Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak adanya perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction dengan model pembelajaran discovery pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran direct instruction dan model pembelajaran discovery. Variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X MIA SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar yang tersebar dalam 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelompok kelas eksperimen 1 dan X MIA 2 sebagai kelompok kelas eksperimen 2 dengan jumlah peserta didik masing-masing sebanyak 34 peserta didik pada kelompok kelas eksperimen 1 dan 29 peserta didik pada kelompok kelas eksperimen 2. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes hasil belajar pada materi pokok larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit yang dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis prasyarat statistik inferensial terhadap tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa data pada kelompok kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelompok kelas eksperimen 2 berdistribusi normal serta memiliki varians yang homogen. Hasil uji-t sebagai pengujian hipotesis menghasilkan thitung = 6,39 pada taraf signifikansi, α = 0,05 diperoleh ttabel= 1,67. Oleh karena itu, thitung(6,39) > ttabel(1,67), maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction dan model pembelajaran discovery pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. ABSTRACT This research is a quasi-experimental research that aims to determine the differences learning outcomes of students of class X MIA SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar who are taught using direct instruction model with discovery learning model on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution. The independent variables in this study are the direct instruction model and discovery learning model. The dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution. The population of this research are all of classes X MIA SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar which are spread over 3 classes. The research sample consisted of 2 classes, namely class X MIA 1 as the first experimental group that consist of 34 students and class X MIA 2 as the second experimental group that consist of 29 students. The research data were obtained by providing a learning outcome test of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions which were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the inferential statistical prerequisite analysis on the learning outcome test showed that the data in the first experimental group and the second experimental group are normally distributed and have homogeneous variances. Hypothesis testing using t-test resulted tcount = 6.39 and at the significance level, α = 0.05, obtained ttable = 1.67. Therefore, tcount (6.39) > ttable (1.67), then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that there is differences students learning outcomes of class X MIA SMA Plus Budi Utomo Makassar who are taught using the direct instruction model and the discovery learning model on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model discovery learning efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Pinrang (materi pokok reaksi redoks). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Pinrang yang terdiri dari tiga kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIPA 2 yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar dari rata-rata sebelum perlakuan yaitu 46 meningkat menjadi 71 dengan rata-rata gain ternormalisasi 0,67 yang artinya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Pinrang setelah menggunakan model discovery learning berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t satu sampel diperoleh thitung = 4,152 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1.699 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Berdasarkan data tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model discovery learning efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Pinrang (materi pokok reaksi redoks).

Abstract

This research is quasi-experimental research that aims to know the effect of the problem based learning model (PBL) towards the learning outcomes of the students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar on the subject matter of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution, with posttest only group design. The population is the student of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar consisting of six classes. Sample was randomly selected and X MIPA4 as the experimental class and X MIPA5 class as the control. The experimental class was taught by using the PBL model while the control class was taught with conventional learning model. The learning outcomes data is taken by giving posttest. Learning outcomes data are processed in descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistical analysis showed that experimental class has higher learning outcomes completeness than control class with 74.29% and 51.52%. The test results for inferential statistical analysis hypotheses using the Mann Whitney test with α = 0.05 obtained Zcount (5.90) > Ztable (1.64). Based on these α values, it shows that there is an effect of the PBL model on the learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar on the study of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution.

Abstract

Improper disposal of chicken intestines waste in Batu Mila Village may generate environmental nuisance and public health risks due to unmanaged dumping practices. This community service program aimed to increase housewives’ knowledge and stimulate initial readiness for behavioral change regarding the potential utilization of chicken intestines/offal waste as a raw material for liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) through a circular economy approach. The program was delivered as an educational outreach session (counseling), not a hands-on training, and was evaluated using a one-group pretest–posttest design. Knowledge was measured with a 20-item multiple-choice instrument scored on a 0–100 scale. The results indicated a substantial improvement in mean knowledge scores from 55.3 (pretest) to 86.73 (posttest), with an N-Gain of 0.731, demonstrating high effectiveness of the outreach in strengthening participants’ understanding. These findings highlight that circular economy-based counseling can function as an important pre-adoption stage to build cognitive foundations and psychosocial readiness to reduce unsafe disposal practices and consider resource recovery options for chicken intestines/offal waste. In conclusion, the outreach effectively improved knowledge as a prerequisite for behavioral change; follow-up reinforcement and medium-term evaluation are recommended to assess knowledge retention and more stable behavioral indicators. Abstract

