parameter fisika dan kimia. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena mengingat bahwa air merupakan kebutuhan bagi semua makhluk hidup terutama manusia yaitu untuk minum, memasak, mandi, mencuci dll, oleh karena itu penting untuk kita mengetahui kualitas air yang kita pakai setiap hari terutama air yang sering dikonsumsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menganalisis parameter fisika (suhu, ph, konduktivitas dan TDS) dan parameter kimia kandungan logam berat seperti (Mn, Fe dan Cu). Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa uji parameter fisika untuk rata-rata suhu maksimum yaitu 26,7   pada mata air pancor bawaq dan untuk nilai minimum sebesar 24,9 , pada mata air sarasute, untuk rata-rata pH maksimum sebesar 6,75 pada mata air sarasute dan pH minimum 6,59 pada mata air pancor bawaq, untuk rata-rata TDS maksimum sebesar 288 mg/L pada mata air pancor siwaq dan TDS minimum sebesar 76,67 mg/L pada mata air sarasute, dan untuk rata-rata maksimum konduktivitas sebesar 204  S/cm pada mata air pancor bawaq dan konduktivitas minimum sebesar 153,76  S/cm pada mata air sarasute. Sedangkan Hasil uji parameter kimia logam berat yaitu untuk  mangan (Mn) pada mata air sarasute tidak terdeteksi, pada mata air pancor bawaq nilai Mn sebesar 0,0054 ppm dan nilai Mn pada mata air pancor siwaq sebesar 0,0060 ppm, untuk kandungan besi dan Tembaga (Cu) pada ketiga mata air tersebut tidak terdeteksi. Oleh karena itu kualitas air minum didaerah lingsar masih aman untuk dikonsumsi baik jika dilihat berdasarkan parameter fisika dan kimiamya karena tidak melebihi batas ambang atau masih berada pada batas ambang yang sudah ditentukan oleh PERMENKES RI Nomor 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010.

Abstract

Functional group analysis of silica gel synthesized from river sand magnetic minerals using the sol-gel method was conducted. River sand magnetic mineral samples were taken from Sompang River, Lombok. The synthesis method used is a sol-gel method with variation of HCl acid 10 M and NH4OH base 10 M. Morphological characterization using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and mineral content analysis using Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). The morphology of the resulting silica gel is granular, showing crystalline properties with a silica concentration of 77.99 ± 0.17 atomic percent. Silica functional groups before absorption showed three stretching vibrations, namely OH group stretching vibrations in Si-OH and H2O at an absorption wavelength of 3669.77 cm-1, Si-O stretching vibrations from siloxane (Si-O-Si) at an absorption wavelength of 2858.51 cm-1 and Si-O asymmetric stretching vibrations from silanol (Si-OH) at an absorption wavelength of 962.88 cm-1. While the results of the analysis of silica gel after absorption show that almost all samples have vibrational absorption in the range of 400-500 cm-1. Other vibrational absorptions in silica samples that have been used as water filters indicate that the bonding between nano-silica as an absorber and heavy metals is due to the magnetic properties of nano-silica.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas VII, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Devision) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VII SmpN 1 kediri . Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian yang menggunakan Quasi eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ada 2 kelas yang terdiri dari 60 siswa, dimana siswa kelas VIIA yang berjumlah 30 siswa menjadi kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Devision dan kelas VIIB yang berjumlah 30 siswa menjadi kelas kontrol tanpa diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran konvensional . Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah instrument observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat adanya perbedaan pada hasil belajar terhadap keduan kelas dengan perlakuan yang berbeda. Pada hasil belajar memiliki perbedaan hasil antara kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Devision dengan nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 39,40 dan nilai rata-rata posttest yaitu 81,33 dengan jumlah peningkatan yaitu 41,93. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan model konvensional yaitu pada kelas pretest dengan nilai rata-rata 38,37 dan nilai rata-rata posttest yaitu 67,63 dengan jumlah peningkatan 29,26. Sehingga model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Devision berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of sap water by measuring its viscosity and dielectric constant. The sample used is pure sap water and sap water mixed with coconut water. The dielectric constant was measured using the parallel plate method while the viscosity was measured using the Oswald viscometer method. Based on the measurement results, the viscosity coefficient value of pure sap water is 1.558 Poise. The value of the viscosity coefficient decreases as the concentration of the sap water decreases where the viscosity coefficient value is 1.005 Poise for the sap water with a concentration of 50% and 0.753 Poise for the sap water with a concentration of 10%. In measuring the value of the dielectric constant, the dielectric constant of pure sap water is 7.38 x 105. The dielectric constant value of the sap water decreases with the addition of coconut water which is 4.90 x 105 at a concentration of 50%, and 3.39 x 105 at a concentration 10%. Pure sap water has a higher level of viscosity than coconut water which is indicated by a higher coefficient of viscosity compared to sap water which has been mixed with coconut water so that it is able to store more electrical energy, as a result the capacitance increases and the dielectric constant also increases.

