Abstract

This paper aims to explain the motivation of Australia in providing foreign aid, especially aid to Indonesia in Islamic education sub-sector. Australia provides assistance to Indonesia through the International donor agencies namely Australia Agency for International Development (AusAID), which is currently under arrangements Ministry Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia. Through AusAID, Australia has provided assistance to the sub-sectors of madrasa education in the form of block grants and training assistance in order to improve the quality and the quality of the madrasah.This study uses the perspective of realism where realism view that foreign aid is one of the tools of diplomacy when there is a state interest which cannot be achieved only by using military force. This paper also uses a combination of public diplomacy theory and the concept of soft power at the level of the nation state analysis.The results from this study consider that Australia provides assistance to sub-sector madrasa education with the aim to dampen radicalism in madrassas. This can be seen from the formulation aid that began after the Bali bombing and the provision which requires madrassas should be tolerant, open and willing to instill the value of pluralism.Keywords: Foreign Assistance, Education Assistance, AusAID, Radicalism, Madrasa Education Sub-Sector, Education Partnership.

Abstract

This research is discussing a propaganda Israel through Turkey on Valley ofthe Wolves: Palestine in 2011. The movie telling a story of assaulting MaviMarmara ship by Israel and raising the phenomenon conflict of Israel-Palestinian. The research uses qualitative method according libraries systemof study. The author applying constructivism as perspective and propagandatheory of Harold Dwight Lasswell in explain significance Turkey through theValley of the Wolves: Palestine. In this study it was found that Turkey wasdeliberately released the movie with propaganda. Turkey’s effort to showIsrael’s negative image as an instrument in order to gain sympathy andsupport for the Palestinians primarily through human right violations in MaviMarmara incident. Abstract

This research purpose is to explain about the trade policy of the European Union towards Indonesia’s shrimp export commodities in the form of non tariff barriers. This research purpose too for explain about Indonesian shrimp harmful to health of European consumers. Unit analysis of this research is a group (the European Unions). This research analysed used neo mercantilisme perspective, protectionisme theory to approve the trade policy of European Union towards Indonesia. This research is a qualitative of research. Data collection method of this research is library research. The result of this research are the existence protection high levels by European Union of European Consumers. Abstract

The fact that Indonesia is the country that contributing marine plastic debris is the second largest in the world were indeed unavoidable again. The problem of marine plastic debris a threat so real and very contradictory for Indonesia who want to realizing the realization of Indonesia's Vision as a World Maritime Axis Country.Referring to the increasing intensity of marine plastic debris which gets higher throughout the year and not balanced by treating good of plastic waste, several strategies to reducing marine plastic debris are very much needed by Indonesia today, one of them by joining and conducting regional cooperation with the Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA). This research uses the theory of Sustainable Development Goals and supported by the concept of Maritime Security. This study also uses descriptive qualitative research methods and uses the Nation State as a level analysis . Research data is obtained through literature review and all research data derived directly from government official websites and related regional environmental agencies. Based on the results from analyzing of the researchers, it can be concluded that the Indonesian government's strategy to reduce marine s by joining and conducting regional cooperation with the Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA) is to create and execute the Regional Action Plan of Marine Litter (RAP-MALI ) and dividing again the action plan into several systematic and directed strategies. This research proves that the Indonesian government has a strong commitment and is trying to reduce marine plastic debris  in order to realize Indonesia as the World's Maritime Axis.Keywords: Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA), Marine Plastic Debris, Strategy, World’s Maritime Axis, Regional Cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Uruguayan Government policy violates the 1961 Single Convention results relating to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substance, to knowing the implications that will be brought about by the Uruguay Government policy legalizing cultivation, distribution and consumption of cannabis/Marijuana trade international and to find out the extent to which the role of The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB).This study used qualitative research methods which the source data was taken from books, journals, newspapers, internet, and previous research has relevant data with the title. The concept used in this study is the concept of national interest and the theory of Rational Actor. By using Nation - State level behavior analysis, the main focus is to study the behavior of states in getting its interests in international relations.This study will describe Uruguay Government’s violated The Single Convention of 1961 relating to narcotics and psychotropic. Uruguay Government made a policy which every citizen’s can produce and use narcotics and psychotropic freely. Uruguay Government made a Legalization Cannabis/Marijuana. The policy Uruguay Government’s was contradiction with the Single Convention of 1961 about narcotics and psychotropic. Regulation No. 19.172 really contradiction with Article 2 section 9, Article 4, and Article 36. Abstract

