Abstract

The leadership management mentoring program for female-headed households, implemented through the Women Empowerment School in Hutamonu Village (Tanah Wangi), Boliyohuto Subdistrict, Boalemo Regency, was designed to enhance women’s leadership capacity in managing both family and community affairs. Female-headed households often face multiple challenges, including limited decision-making power, financial constraints, and restricted participation in community development. Strengthening their leadership and management capacity is therefore essential to improving family welfare and fostering inclusive rural development. The objectives of the program were: (a) to strengthen the leadership capacity of female-headed households in managing families and communities; (b) to increase women’s awareness and abilities in decision-making and financial management; and (c) to improve the overall quality of life for women and their families in Hutamonu Village. The program was implemented through leadership training and mentoring activities, employing a survey research design with a qualitative approach, and the findings were presented in a descriptive narrative form. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both individual and collective changes. The results indicate that the program significantly improved the leadership skills of female-headed households, enhanced their awareness and decision-making capacity, and strengthened their financial management abilities. Furthermore, the program contributed to raising the quality of life for women and their families, while also increasing their participation in community development initiatives. In conclusion, the mentoring program demonstrates that targeted leadership and empowerment interventions can foster sustainable improvements in women’s capacities and promote equitable rural development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Additional Employee Income (TPP) and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Gorontalo Regency Social Service. The background of this study stems from the phenomenon of declining volume and quality of work output and low employee initiative over the past four years, indicating the need for an evaluation of factors influencing civil service performance. This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research population consisted of 30 employees, all of whom were sampled using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial t-tests, simultaneous F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) with the assistance of SPSS version 20. The results reveal that Additional Employee Income has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Similarly, Work Discipline also demonstrates a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence Employee Performance. The coefficient of determination indicates that 63.1% of the variation in Employee Performance can be explained by TPP and Work Discipline, while the remaining 36.9% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings confirm that a balance between financial incentives and enforcement of work discipline is key to improving productivity, effectiveness, and the quality of public services at the Gorontalo District Social Service. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of resilience and mindset on adaptive behavior among MSME managers in facing digital transformation in the food business sector in Gorontalo City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire, with a total sample of 54 respondents. The data analysis technique applied was multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that (1) resilience has a positive and significant effect on adaptive behavior, (2) mindset has a positive and significant effect on adaptive behavior, and (3) resilience and mindset simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on adaptive behavior. Descriptive findings based on business type indicate that the highest levels of resilience and adaptive behavior are found in restaurant businesses, while relatively lower levels are observed in bakery and pastry industries. Based on business duration, entrepreneurs who have operated longer tend to demonstrate better adaptive capabilities compared to newer businesses. This study recommends enhancing digital literacy training, strengthening entrepreneurial mindset, and providing business mentoring programs to improve the adaptive capacity of MSMEs in facing digital transformation.

Abstract

Purpose: The research examines the urgency of digital transformation, which is rapidly affecting the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. As the backbone of the local economy in Gorontalo Province, MSMEs face significant challenges in adapting to technological, market, and regulatory changes. Psychological factors such as resilience and stress management are presumed to play a crucial role in shaping the adaptive behavior of MSME managers in responding to these changes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of these two psychological variables on the adaptive behavior of MSME managers and to identify the factors that most significantly contribute to their readiness to face digital transformation.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple regression analysis on survey data from 150–200 MSME actors. The findings reveal that personal strength, social support, coping strategies, and optimism significantly influence adaptive behavior. In contrast, factors such as emotional regulation, impulse control, stress awareness, and negotiation ability do not show a meaningful effect.Findings: The resulting model explains 67.3% of the variance in change behavior, with personal strength emerging as the most dominant predictor. These findings indicate that readiness for change is more strongly determined by practical and psychological reinforcement factors rather than reflective ones. Therefore, interventions aimed at strengthening MSMEs should focus on enhancing personal resilience, developing coping strategies, optimizing social support, and fostering an optimistic outlook.
