Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang “Uji konsentrasi paclobutrazol dan pemangkasan pucuk pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas blackie)” telah dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 16 Oktober 2020 sampai 16 Januari 2021 di Desa Donohudan, Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji konsentrasi paclobutrazol terhadap pangkasan pucuk untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas blackie). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) yang disusun secara faktorial. Perlakuan terdiri dari 2 faktor, masing-masing kombinasi perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Adapun kedua faktor tersebut adalah : (1) pemangkasan pucuk (P) dengan 3 (tiga) taraf yaitu : tanpa pemangkasan (P0), pemangkasan 10 cm (P1), pemangkasan 20 cm (P2), (2) pemberian konsentrasi paclobutrazol (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu : tanpa pemberian konsentrasi paclobutrazol (K0), pemberian konsentrasi paclobutrazol 50 ppm (K1), pemberian konsentrasi paclobutrazol 100 ppm (K2), pemberian paclobutrazol 150 ppm (K3). Kedua faktor perlakuan tersebut dikombinasikan sehingga diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Ragam, yang dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan’s Mutiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan konsentrasi paclobutrazol dan pemangkasan pucuk berpengaruh terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman. Perlakuan tanpa pemangkasan pucuk dan konsentrasi paclobutrazol 150 ppm (P0K3) memberikan hasil tertinggi pada berat umbi yaitu sebesar 666,67 gram

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the interest of shahibul maal to save in the Sharia Cooperative Permata. Analytical technique in this research consist of instrument test: validity test and reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and R² test. Based on the results of this study can be seen that the trust, quality of service and religiulitas positively affect the interest of shahibul maal to save in sharia cooperative. Result of t test show that trust, service quality and religiulity have positive and significant effect to interest of shahibul maal to save in syariah cooperative. Adjusted R square test results obtained results of 0.418 which means the variability of interest shahibul maal to save in cooperatives can be explained by the variable trust, service quality and religiulity 41.8% while the remaining 58.2% explained by other variables that do not participate observed. For example processes, people and products etc. The most dominant variable affecting the interest of shahibul maal to save in sharia cooperative is trust, hence effort to increase interest of shahibul maal to save in syariah cooperative need to emphasize trust, through socialization and various activities.Keywords: trust, quality of service, religiulitas and Interests shahibul maal to save.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai aktivitas antiinflamasi keladi belau (Caladium bicolor (W. Ait) Vent.) terhadap enzim siklooksigenase (COX) secara in vitro telah dilakukan. Aktivitas antiinflamasi secara in vitro terhadap enzim COX ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode TMPD (N,N,N’,N’-tetrametil-p-fenilendiamin) secara spektrofotometri. Enzim COX yang diuji meliputi enzim COX-1 dan COX-2. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diketahui ekstrak batang keladi belau mempunyai aktivitas antiinflamasi dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 250,66 ppm terhadap COX-1 dan 255,27 ppm terhadap COX-2. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak tersebut lebih banyak menghambat enzim COX-1.

Abstract

Pakan dibutuhkan oleh ayam ras petelur, namun dalam pakan tersebut dapat mengandung unsur logam seperti timbal, besi, magnesium, dan lain–lain. Hal ini akan berpengaruh terhadap produk ternak yang dihasilkan dari ayam tersebut. Jika unsur–unsur logam tidak terkontrol akan memberikan efek negatif untuk manusia yang mengonsumsi telur tersebut seperti kanker dan penyakit lainnya. Untuk mengetahui unsur–unsur logam yang terdapat di dalam pakan, dilakukan pengujian dengan metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA). Sampel uji diperoleh dari dua distributor berbeda yaitu sampel A dan sampel B yang terletak di daerah Jakarta. Dari pengujian tersebut didapatkan hasil, logam Pb (sampel A = 0,0276 mg/kg dan sampel B = Tidak Terdeteksi), logam Fe (sampel A = 134,79 mg/kg dan sampel B = 117,9 mg/kg), logam Mg (sampel A = 413,6 mg/kg dan sampel B = 363,7 mg/kg). Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pakan tersebut mengandung logam Pb tetapi masih di bawah nilai ambang batas, sedangkan kandungan logam Fe dan Mg nilainya berada di atas nilai ambang batas yang direkomendasikan oleh SNI 0,05 mg/kg.

Abstract

Senyawa caboxamycin merupakan antibiotik baru yang termasuk dalam kelompok benzoxazole yang diproduksi oleh Streptomyces sp. NTK 937 (marine strain). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme penghambatan senyawa caboxamycin terhadap Mycobacterium tuberculosis polyketide synthase 13 (Pks13) secara in silico dengan metode molecular docking. Tahapan molecular docking dimulai dengan optimasi struktur senyawa caboxamycin dan streptomisin (kontrol positif) 3D, preparasi protein Pks13, validasi metode, serta docking senyawa caboxamycin dan streptomisin yang teroptimasi pada protein Pks13. Hasil docking protein Pks13 pada ligan standar adalah -144,0 kkal/mol, pada streptomisin adalah -101,7 kkal/mol, dan pada caboxamycin adalah -75,9 kkal/mol. Streptomisin dan caboxamycin memiliki ikatan hidrogen yang sama terhadap residu asam amino protein Pks13 yaitu ASN-1640 dan HIS-1664, sehingga caboxamycin memiliki mekanisme kerja dalam menghambat Pks13 pada M.tuberculosis secara in silico. Senyawa caboxamycin memiliki mekanisme molekuler dalam menghambat protein Pks13 yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya pembentukkan ikatan hidrogen, sehingga senyawa caboxamycin berpotensi sebagai antituberkulosis secara in silico.