Pembelajaran kimia yang cenderung bersifat abstrak seringkali menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang mampu mengaitkan konsep dengan kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Solving dalam konteks kewirausahaan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi hubungan mol dan massa zat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental berupa one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X1 SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung yang berjumlah 24 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 49,58 menjadi 78,33, dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar dari 29,17% menjadi 66,67% serta nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,57 dalam kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Solving dengan pendekatan kewirausahaan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran kimia yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze inclusive education based on local wisdom from a global perspective, particularly focusing on conceptual development, implementation factors, and forms of integration within educational systems. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach by searching the Scopus database within the 2015–2025 period using keywords related to culturally responsive and community-based inclusive education. From 33 identified articles, 13 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that inclusive education has evolved from an access-oriented approach to a more holistic and contextual framework. The main factors influencing implementation include pedagogical, social, cultural, leadership, and policy aspects. Furthermore, the integration of local wisdom into curriculum design, teaching practices, and community participation enhances the relevance, quality, and sustainability of educational systems. This study concludes that inclusive education based on local wisdom represents a strategic approach to addressing global educational challenges while preserving local cultural identity.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the role of parents in children’s character education in the 21st century using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The method involved identification, screening, and selection processes following the PRISMA framework, with data sourced from the Scopus database within the 2022–2026 publication range. A total of 9 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The findings indicate that parental roles are multidimensional, encompassing family environment, family structure, socioeconomic conditions, values and attitudes, parenting styles, social influence, and role modeling. Furthermore, parental influence on children’s character operates through both direct and indirect mechanisms, including family environment mediation, emotional regulation, value internalization, peer influence, and modeling processes. The study also identifies research gaps, particularly the lack of integrative approaches and limited focus on the 21st-century context. In conclusion, parents play a significant role in shaping children’s character, highlighting the need for a holistic, family-based character education approach.

Abstract

One of the reasons students are not good at science literacy is the domination of conventional teacher-centered learning models. Science literacy can be enhanced only by embracing other models that are centered on the scientific process, for example, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This study examines analytically the effect of the PBL model on science literacy skills of grade XII students in SMAN 6 Bulukumba in the 2024/2025 academic year, specifically redox reactions. Applying the quasi-experimental design with the posttest control group, the study utilized a comprehensive measurement of science literacy according to the context, knowledge, and competence aspects. Test data were contrasted employing both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Results of homogeneity and normality testing supported that the two groups were randomly drawn from homogeneous populations, although the data were not normally distributed. Thus, hypothesis testing was carried out employing the Mann-Whitney U test, with a Zcount value greater than Ztable (1.77 > 1.64). These results indicate that the Problem-Based Learning model improves grade XII students of SMAN 6 Bulukumba adequately in terms of their chemistry literacy skills, i.e., in the field of redox reactions.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tutor sebaya dalam model discovery learning terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 25 Bone. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini tutor sebaya dalam model discovery learning. Variabel terikatnya adalah aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 25 Bone yang tersebar dalam tiga kelas.Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X MIPA I sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik 30 orang dan X MIPA II sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik 26 orang yang ditentukan dengan cara teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes hasil belajar pada materi pokok reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji-tdanuij Mann-Whitney. Persentase ketuntasan indikator kelompok eksperimen 83,3 % lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol dengan persentase 57,7 %. Pengujian hipotesis untuk aktivitas belajar menghasilkan t¬hitung = 3,68 pada taraf signifikan, α = 0.05 diperoleh ttabel = 1,68. Karena thitung >ttabel, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh tutor sebaya dalam model discovery learning terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 25 Bone. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesis untuk hasil belajar menghasilkan Zhitung=2,84 pada taraf signifikan, α = 0.05 diperoleh Ztabel= 1,64..   ABSTRACT This researchis a quasi-experimental aimed to know the effect of Peer Tutors discovery learning Model on activity and learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 25 Bone. Independent variable in this research is peer tutors and discovery learning model. Dependent variable is activity and learning outcomes students on subject matter of redox. Population in this research is all student class X MIPA SMA Negeri 25Bone. MIPA which consist of thre classes namely class X MIPA I until X MIPA II. The sample in this research consist of two classes that are X MIPA I as the experimentgroup X MIPA II as the control group with 30 student in experiment group and 26 student in control group which selected by simple random sampling. The research data are obtained by observation sheet learning activities and test of learning outcomes in subject matter of redox which analysed by t-test and Mann-Whitney test. The indicator of the experiment 83,3 % which accepted control of the 57,7 %.The result of activities learning hypothesis show t¬count = 3.68 at α = 0,05 obtainedt-table=1.68. Therefore, t¬count>t¬table which H1 accepted and H0 rejected which means there is an effect of discovery learning model on learning activities of student class X MIPA SMA Negeri 25Bone on redox. The result of learning outcomes hypotesis show Zhitung= 2,84 at α = 0,05 obtained Ztable =1.64. Therefore Zcount> Ztable which H1 accepted and H0 rejected which means there is an effect of peer tutors discovery learning model on learning outcomes of student calss X MIPA SMA Negeri 25Bone on redox.
