Abstract

Financial management has an important role in a small family. Many mistakes made in the conduct of investment by a family, it rose doubts in investing. It is necessary to understand to many criterias, so it can be determined the type of investment that appropriate with the family financial conditions. The method used in this research is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP is used in order to reduce subjectivity of decision-makers. The alternatives in this study are Savings, Gold Investment, Stocks, Insurance, and Property. To optimize the family's investment, it is necessary to make a ranking priority. The ranking was based on five criterias: Economic of Family, Benefit Investment, Operational, Legal, and Syariah Aspect. Based on the alternatives andcriteria and also sub-criteria, the decision of hierarchical model were created. According to experts, the comparison between four criterias and sub-criterias were assessed. The comparison was then tested for consistency. Data were processed using Expert Choice software version 11. The final result is priority ranking of the purchasing property investment with a weight point of 0,313.

Abstract

In urban spatial planning, the Local Government prioritizes land use to support planning development. The use of available land in an area must be adjusted to the function. So far, sometimes in an area the use of available land in an area does not fit with its function. Therefore, in this research will be determined the priority and ranking of land use by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Ranking is based on four aspect criterias: social demography, economic, spatial and regional plan (RTRW), and environmental aspect. Based on the alternatives and criteria and also subcriteria, the decision hierarchy model is made. Then it will be assessed for the comparison between criterias and subcriterias and their consistency value. The result is achieved by using Expert Choice software version 11 and analysis, it showed that the main priority of land allocation in Sidoarjo regency was used as agricultural land (31.9%).

Abstract

Kebutuhan energi listrik dari tahun ke tahun semakin meningkat seiring dengan naiknya jumlah populasi manusia tetapi hal tersebut berbanding terbalik dengan sumber daya fosil yang semakin lama semakin habis karena terus di exploitasi ­ untuk sumber pembangkitan.. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sumber energi baru terbarukan untuk mencegah habisnya bahan bakar fosil tersebut, maka pada penelitian ini membahas tentang pembangkit energi listrik yang bersumber dari gelombang laut.Untuk mengkonversikan gelombang laut menjadi energi listrik digunakan  Oscillating Water Column (O.W.C). yang memiliki dua model yaitu Kubus dan Piramid. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Computational Fluid Dynamic(C.F.D). didapatkan hasil simulasi energi potensial dan daya listrik.Untuk model kubus dan piramid besar energi potensial minimal di bulan Maret masing-masing 353.580 joule dan 2.332.625 joule. Dan besar energi potensial maksimal di bulan September masing-masing  11.550.000 joule  dan 8.057.232 joule. Sedangkan daya listrik minimalnya sebesar 768,963 KW dan 822,149 KW, dan maksimalnya 1.333,204KW dan 994,869 KW.

Abstract

One of the disturbances in the transformer at the South Surabaya Substation is a short circuit, this disturbance causes an increase in the flow of electric current to a large extent resulting in heat on the transmission line and damage to the electric power system equipment so protection is needed. One type of equipment that needs to be protected is a transformer using a differential relay. In this study, the process of determining the relay settings was used using a numerical process and compared with the genetic algorithm(AG)method. In the AG process, the targeted optimization values are the current values of IsettandId. The results of the two processes are compared with the existing conditions to determine the resulting acceleration of the trip relay response. The trip response acceleration of each differential relay from the AG results shows an acceleration value of 0.088s, 0.047s, and 0.047s to the existing conditions while the numerical process shows an acceleration of the trip process of 0.083s, 0.045s, and 0.045s to the existing conditions. The results of the AG optimization show that the acceleration response is the best compared to the numerical process

Abstract

Algoritma apriori merupakan salah satu algoritma klasik data mining yang dapat mempelajari aturan asosiasi, mencari pola hubungan antar satu item dengan item yang lainya dalam suatu dataset, pola hubungan atau kombinasi adalah suatu hal yang penting dalam menentukan strategi penjualan. Masalah yang sering terjadi perusahaan atau toko tidak mengetahui kombinasi item tersebut, tidak ada program yang mendukung untuk menunjukkan frekuensi dari itemset yang dibeli secara berkala. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah menemukan kombinasi itemset pada setiap transaksi yang terjadi dengan nilai confidence yang tinggi, sehingga bisa di pastikan bahwa itemset tersebut adalah item yang sering di beli oleh pelanggan. Manfaat yang bisa diambil perusahaan atau toko adalah mendapatkan hasil kombinasi dari dataset yang sudah di sediakan untuk di lakukan pengujian. Dari pengujian yang sudah dilakukan menggunakan minimum confidence 60%, dengan nilai minimum support maksimal 6 bisa menghsilkan 3 kombinasi item 100% minimum support maksimal 7 bisa menghasilkan 2 kombinasi item 100%.

Abstract

A vehicle routing problem (VRP) is a problem in finding the most optimal route with the addition of a constraint. PT. Adiguna Gasindo is one of the LPG gas agents who needs help in shipping to agents, the problem is that there is a limit to the amount of LPG cargo that can be transported. In this research, we will solve the LPG delivery problem by optimizing distance and cost. The Clarke and Wright Savings Method, commonly known as the Saving Matrix, will be implemented to complete VRP. In this study, the distance approaches are the nearest insert and nearest neighbor. The test scenarios were carried out using three types of vehicles with different capacities, namely small (225 kg), medium (275 kg), and large (480 kg). The results obtained will be compared with the actual results (routes done) due to validation. From the results of 90 different scenarios, the results obtained by vehicles with large loads are those of vehicles that get the most optimal route in terms of distance and cost. The saving matrix will be more optimal if it is done by adding the nearest insert or nearest neighbor technique.

Abstract

One of the advantages of solar cells is their ability to generate electricity without creating noise or air pollution. However, they have the disadvantage of increasing temperature due to continuous exposure to solar radiation, thereby decreasing solar cell efficiency. A solution to mitigate this effect is a cooling system for solar cells. Cooling methods for solar cells consist of active and passive methods. Active cooling methods for solar cells require power consumption, necessitating analysis and evaluation of their efficiency in practical applications. This research analyzed the power efficiency of a cooling system using a water pump, peltier, and fan. The power measurements generated by the cooled solar cell produced a power efficiency of 8.64%, compared to a solar cell without cooling. Meanwhile, the average power efficiency over six data collections was 7.82%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a system for monitoring wind speed and direction on the Suramadu Bridge using an SMS Gateway based on a microcontroller. The system is designed to monitor wind conditions in real time and provide accurate information to users. Wind speed and direction sensors are installed on the bridge and connected to a microcontroller. Data obtained from the sensors is processed by the microcontroller and sent via an SMS Gateway for user access. Testing is conducted to ensure the system accuracy in measuring wind speed and direction, as well as its ability to deliver timely information via SMS. The results show that this system is effective in monitoring wind conditions on the Suramadu Bridge with adequate accuracy and accessibility of information through the SMS Gateway. This research contributes to the development of environmental monitoring systems that can be used in risk management and infrastructure security.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing need for fuel consumption is not in line with the diminishing availability of fossil fuels. At every rice mill, there will always be a pile, even mountains of husks, which are getting higher and higher. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the management of rice husk waste into briquettes, which can be a solution that can convert agricultural waste into fuel with a fairly good conversion efficiency. The method used in this research is the carbonization method. The carbonization or charcoal process is the process of converting raw materials into black carbon by burning in a closed space with limited or minimal air. In the testing process, the researcher used 2 factors to determine the results of the two samples, namely the physical factor, namely the factor used to test the physical sample and the combustion effectiveness factor, namely the factor used to determine how long it took to burn the sample.
