Abstract

PT. ABC adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa inspeksi teknik. Ruang lingkup PT. ABC bergerak di lingkungan Industri, Minerba dan Migas. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah berupa laporan hasil inspeksi. Penyimpanan laporan dan peralatan di PT. ABC terdapat dalam satu ruangan gudang. Tataletak ruang saat ini belum memperhitungkan biaya material handling dan penyusunan barang di gudang masih secara acak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menghitung dan meminimumkan biaya material handling, membuat disain usulan layout baru berdasarkan systematic layout planning dan membuat klasifikasi persediaan gudang dengan pendekatan class based storage untuk mengoptimumkan persediaan. Berdasarkan systematic layout planning menunjukan total biaya perpindahan material yang terjadi pada layout awal sebesar Rp 4.641,48, layout alternatif 1 sebesar Rp 3.381,98 dan layout alternatif 2 sebesar Rp 3.795,07. Alternatif 1 lebih meminimumkan biaya material handling, maka diusulkan pada PT. ABC untuk menggunakan layout alternatif 1. Berdasarkan class based storage dengan konsep ABC total biaya perpindahan material yang terjadi pada layout awal sebesar Rp 414,48 dan layout alternatif sebesar Rp 356,08. Layout alternatif lebih meminimumkan biaya material handling, maka diusulkan pada PT. ABC untuk menggunakan layout alternatif pada gudang.

Abstract

The study presented in this paper examines the adoption ERP practices a systematic explanation of the relationships marketing strategy, and enterprise performance. By examining ERP in relation to organization strategy, the study seeks to advance the understanding of ERP in a broader context. It also resolves some controversies that appear in the literature concerning the relationship between ERP and differentiation strategies and low cost strategies as well as quality and innovation performance. The empirical data for this study was drawn from a survey of 53 enterprises from East Java. The analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling (SEM) with software Amos 16 start technique by examining two competing models that represent full. The findings indicate that adoption ERP is positively and significantly related to low cost strategy and not significantly to differentiation strategy. The implication is that ERP needs to be complemented by other resources to more effectively realize the strategy in achieving a high level of performance.

Abstract

Aplication of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) technology to provide the data information, especially at manufacture the warehouse, it can not be done quickly, exactly (real-time) and efficient because the product write system and product data entry is still done manually to the ERP system. This conditions effect to the product first in first out (FIFO) system that does not well, and there is a relatively high of employees. To solve the weakness that happened in ERP technology implementation, it must be done integration with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. This integration produce lowering activity at warehouse become 50%. This activities lowering provide the velocity, data exactly, and also employee efficiency. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Aplikasi teknologi Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) dalam menyampaikan informasi data, khususnya pada gudang barang jadi perusahaan tidak dapat dilakukan dengan cepat, tepat (real-time) dan efisien karena sistem pencatatan produk masih dilakukan secara manual serta memasukkan data produk juga dilakukan secara manual ke sistem ERP. Pemasukan dan pencatatan data yang masih manual berdampak terhadap sistem first in first out (FIFO) produk yang tidak terlaksana dengan baik, dan tenaga kerja yang digunakan relatif banyak. Untuk mengatasi kelemahan yang terjadi pada penerapan teknologi ERP tersebut, maka dilakukan integrasi dengan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFId). Dalam penelitian pada sebuah gudang barang jadi di suatu perusahaan furniture, maka integrasi tersebut menghasilkan pengurangan aktivitas sebesar 50%. Pengurangan aktivitas ini menghasilkan kecepatan, ketepatan data serta efisiensi tenaga kerja. Kata kunci: ERP, RFId, FIFO.

Abstract

Most of enterprises got failed at the first step in implemented ERP. Based on cases study in furniture, consumer goods, and electronic company that already implemented the ERP; the failure happened when they tried to integrate the selling and production planning system and need relatively a long time for implementation. Based on experiences in the field, the successfully of the implementation, really depends on continuous improvement to match between ERP's system and real enterprises demand. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Banyak perusahaan mengalami kegagalan pada saat awal mengimplementasikan enterprise resources planning (ERP). Berdasarkan studi kasus pada perusahaan furniture, consumer good dan elektronik yang telah mengimplementasikan ERP, kesulitan yang ditemui adalah dalam mengintegrasikan sistem penjualan dan perencanaan produksi, serta waktu implementasi yang relatif lama. Dari pengalaman di lapangan, keberhasilan implementasi ditentukan oleh perbaikan berkelanjutan untuk menyesuaikan antara sistem ERP dan kebutuhan rill perusahaan. Kata kunci: ERP, integrasi penjualan dan perencanaan produksi, furniture, consumer good, elektronik.