Abstract

Hyperpigmentation is an event that occurs due to excessive production of skin pigment. Skin color is strongly influenced by the presence of melanin, where the presence of melanin is strongly influenced by the enzyme tyrosinase. Taro leaf (Typhonium flagelliforme (Lodd.) Blume) are one of the plants have flavonoid compounds used as antioxidants and tyrosinase inhibitors. The aim of this study was to test the ethanol extract of taro leaf as a tyrosinase inhibitor. Taro leaf in this study were obtained through an extraction process using 96% ethanol solvent by maceration method. The thick ethanol extract of taro leaf was tested for phytochemical screening, total flavonoid levels, and tyrosinase inhibition test. The method used for tyrosinase inhibition test was enzymatic method in vitro. The results of this study indicated that there was a total flavonoid compound content of 0.7378% (b/b) and the inhibitor activity can be seen from the IC50 value for the diphenolation reaction (L-DOPA substrate) which was 13.307 mg/mL. This value was greater when compared with 0.093 mg/mL of phenolic acid, so that the ethanol extract of taro leaf has the potential to inhibit tyrosinase activity.

Abstract

Rhodamine B is a dangerous colorant and is prohibited for use in various cosmetic products. The aim of this study was to analyze Rhodamine B in lip tint cosmetics, using the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system. Quantitative determination of Rhodamine B was carried out on 8 samples consisting of 4 BPOM registered samples and 4 non BPOM registered samples. The samples were taken at the Cakung traditional market with a randomized sampling method. The quantitative analysis of Rhodamine B by HPLC was carried out with a C18 stationary phase and a mobile phase of a mixture of acetonitrile and diammonium hydrogen phosphate (80:20); the sample injection volume was 20 µl and the eluent flow rate was 0.71 mL/minute. The results showed that Rhodamine B was not detected in the 8 lip tint samples tested.

Abstract

Sweeteners are food additives in the form of natural sweeteners and artificial sweeteners that give a sweet taste to food products. The use of sweeteners that are not in accordance with the limits set can have a negative impact on health. This study aims to determine whether the levels of artificial sweeteners in the form of saccharin and cyclamate in children's supplements have met the requirements set by BPOM according to the Decree of the Head of BPOM No. 12 of 2014 and Circular Letter No. HK.04.01.42.421.12.17.1666 of 2017 concerning Limits. Maximum Permitted Use of Artificial Sweeteners in Traditional Medicinal Products and Food Supplements. Three samples of children's supplements were taken randomly at several drug stores. The research method used for the determination of saccharin levels using HPLC and the determination of cyclamate levels using UV-VIS spectrophotometer The results of the analysis of saccharin levels are; sample (1084) = 463.02 mg/kg, sample (1085) = 363.01 mg/kg, and sample (1114) = 652.61 mg/kg. As for the levels of cyclamate obtained, sample content (1084) = 763.34 mg/kg, sample (1085) = 1279.87 mg/kg, and sample (1114) = 436.07 mg/kg. In conclusion, all samples tested for saccharin levels met the requirements for the maximum limit of 1000 mg/kg set by BPOM. Meanwhile, the sample (1085) tested for cyclamate did not meet the requirements for the maximum limit of 1250 mg/kg set by BPOM.

Abstract

Vocabulary is the basic component of English that must be learned by students who use English as second language. Mastering English vocabulary will help the students to improve four language skills such as listening, reading, speaking, and writing. To master vocabulary, the students can read English book, watch English movie, or listen to English songs. In this digital era, students can enrich their vocabulary through social media. One of the popular social media is Instagram through reels feature. Reels can help students to gain and to understand the vocabulary because many Indonesian content creators share their knowledge about English and explain it using bahasa Indonesia clearly. The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of using reels on Instagram to enhance students’ vocabulary mastery at the first-grade students of MAN 1 Madiun. The researcher was formulated the research problem as follows: “Is there any significant difference on students’ vocabulary mastery before and after being taught by using reels on Instagram at the firs- grade students of MAN 1 Madiun?”. In this study, the researcher was using quantitative approach with pre-experimental research method. The population of this study was the first-grade students of MAN 1 Madiun. The sample of this study were 35 students which selected by using purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this study is vocabulary test consist of 20 questions for short answer and 10 questions for true-or false. The test was given twice in pre-test and post-test. After conducting the both test, the researcher analysed the data using SPSS 16.0 with the formula paired sample t-test to know the difference of mean scores of the pre-test and post-test.
