Abstract

The study was inspired by some phenomena such as; the low quality of education in Indonesia, the high unemployment of Vocational high schools graduates and the measurement of school’s productivity which only was seen by the numbers of graduates. The objective of the study was to find the contribution of teachers’ competencies, the culture of school organization, the financing of education, the leadership of the principal, the roles of school committee would influence simultaneously and partially toward the process quality and productivity of vocational high schools based on business-management in Semarang. The respondents were 138 Vocational High Schools teachers based on Business and Management in Semarang. The data were collected by questionnaire, documentation and interview. They were analyzed by doubled regression. The result showed that the culture of organization, the leadership of the principal, and the school committee gave positive influence simultaneously   toward the process quality and school productivity. Whereas, the teachers’ competencies and the financing of the school did not give any influence toward the process quality and the school productivity.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian adalah seberapa besar nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif, seberapa besar prestasi on the job training, seberapa besar pengaruh nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produftif terhadap prestasi on the job training. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis seberapa besar nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif, untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis seberapa besar prestasi on the job training dan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif terhadap prestasi on the job training. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 118. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 54. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kepustakaan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif antara nilai rata- rata mata pelajaran produktif terhadap prestasi on the job training. Hal ini di tunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 6,397 > ttabel (2,01) dengan probabilitas 0.000 < 0.05. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah bahwa rata-rata nilai mata pelajaran produktif mencapai 7.7500 dalam kategori cukup. Rata-rata prestasi on the job training mencapai 8,0015 dalam kategori baik. Ada pengaruh antara nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran produktif terhadap prestasi on the job training dengan kontribusi sebesar 44%. Sedangkan 56% didukung oleh faktor lain yaitu minat dan motivasi mengikuti on the job training, fasilitas di dunia industri.   Kata Kunci : Mata Pelajaran Produktif, Prestasi on The Job Training

Abstract

Students in the first semester got difficulty to adapt the learning process in the university (student-oriented) which are different with the senior high school (teacher-oriented). Thus, the lecturer needed to solve the problem to sharpen students’ independence by using Jigsaw, a cooperative learning. Then, e-learning was also an important factor to spread the knowledge widely to students. Thus; the combination of Jigsaw and e-learning was expected to improve students’ achievement. The subjects of the study were 40 Economics education students in bachelor degree (S1), Unnes in Curriculum Review class. The objective of the study was to minimize the mistake, improve the students’ interest and study result in understanding the concept of the Standard of National Education through independent learning strategy based on e-learning and cooperative learning of Jigsaw. The result of study showed that students’ activities, interest, attention, participation in discussion and presentation in the classroom increased significantly with the mean 4.14. Then, students’ test results increased from pre-test which was only 74 then rose to 79 in the 1st cycle and 81 in the 2nd cycle with the level of completeness was 87.5%. Furthermore, students thought that the strategy was very good with the score 4.12

Abstract

The Objective of this study is to know and analyze the planning, the teaching-learning process and the assessment in SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The significances of this study are firstly, as a means to improve knowledge and technology especially about learning management for educational institutions, secondly, as an input for schools about learning management so the learning objectives can be conducted effectively and efficiently, thirdly as an input for related institutions, especially about learning management so the result of the study can be experienced by the society directly. This research used qualitative approach since it was a descriptive qualitative study. The techniques for collecting the data were interview, observation and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and concluding. And then triangulation was done to get the valid data. The result showed that before teaching, the teachers discuss together about planning until assessment under the control of the principal; next, the preparation by a techer including preparing the materials and media, until designing the method of teaching. After that, the teching-learning process which involves three activities; warming-up activity, main activities and cooling-down activity. And finally, the ssessment which is done during the teacjing-learning process and after learning in the form of students learning result. Moreover, for student who face difficulties in learning, the teacher gives remedial opportunity so their result can finally achieve Criteria of Minimal Score (kriteria ketuntasan minimal/KKM).

Abstract

Surveys and researches showed that there were many low finance literacy in various places. It happened also in The Economics Faculty, Semarang State University/ Universitas Negeri Semarang, there were from 16 of 40 students who had good financial behaviors. It was contradictive because they have taken accounting subject who should make them good in financial literacy. The research on financial literacy had the contradiction, especially the influence of financial education variable on financial literacy. Therefore; this study raised the mediating variables; the consumer knowledge variable and psychological factor variables (motivation, self efficacy). This study was analyzed structurally divided into two analyses; descriptive analysis and path inferential analysis.  The results of descriptive analysis showed that students’ financial literacy and financial education were in enough categories; whereas, motivation and self-efficacy were in good condition, and students’ financial knowledge was in unfavorable category. The results of path analysis showed that the variable of financial education did not have any direct influence  toward financial literacy, but it had indirect influence through motivation. Then, the variable of financial education also did not have any direct influence toward self-efficacy, and self-efficacy did influence toward financial literacy and financial knowledge did not have any influence toward financial literacy. Thus; the learning process on Finance should involve three aspects; cognitive, affective, and psychomotor; and it needs the development of learning model on Finance to involve students’ activeness in managing their financial activities.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of financial education toward financial literacy on Economics Faculty students. In Economics Faculty, Universitas Negeri Semarang, there were 16 of 40 students who had good financial behaviors.
