Abstract

This research aims to explain the impact of cooperation by the Indonesian wooden furniture industry exports to the Algeria in 2014-2016. Algeria has routinely imported wooden furniture from Malaysia to supply their needs in domestic furniture. In fact, Algerian entrepeneurs know furniture from Malaysia mostly come from Indonesia. One of the factors because there is no agreement from Indonesia and Algeria to cooperate in the industrial sector especially the furniture industry sector.The theories used in this research is interdependence theory and comparative advantage thery. The author used liberalism approach. Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official document and websites that support the hyphotesis.The result of this study indicate that after the agreement, the dollar exchange rate at that time also affected the amount of wooden furniture exports. If the dollar is more expensive, then the interest of furniture buyers come down because of the buyers want the same price as before the dollar increase. Apart from the amount of wooden furniture exports, the number of workers and the number of furniture industrial also affected.Keywords: Wooden Furniture, Exports, Dollar Exchange

Abstract

Indonesia has the initiative to corporate with Singapore to improve the quality ofeducation in Indonesia. So, in 2005, the representatives from Indonesia and Singapore met todiscuss about cooperation between educational institution in Indonesia and Singapore. Someschools in Indonesia that have local advantages have been paired with schools in Singaporein a program that called Sister School.This cooperation has been ongoing since 2008 until2011.This is a qualitative research by using primer and secondary file. The writer collectdata from journals, books, reports, working papers and online media. This research usescooperation theory and neo liberalism perspective. The level analysis used is the individualgroup. The purpose of this research is to know the educational cooperation between Indonesiaand Singapore, the Sister School cooperation of SMA Labschool Jakarta with CHIJ St. Joseph'sConvent Singapore and also to see how the impact of that cooperation for the both of countries.This research shows that the education cooperation between Indonesia and Singaporehas positively impact for the cost of education and socio-culture of both countries. The samebenefits are also felt by the schools. However, in the implementation of this cooperation, bothIndonesia and Singapore also face a number of challenge. Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview regarding the Task Force Maluku IDN-NL and its role in sustaining NKRI and explain about the existence of the Moluccan diaspora in the Netherlands and lays out some of the efforts made by the Task Force Maluku IDN-NL to NKRI, as well as in maintaining the connection for the Moluccan diaspora in the Netherlands.This research is qualitative research that uses descriptive methods, techniques and data collection from the book, the interview via Email, journals, official publications and websites that are relevant. This research uses the perspective of neo-realists and the theory of multi-track diplomacy by John Mc. Donald and Louise Diamond. The object of this research is the Indonesian Diaspora Network Netherland (IDN-NL), which was set aside on a Task Force of Maluku.The results showed that the Task Force Maluku IDN -NL has a significant role as the sole representative of the entire Maluku diaspora that is in the Netherlands to maintain NKRI. This is in line with the success of the cooperation in the field of environment and health SSVA as well as the presence of circular open letter provided by TF Maluku to three College will conduct cooperation to hold the seminar "Beta Maluku Mau Maju " with the RMS in the Netherlands.Key Words : IDN-NL, Moluccas Task Force, Moluccan Diaspora, Role.

Abstract

This research aims to determine strategies PT.Suzuki Indomobil Motor in exporting Suzuki Address to European based policy euro 4 emission standards.This research included into descriptive research and the research method used was a case study, which takes an object to be studied by focusing on a single issue. Data collection techniques used by the author is the study of literature sourced from books, journals, documents and a valid website. The data in this study apply qualitative analysis techniques with deductive writing techniques. The perspective used in this research is a liberal perspective, while his theory is the theory of absolute advantage.Results from the research showed that the policy of the euro emission standards contained in the European motorcycle market influence, so as not to carelessly motorcycle Europe as be exported and marketed. Marketing strategy undertaken by PT.Suzuki Indomobil Motor to penetrate the European market under the policy by producing Suzuki Address. Suzuki Address is a scooter-type motorcycle products with international standard specifications so that it can qualify contained in the policy of the euro 4 emission standards.Keywords: Suzuki Address, Product, Skutik

Abstract

This study analyzes of how Tour de Ijen in cooperation with the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale / International Cycling Union) can increase tourism and economic development in Banyuwangi. Tour de Ijen is the official cycling championships of the UCI (Union Cycliste International) which is held every year in Banyuwangi . Championship was first held in 2012. This is a long-distance road racing is generally held around November to December and lasts for 4 days . Tour De Ijen is as a means of publicity and promotion (media campaign) Banyuwangi to national, regional and international levels. Abstract

