Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from the student creativity. The learning model compared were discovery, group investigation and conventional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. The population was the students of Junior High School in Surakarta city on academic year 2012/2013. The samples of this research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. The samples consist of 281 students who were divided into 94 students in the first experiment class, 94 students in the second experiment class, and 93 students in the control class. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the discovery learning model results in better learning achievement than the group investigation and conventional learning model. The group investigation learning model results in an equal learning achievement to the conventional learning model, (2) the students having high level of creativity have better learning achievement than those having medium and low levels of creativity. The students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low level of creativity, (3) on the discovery learning model, students having high creativity have better learning achievement than those having medium and low levels of creativity and students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low creativity. On the group investigation model, students in each level of creativity have the same learning achievement, (4) the students who were tought with the discovery learning model have better learning achievement than those taught with the group investigation and conventional learning model in the category of having high level of creativity. The students who were tought group investigation and conventional model results in an equal learning achievement in the category of having high level of creativity. The students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low level of creativity in each learning model.Key words: discovery, group investigation, learning achievement, and creativity

Abstract

Discovery learning is a learning that involves students in the process of mental activity through a brainstorm, to discuss, and try it yourself, so that children can learn to be independent. Resulting in the discovery-based learning problem solving is to let children discover things on their own and group investigation that emphasizes problem solving based on a debriefing activities and student participation. The classes drawn into the sample, the class as a class given control based discovery learning and problem solving one class another group investigation given learning-based problem solving. Data analysis techniques in this study using Ttes. From the results of this study concluded that: (a) In the first experiment class that implements learning model-based problem solving group investigation obtained average value of learning outcomes at 73.10 while the experimental class II implementing discovery-based learning problem solving obtained average value postest average of 66.55. (b) There are significant differences between the results of student learning in the class that implements the discovery-based learning and problem solving class that implements the learning model based problem solving group investigation. Student results in learning problem solving based group investigation better on the class that implements the model-based discovery learning problem solving. Keywords: discovery learning, group investigation, learning numerical methods,  problem solving

Abstract

The aim of this research to analyze the essence of Junior high student learning outcomes Darul Arafah is still relatively low it is seen that the value of the student learning outcomes that achieve minimum completeness criteria (KKM) is still much below the passing standard, so it is still far from what is expected. From the analysis it can be concluded as follows: 1) There is a noticeable difference the average student learning outcomes are taught using methods of collaborative learning with an average of the learning outcomes of students who are taught with methods of discovery learning on the subject of integers students in grade 7 SMP Darul Arafah Sukajawa the school 2015/2016. 2) The average results learning collaborative learning method is lower than the average student learning outcomes are taught using methods of discovery learning on the subject of integers grade students grade 7 SMP Darul Arafah Sukajawa the school 2015/2016. Kata Kunci : collaborative learning, discovery learning method, study result,

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from the student activity. Many factors influence the results of student learning, including learning system used in presenting the subject matter inappropriate, as well as the lack of students understand the concepts being taught. Based on the results of the pre-survey, retrieved the data value of the Mid Semester Even-Numbered Years Lessons 2014/2015 that of the 23 students there are 13 students who are learning or mastery of 56,52%. It takes the efforts of teachers to choose the model of learning material appropriate to each lesson. For the average activity of students obtained an increase in the activity of learning from 52,42% on cycle I became 64,2%5 in cycle II. As for the student learning outcomes there is also increased, the average results of the learn cycle I is 63,54, while on cycle II increased to 70,65 and success of the student learning at the end of the cycle reaches 81,09. It was concluded that the reciprocal teaching model, can improve the learning results of activity and grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Metro.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of teaching materials based on the application of Schoology in the course of trigonometry in the lecture. One of the hallmarks of Schoology-based teaching materials is to use the Schoology app which is one of the web-based social web pages which offers the same learning as in a class free and easy to use. Through Schoology, the management of learning is very easy. Schoology is also almost the same function with other web pages in which it offers lecturers to load materials, learning materials, structured quizzes. This research is a kind of research development. Research methodology used as follows: (1) research and information gathering, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) initial test, (5) product revision, (6) field trial, (7) field trial products, (8) product operational trials, (9) product revisions and (10) implementation. The achievement of this research is teaching materials based on Schoology which can support lecturer of trigonometry in the mathematics education program. This teaching material is feasible to use and the achievements generated in the development of teaching materials based on this schoology is to improve students' learning outcomes in trigonometric courses.Keywords: development,  teaching materials, schoology, trigonometry