Abstract

Implementation EntERPrise Resource Planning (ERP) requires user key to have a reliable competency especially in personnel management. For this study, a survey was conducted using interviews technique and distributing questionnaires to 80 manufacturing industry practitioners, with response rate 88.75%. Additionally, the data analysis was done using PLS with Jawa Web Start program. The findings of the research are: There is no influence between knowledge and skill in quality performance and innovation performance in improving the performance of the company while implementing the technology of ERP. Personality Characteristics affect the increase of quality performance and innovation in the improvement of the company's performance while implementing ERP technology. Demonstrable Performance effect the increase in the quality of performance and innovation in improving the company's performance while implementing ERP technology. Innovation performance and Quality performance together have a direct impact on enhancing the performance of companies while implementing ERP technology.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the role of the buyer-supplier relationship in improving the impact of top management involvement in the supply chain risk management. The study used 55 export-oriented manufacturing companies domiciled in East Java of Indonesia, and three respondents from top management level represented each company. Of 55, 44 companies have completed the questionnaires which means the response rate of 80%. Data collection used a questionnaire designed with a five-item Likert scale. Data analysis used the partial least square technique with Smart-PLS software version 3.0 to examine the hypotheses. The finding revealed that top management involvement affects supply chain risk management, top management involvement affects the buyer-supplier relationship, and buyer-supplier relationship affects supply chain risk management. The last finding is that buyer-supplier relationship empirically the effect of top management involvement. This paper paves the way for the manager in improving supply chain risk management by practicing top management involvement and development of a relationship with the supplier.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan karang taruna desa dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pelatihan kemampuan dan keterampilan. Jenis kegiatan pemberdayaan yang diberikan kepada karang taruna disesuaikan dengan potensi-potensi yang dimiliki desa setempat. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa desa setempat berpotensi sebagai tempat penyelenggaraan kegiatan outbound. Kesimpulan potensi tersebut diambil dari hasil identifikasi potensi outbound di desa Kebon Tunggul berupa kolam renang, aliran sungai, hutan, bukit-bukit, goa, sawah, serta lapangan luas yang dapat dipergunakan untuk camping. Pelatihan outbound yang dilaksanakan dalam rangka pemberdayaan karang taruna mendapat respon sangat baik dari karang taruna selaku peserta pelatihan. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melalu nilai umum kepuasan peserta terhadap materi pelatihan sebesar 4.4153 serta nilai umum kepuasan peserta terhadap performance instruktur outbound (pemateri) dalam menyampaikan materi pelatihan sebesar 4.4091. Peserta puas dikarenakan materi pelatihan membuat mereka mampu melaksanakan outbound secara mandiri, tercermin melalui nilai tertinggi indikator kepuasan materi pelatihan yaitu sebesar 4.5625. Tidak hanya itu, pesertapun semakin memahami pentingnya aspek keselamatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan outbound yang diperlihatkan melalui nilai 4.4448.

Abstract

MyBeb is a social payment application owned by one of the FinTech companies in the Sidoarjo area, East Java Province. Mybeb itself is an application that provides social media features as well as payments. In running the product, several obstacles and operational risks arise that have not been handled properly, and not a few users have not been properly educated in the use of this application. This study aims to identify risk priorities and corrective actions that must be taken using the MAFMA method. The method is to detect failure points that have great potential to be overcome. Then get the results and benefits of the analysis method that will affect the company using the methods. From the methods, the risk with the highest value was at the risk of the P10 value, which was 0.482. At the same time, the lowest risk is at P1 risk with a risk level value of 0.251. Then for managerial implications for the proposed improvement to the method with the highest risk level at P10 risk, a page for a list of friends using referral links from users is given to those who have done uploading profile photos.

Abstract

In this thesis discuss the effect of Information Technology Application on Organizational Performance through Cross Functional Team and Total Quality Management Implementation on the company. In this study using primary data with 102 population and 50 samples of manufacturing companies using data collection methods, namely 5 points Likert scale in the form of questionnaires distributed in companies that are open or closed that have large and medium industrial groups on firm manufacturing in East Java. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling analysis techniques, also called path modeling with SmartPLS tools. The questionnaire collected was 57 questionnaires. The result showed that the effect of Information Technology Application on Organizational Performance was significant. The results showed that the effect of Information Technology Application on Cross Functional Team was significant, the result showed that the effect of Information Technology Application on Total Quality Management Implementation was significant, the result showed that the effect of Cross-Functional Team on Organizational Performance was significant, the result showed that the effect of Cross-Functional Team on Total Quality Management Implementation was significant and the result showed that the effect of Total Quality Management Implementation on Organizational Performance was significant in firms manufacturing in East Java.

Abstract

Indonesia has entered the Southeast Asian free trade market or better known as ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). The economic growth and the increasing number of companies annually will bring some impacts on the competitions for many companies in Indonesia, so they have find their competitive advantage. The biggest competitive advantage of Indonesia is in the primary sector companies which is producing consumer goods from natural raw materials and semi-finished goods. To win the competition, the primary sectors require product standards as the company output by implementing TQM, which usually adopts ISO as the main requirement for exporting their products. This is also the criteria for the research samples. The questionnaires are distributed to 100 companies that have over 100 employees, and the returned questionnaires are 64, with four incomplete questionnaires, making the response rate of 60%. The data analysis is using PLS and proves that all hypotheses are accepted. First, TQM implementation has a positive and significant impact on supply chain integration. Second, TQM implementations in companies are able to create a proper documentation system for each department to facilitate good communication among departments. Third, TQM implementation has a positive impact on supply chain performance and employee satisfaction. Fourth, supply chain integration has a positive impact on employee satisfaction and supply chain performance. Employee satisfaction has a positive effect on supply chain performance. The overall impact of TQM implementation on supply chain performance is 0.4680. TQM implementation brings a positive impact on supply chain integration and supply chain performance, thus increases the total impact of supply chain performance