This is research aims to explain the interest of Indonesian government published policy on quota import restriction of wheat flour. The government purpose of this policy is to protect the domestic industry by applying this quota restriction system domestic industry can compete with import products. The countries that applied quota import restriction are Turki, Srilanka and Ukraina. This policy created based on the regulation from minister of commerse republic of Indonesian with number 23/M-DAG/PER/4/2014.The theories used in this research is foreign policy theory the author used merchantilisme approach and nation-state level analyze. Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official documents and websites that support the hyphotesis.The results of this research shows that there is on economic politic interest in that quota import restriction. This policies made to provide assisteance and profit to the domestic industry, because with this policy the import products are no longer flooded of domestic market and domestic industry can be compete with import products.Keywords: policy on quota import restriction flour, flour protection of trade order

Abstract

Cocaine become one of the highest demand of illegal drugs in the world. Cocaine development began from Andean Mountain which include Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. The biggest market for this type of drugs are in East Europe, Latin America, and South East Asia. The people like buying cocaine because it is easy to consume. The consumer also does not need much time to feel the effect. Cocaine can destroy the human body such as lung, liver, brain tissue, and panchreas.This research uses International Organization theory of Umar S. Bakhri. Qualitative method and library research are applied in this research. The sources of information that used in this research are taken from book, journal, news, and internet.This research explains the efforts of UNODC as international organization to reduce cocaine’s development particulary in Peru. There are some hypothesis’ to describe the efforts which implemented by UNODC. This research also describes the development of cocaine growth year per year after the intervention from UNODC. The results of this research indicate that UNODC’s efforts can reduce the cocaine growth in Peru.Keywords: UNODC, cocaine, Peru, efforts, eradication

Abstract

This research analyzed the motivation of PT. Pindad entering the arms market area in Jordan in 2016-2017. Jordan became a relatively stable area in the Middle East despite being among conflicting nations. Jordan is the entrance to the arms market in the Middle East. It is considered of Pindad, LCC. as an opportunity to develop the Indonesian armaments industry towards a larger international trade sector in the Middle East area.This research uses descriptive research method of analysis and historical analysis. Some of the data obtained comes from books, journals, articles, newspapers, internet and other media. In this study also uses neo liberal perspective, the theory of competitive advantage, used of international trade concepts and level of group analysis in looking at the cases studied. Pindad, LCC. as a multinational cooperation and Jordan as one of the International actors.Participation of PT.Pindad in Special Operations Forces and Exhibition held in Jordan is a big step for the Indonesian arms industry. Pindad, LCC. was able to enter the arms industry in Jordan. This is marked by a follow-up meeting between Pindad, LCC. and the Jordanian government. Cooperation relationship between Pindad, LCC. and Jordan became a new breakthrough for the marketing of products made by Pindad, LCC. to enter into the arms market area in the Middle East.Keywords: PT. Abstract

This research is the study of diplomacy and strategy analyzes about Indonesia and Iceland on cooperation in geothermal energy development in 2009-2014. The purpose of this research is Indonesia as fossil fuel users are faced with the depletion of oil reserves of Indonesia due to increasing needs of Indonesia society.This makes the Indonesian government seek and develop new energy sources such us geothermal energy, so cooperation with Iceland which has succesfully in developed geothermal energy to tackle national energy security.This research used qualitative methods which is done by explaining the case based on existing facts. The techniques used to collects data to study the case to library research in the form of journals, books, official documents, report, magazine, paper, and website. The theoretical framework applied in this research are neorealism perspective, national interest concept, nation-state analysis level and decision making theory.The result of this describes the forms of cooperation between Indonesia and Iceland in geothermal energy development is to include the exploration, exploitation, the use of geothermal energy and geothermal dispatch experts to Indonesia to study Iceland regarding geothermal energy development and investments.Keywords :Cooperation, Energy, Geothermal, Development, Indonesia, Iceland

Abstract

This research explaining about humanitarian intervention of United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Syria Arab Republic conflict that began in 2011. Syria president, Bashar al-Assad protested by Syrian in March of 2011. Assad government used arm forced to handle the protester which led conflict started to blow up. Since the conflict began Syrian children faced situations that risk their right. Children were killed shot by gun, explosive shelling, detention and executions, deprivated by medical serviced and others. Conflict itself affect children mental health and in need of phycosocial service. Syrian children have limited acces for their basic need.This research use Pluralism perspective of International Relations. Pluralism believe state is not the only actor in international world. This research is also guide by international organization theory and role concept. Fact, data, arguments, and theorical framework of this research formulate by using qualitative description.UNICEF has keep it focus on violation of Syirian children’s right during the conflict and the effect of the humanitarian crisis to the children. UNICEF operate programes such children protection, work with other humanitarian actors for Syrian Humanitarian Respon Plan, suggest No lost Generation inititative in education sector and complete by humanitarian action in Health, WASH and Non Food Item sectors.