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the mathematical representation ability and learning independence through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in students of class XI IPS 1 SMA N 1 Pekalongan. This type of research is a classroom action research study subjects were students of class XI IPS 1 SMA N 1 Pekalongan consisting of 25 students. This can be seen from the students' mathematical representation ability in linear program material by increasing data analysis (N-Gain) from the pre-survey to the first cycle obtained an average pre-test of 59.2 and an average post-test of 64.8 so that gain 0.30 with a percentage of 30% in the low category. Furthermore, the first cycle to the second cycle obtained an average pre-test of 64.8 and an average post-test of 77.4 so that a gain of 0.53 with a percentage of 53% in the medium category. Independence of student learning from pre-survey to the first cycle with a percentage of 54.6% increased to 65.05% with a high category. Furthermore, from cycle, I to cycle II with a percentage of 65.05% increased to 82.9% with a very high category.Keywords:Mathematical Representation, Self-regulated Learning, RME

Abstract

The entrepreneurship course in economics education already has a module as astudent reference source. The assessment used is through quizzes, UTS and UASwhich contain questions according to achievement indicators in the semesterlearning plan (RPS) where the questions only look at students' cognitive abilitiesbut cannot see affective and psychomotor levels. Lecturers do not yet have authenticassessment tools accompanied by prophetic values with the help of ICT. Thepurpose of this research is to produce authentic assessments in entrepreneurshipcourses that are valid and practical. Sampling by means of purposive sampling. Theinteractive learning video development model uses the 4D development model,namely the stages of defining the problem (define), designing (Design), developing(Develop) and disseminating (disseminate). The data analysis technique used is theanalysis of qualitative data and quantitative data. Abstract

This service aims to provide training on making frozen food to members of the Cerebral Palsy Family Forum. Families who have members with cerebral palsy often face challenges in meeting nutritional needs and the availability of food according to these conditions. In this service, we organize a series of mentoring to teach members of the Cerebral Palsy Family Forum about making frozen food. Frozen food has the advantage of being easy to store and can be prepared earlier, thus helping families with cerebral palsy in preparing healthy food more efficiently. Apart from personal consumption, frozen food can also be marketed to increase income. The stages of this service consist of data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation. The result of this service is an increase in the knowledge and skills of members of the Cerebral Palsy Family Forum in making frozen food according to the nutritional needs and conditions of cerebral palsy. It is hoped that the results of this dedication will help them earn additional income and be able to provide healthy and nutritious food for family members with cerebral palsy more efficiently.Keywords: cerebral palsy; economical; frozen food; entrepreneurshipAbstrakPengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan mengenai pembuatan frozen food kepada anggota Forum Keluarga cerebral palsy. Keluarga yang memiliki anggota dengan cerebral palsy sering menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi dan ketersediaan makanan yang sesuai dengan kondisi tersebut. Dalam pengabdian ini, kami menyelenggarakan serangkaian pendampingan untuk mengajarkan anggota Forum Keluarga cerebral palsy tentang pembuatan frozen food. Frozen food memiliki keuntungan dalam hal penyimpanan yang mudah dan dapat dipersiapkan lebih awal, sehingga membantu keluarga dengan cerebral palsy dalam mempersiapkan makanan yang sehat dengan lebih efisien. Selain untuk konsumsi pribadi, frozen food ini juga dapat dipasarkan guna menambah penghasilan. Tahapan pengabdian ini terdiri dari pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota Forum Keluarga cerebral palsy dalam pembuatan frozen food yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan nutrisi dan kondisi cerebral palsy. Diharapkan hasil pengabdian ini akan membantu mereka memperoleh penghasilan tambahan serta mampu menyediakan makanan yang sehat dan bergizi bagi anggota keluarga cerebral palsy dengan lebih efisien.Kata Kunci: cerebral palsy; ekonomi; frozen food; kewirausahaan DOI: https://doi.org/10.23960/rp/v3i1.hal.16-22
