Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena masih terdapat siswa yang kurang mampu dalam menyusun sebuah kata menjadi sebuah karangan/cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan linguistik dengan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V di SDN 3 Lebakagung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan jumlah populasi yang terdiri dari 24 orang siswa, dimana teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan angket dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, kecerdasan linguistik dan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V di SDN 3 Lebakagung keduanya berkategori sedang dengan frekuensi yang sama yaitu sebesar 66.6%.Pengujian korelasi kecerdasan linguistik dan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi diperoleh sebesar 0.630, yang termasuk dalam kategori “Kuat”, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.630 atau 36.69% pada taraf koefisien 5%.Sehingga terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan linguistik dengan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V SDN 3 Lebakagung.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide insight into knowledge about education through local cultural wisdom in Girimakmur Village, Malangbong District, by providing insight into knowledge about the importance of education from elementary to secondary education. Problems that arise in these areas are resolved in three stages of activity, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of community service activities show the level of success with an indication of the similar mindset of educators in the Malangbong District environment, there is a positive response from service participants related to an understanding of education that must synergize with the local life of the local area and most people have understood the concept of developing local culture which can be used as as an icon of community development

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media film pendek terhadap keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Wanaraja pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental tipe one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pilihan ganda yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan serta dokumentasi selama pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji-t, dan normalized gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 78,728 lebih besar daripada t tabel 1,708, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media film pendek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menyimak siswa. Dengan demikian, media film pendek dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is used in software engineering classrooms and how it can foster students’ English-speaking competence. This research employed a qualitative descriptive designing involving 40 eleventh-grade students from the Software Engineering (Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak) program and one English teacher at a vocational high school in Garut, Indonesia.  Data were collected through classroom observations involving 40 students and one teacher, followed by semi-structured interviews with six selected students and the teacher. The findings revealed that PjBL was used through systematic stages, including starting with essential question, designing a project, scheduling, monitoring, assessing outcomes, and evaluating the experiences. The analysis reveals that PjBL functioned as a discourse-construction pedagogy, fostering students’ cohesion through the use of linking devices and improving coherence through logical organization of ideas during project presentations. Although some students still relied on memorization and faced vocabulary limitations and anxiety, continuous teacher scaffolding and feedback supported their gradual improvement. Thus, PjBL can foster students’ English-speaking competence by systematically strengthening discourse competence. However, as this study was limited to one vocational classroom with a small sample and focused only on discourse competence, further research with larger and more diverse participants and broader speaking competence aspects is needed to examine the wider applicability and long-term impact of PjBL.
