Abstract

Metode penelitian quasi-experimental dengan desain two group posttest with control group.

Abstract

There are many determinants of juvenile delinquency, one of them is technology. Technology is an integral part of modern society. However, misuse and uncontrolled use of technology may lead to negative impacts, one of which is juvenile delinquency. The objective of the study was to develop a determinant model of juvenile delinquency elicited from a path analysis. It was an observational study with a cross-sectional design. The sample size was 295 adolescents aged 12-19 years, consisting of adolescents at school and in the Juvenile Detention Centre (JDC). The data were taken a simple random sampling technique.. The analysis used Structural Equation Modelling. The determinants, which had a direct influence on juvenile delinquency were technology, peers, and lifestyle. Technology played a central role as the determinant that directly affected juvenile delinquency as many as 2.03 (203%). Digital technology may threaten adolescents as it can create and increase their delinquent behavior if its use is not controlled. The use of technology by adolescents needs to be supervised by parents and teachers together with nurses in community-based health practice.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a global public health problem characterized by high mortality and prevalence. One type of pharmacological treatment for diabetes mellitus is insulin injection therapy. Experience in performing self-administered insulin injection therapy is still found obstacles that must be considered so as not to affect the effectiveness of insulin injection therapy. This study aims to determine the experience of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in carrying out insulin self-injection therapy. The research design used qualitative methods and data collection was carried out in the UPT Puskesmas Sukorejo and Sananwetan areas of Blitar City and the data collection time was carried out in March 2024. The data were analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data in the form of transcripts and described descriptively. The research results showed that all participants had fulfilled the cognitive aspects as evidenced by knowing the definition and type of insulin used. In the affective aspect, it was stated that all participants felt comfortable and felt healthier when carrying out insulin injection therapy but there were mental problems when diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and when injecting insulin themselves. In the psychomotor aspect, all participants have performed insulin injection skills correctly but there are some mistakes that must be considered.

Abstract

Work fatigue in operating room nurses is a critical issue that affects nurse performance and patient safety. Nurses who are exhausted show symptoms such as reduced activity levels, decreased motivation, sleep disturbances and difficulty concentrating. This condition has an impact on the quality of work of operating room nurses and is dangerous for patients. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between work fatigue and sleep quality among operating room nurses. This quantitative study utilized a correlational design, involving 20 respondents selected through a total sampling technique, comprising all operating room nurses at Karsa Husada Hospital Batu. Data analysis was conducted using a Spearman Rank Correlational test. The study found moderate levels of work fatigue and poor sleep quality among the participants. There is a significant relationship between work fatigue and sleep quality, with a p-value of 0.001 and r = 0.682, indicating a strong and positive correlation. This means that increased work fatigue resulting in poor sleep quality. Excessive activity in operating room nurses leads to work fatigue, resulting in poor sleep quality. It is recommended that operating room management adjust shift schedules according to worker capacity and provide adequate rest periods to reduce fatigue and improve sleep quality

Abstract

Nurses in the operating room feel that they lack concentration in carrying out surgery because fatigue during emergency operations can result in increased work stress. The process of adaptation is a way that affects behavior in managing stress. The purpose of the study was to prove that there is a relationship between the ability of the adaptation process according to Callista Roy's theory in nurses with work stress in the operating room of Mardi Waluyo Hospital Blitar. This research method is quantitative using a cross-sectional design. The study sample was 28 nurses in the operating room with the total sampling technique. The independent variable of adaptability of the adaptation process was measured with the questionnaire sheet and the dependent variable of work stress was measured with the DASS 42 questionnaire sheet. Data analysis using Spearman test. The research results show that the ability of the adaptation process was mostly moderate in 17 people (60.7%) and work stress was almost half that of normal stress in 12 people (42.9%). The conclusion is there is a significant relationship between the ability of the adaptation process and nurses' work stress with a p-value of 0.001≤0.05 meaning that there is a significant relationship between the ability of the adaptation process with work stress in nurses in the operating room, the direction of the relationship from r count -0.577* is strongly correlated with the direction of negative relationships, meaning that the increasing adaptability the lower the level of work stress.