             The purpose of the study was to find a general description of IORA, to provide information about the optimization of the city of Padang and the collaboration between the city of Padang and IORA. This thesis theory is paradiplomasi referring to international relations carried out sub-national, regional, local agencies, for their interests. subnational government (SNG) or regional government There are several supporting factors that explain gaining its place in the world of international relations, first, namely the development of actors in international relations as a result of globalization. Secondly, although SNG's role has become increasingly significant, it is not labeled as a development that only attracts media attention.This study applies a qualitative method by collecting data from various references. Through books and scientific journals, the authors analyze by looking for the same themes as the writing of the research being carried out then taking the core of matters relating to research. The city of Padang was involved as host of a meeting of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA).In this study the IORA will be analyzed will be explained using the concept of subnational government, through several factors, such as infrastructure, GDP, labor and others. Data analysis will then begin by identifying what potential the City of Padang has. Opportunities are opened to promote the potentials of the City of Padang to IORA member countries which then open up investment and cooperation opportunities between the Padang City government and IORA member countries. Abstract

Since Joko Widodo inaugurated as the President of Indonesia, Indonesia made a movement of the policy based on Maritime Axis concept. The concept means to recalling the nature of Indonesia’s paradigm in case of the nation is the archipelagic state. In the process of the implementation of the concept, particularly on 2015 October, Indonesia officially became the chairman of Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA). The implementation of Maritime Axis had politically aided by these two correlated entities.This research is a descriptive-analytic that aims to explain the strategic values of IORA and theoretically using Regional Security Complex Theory by Barry Buzan that describes the complexity in a region. In realism realm, the RSCT is utilized to as one of substructure and has role in theoretical precisely in international system case.The equilibrium of Maritime Axis Pilar and 6 Priorities of IORA concluded that IORA has strategic values in implementing Maritime Axis concept for Indonesia. The statement hypothetically supports by several reasons such as Indonesia could use IORA for rebuilding the maritime culture, guarding the sea resources, maritime diplomacy, and building the maritime power that accumulated by three realms such as political and security, economy, and socio-cultural.Keywords: IORA, Indian Ocean, Political and Security, International Economy, RSCT

Abstract

This research identifies the role of UNICEF in dealing with child soldiers in the Central African country. The research also explains in detail the root causes of conflict and the consequences of the conflict occurred in the Central African country. UNICEF as one of the world institutions that fight for children's rights, has made many changes, working with communities and influencing governments. in Central Africa. UNICEF has provided significant funding to build facilities for the protection of child victims of conflict in central Africa. UNICEF also strive to connect and engage all parties to the conflict to not use children as soldiers as well as the target of violence. Protection and legal training for actors involved in the legal handling of the child. Abstract

This research explain about the role of UNICEF in dealing with victims of the earthquake in Nepal 2015. The research also describes how the impact of the earthquake in Nepal and how the condition of Nepal after the earthquake. The earthquakes in April and May 2015 took the lives of nearly 9,000 people. The earthquakes injured thousands and turned to rubble a huge number of homes, health posts and schools that faced the brunt of the quakes. UNICEF as one of the world institutions that fight for children's rights, has made many changes, working with communities and influencing governments in Nepal.This research theoretically has built with pluralism perspective on International Relations and supported by group behavior analysis, international organization theories, and also the concept of the role.The techniques used to collects data to study the case to library research in the form of journals, books, official document, article, and website. Formulation of all arguments, facts, and theoretical framework on this research is guided by qualitative explanation methods. Scope of this research is about UNICEF’s role to dealing with victims of the earthquake in Nepal.UNICEF started its response to the disaster right from day one on 25 April 2015. UNICEF launched an emergency appeal to cover the needs of the immediate response and early recovery phase. By using resources contributed towards this emergency appeal, UNICEF supported a number of life-saving activities across the areas of health; nutrition; water, sanitation and hygiene(WASH); education; child protection; and social protection. In addition, UNICEF engaged in helping to disseminate messages to assist children and their families stay safe and healthy during the disaster, as well as information on relief efforts in their communities.Keyword: earthquake, role, UNICEF, Nepal

Abstract

This Research is a contemporer study which analyzes about the challenge of International Labour Organization (ILO) in action to resolve the child labour problem in Bangladesh. Child labor is a social problem that has become a global issue and the agenda of nations in the world. The term child labor is often defined as work that hampers their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and is harmful to their physical and mental development. Bangladesh is a country with a high rate of child labor with a variety of issues contained therein. ILO as an international organization that deals with welfare has made various efforts but still has some challenges in resolving the problem of child labor in Bangladesh.This study aims to identify and explain the challenges of the ILO in its efforts to eliminate the number of child laborers in Bangladesh. This research was developed based on the framework of pluralism perspective that is supported by the theory of international organization, as well as the level of analysis using the government as the main actor in international relations. The concept leads to qualitative methods and the study of literature as a source of information.The challenges of ILO in its efforts to resolve the problem of child labor in Bangladesh, are the problem of poverty, the culture that assumed the child labour is normal, low education, and law enforcement that is not effective.Keywords: child labour, challenge, International Labour Organization (ILO), Bangladesh