Abstract

Community service has been carried out in the form of community service such as teaching and learning activities held by KKP UIN Mataram students at TPQ Al-Akidah, TelageNgembeng Hamlet, Nyurlembang Village, Narmada District. Through this activity students are expected to experience an increase in understanding and recognizing Arabic. The method used in this activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR). This activity was carried out in 4 stages, namely (a) preparation, (b) socialization, (c) implementation and finally (d) evaluation and reflection. Service activities have been carried out with good results. Based on the results of the activity evaluation, it shows that most students are enthusiastic in carrying out PhET-based virtual practicum with points 3.4 which shows that students are very enthusiastic. While the lowest point is in the time aspect with 2.6 points. The time for implementing the activity was felt to be very limited so that there were still students who felt they did not understand Arabic

Abstract

Community service has been carried out in the form of introducing simple experiments in learning which is expected to increase students' interest in learning physics. The method used in this introduction activity is direct experimentation. The experiments given are related to pressure and optics. In general, the service activities are carried out in 4 stages, namely preparation, socialisation, implementation and evaluation and reflection. The service activities have been carried out well. Based on the activity evaluation questionnaire, it shows that most students are satisfied and enthusiastic in carrying out experiments. However, the highlight is the time aspect. This is because students feel that the time given in discussing each material is not enough. In general, based on the questionnaire students feel motivated in learning through experiments followed by theoretical learning.

Abstract

Scientific paper training has been conducted for students of the physics tadris study program at the faculty of tarbiyah and keguruan, Mataram State Islamic University. The method used in this training activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR). In general, the training activities were carried out in 4 stages, namely preparation, socialization, implementation and evaluation and reflection. Training activities have been carried out well. Based on the activity evaluation questionnaire, it shows that most participants are satisfied and enthusiastic in carrying out the training. The resource persons presented have high competence in writing scientific papers. The facilities provided are also adequate in the form of software and materials. However, the training time was not long enough. This is because it takes time to provide habituation for participants so that continuous training is needed so that participants can get good results when writing scientific papers.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing briquettes that have quality in accordance with SNI, with the composition of cow dung and coconut shell materials so that they can be utilized as alternative energy. The core scheme of this research is to test the quality of charcoal, especially its calorific value. By using variables in the form of a mixture of cow dung and coconut shell used, for samples A: 30%, 70%, B: 40%, 60%, C: 50%, 50%, D: 30%, 70. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the mixture that has the optimal value to get the best quality of briquettes is sample D, which is 30% cow dung and 70% coconut shell where the calorific value obtained is 4706 cal/g. Cow dung is very efficient to be used as biobriquettes

Abstract

Project-based learning is essential for fostering creativity and collaboration among students, particularly in an increasingly digital educational landscape. This study investigates the effectiveness of implementing project-based learning using Google Sites in the educational context of the Physics Tadris Study Program at UIN Mataram. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control group, the research involved a sample of 44 students selected through cluster random sampling from a population of 110 across eight classes. Data on student creativity and collaboration were collected through validated tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets, with results analyzed using t-tests and normalized gain values (N-gain). The findings revealed a significant enhancement in both creativity and collaboration among students, demonstrating that project-based learning via Google Sites not only improves essential skills but also creates a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The implications of this study suggest that integrating technology into project-based learning can effectively advance the goals of Islamic education, preparing students for collaborative and creative engagement in their future professional endeavors.
