Abstract

Background Hospitals are health service facilities that have the most complex, capital-intensive and technology-intensive facilities and running hospitals tends to require expensive technology and large amounts of capital. The benefits of using electronic medical records are not only administrative benefits. The benefit felt by doctors and health workers is the ease of accessing patient information which ultimately helps in making clinical decisions. The use of electronic medical records has the potential to provide great benefits for health services such as basic and referral (hospital) service facilities. One of the benefits felt after using electronic medical records is increasing the availability of electronic patient records in hospitals. This is also beneficial for patients because it increases efficiency in the health care process. The aim of this community service activity is so that hospitals can implement electronic medical records to improve the quality and efficiency of health services. The method used in this service activity is outreach regarding the use of electronic medical records. The result of this community service activity is that users of electronic medical records in hospitals better understand how to use ERM and are able to improve the quality and efficiency of health services.

Abstract

Ringkasan: Latar Belakang: Digitalisasi rekam medis elektronik (RME) menjadi kebutuhan di rumah sakit, meningkatkan mutu layanan namun implementasinya belum sepenuhnya optimal dan berdampak pada variabilitas kepuasan pengguna. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan antara penggunaan RME terhadap kepuasan pengguna sebagai dasar kebijakan pengembangan sistem di rumah sakit swasta. Metode: Studi analitik cross-sectional terhadap 132 responden (dokter, perawat, radiologi, laboratorium, kasir) dari lima RS dengan kuesioner HOT Fit, analisis univariat dan bivariat (uji Chi Square, r). Hasil: Penggunaan RME kategori baik (50,76%) berkorelasi kuat dengan tingkat kepuasan (r=0,609; p<0,05); variabel human, organisasi, teknologi, dan manfaat memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan penggunaan RME. Simpulan: Penggunaan RME berdampak pada peningkatan kepuasan dan efektivitas kerja, khususnya pada pengguna yang aktif dan telah mendapat pelatihan terstandar. Saran: Rumah sakit perlu mempertahankan, mengembangkan fitur sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, dan melakukan pelatihan berkala agar optimalisasi kepuasan tercapai.

The results show that the ease of application achieved a score of 65.9%, suitability of content 69.4%, completeness reached a score of 58.8%, suitability of desired knowledge needs 52.9% and help make it easier to understand maintenance science reached 70%. Simpulan Aplikasi SBCMomBoby dapat dengan mudah The application is used, appropriate for baby care content, comprehensive, and facilitates understanding of baby care knowledge. However, it does not fully meet the desires of postpartum mothers regarding certain knowledge that has not been included in the SBC MomBaby application.

Abstract

Percepatan digitalisasi layanan kesehatan di Indonesia mendorong implementasi Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) di berbagai fasilitas kesehatan. Namun, adopsi RME seringkali menambah beban kerja perawat yang berdampak pada tingkat kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kepuasan perawat dalam penggunaan RME di unit rawat jalan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 22 perawat dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisa data menggunakan spearman rank (Rho) dengan ketentuan α < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara beban kerja dan kepuasan perawat (r = -0,724; p = 0,000), yang berarti semakin tinggi beban kerja, semakin rendah kepuasan perawat terhadap penggunaan RME. Temuan ini mendukung teori NASA-TLX dan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi peningkatan efektivitas sistem RME dan kesejahteraan kerja perawat di layanan rawat jalan.

Abstract

The use of electronic medical records (EMR) in hospitals has become a primary focus in efforts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of healthcare services. This study aims to identify the relationship between EMR usage and the satisfaction level of healthcare workers at Hospital X. The research method employed is a quantitative study with an analytical approach and a cross-sectional design, involving 55 healthcare workers using total sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires that measured EMR usage and healthcare worker satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The analysis results show that 44 respondents (80%) categorized their EMR usage as good, and 42 respondents (76.4%) were categorized as satisfied with their work. The chi-square test results yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), indicating a strong relationship between the use of electronic medical records and healthcare worker satisfaction at Hospital X, particularly in terms of ease of access to information and the reduction of errors in medical record-keeping. This study concludes that although EMR provides significant benefits for improving the quality of healthcare services, system improvements and adequate support are necessary to achieve optimal satisfaction among healthcare workers.

Abstract

Background: Cesarean section (CS) with spinal anesthesia frequently leads to postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). Pharmacological treatment with antiemetics may cause side effects; therefore, safe non-pharmacological alternatives are needed. Ginger and lavender aromatherapy have shown effectiveness in reducing nausea and vomiting, but direct comparisons in post-CS patients are limited. Objective: To compare the effectiveness of ginger and lavender aromatherapy on PONV among post-CS patients with spinal anesthesia. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a two-group pretest–posttest without control design was conducted. Thirty respondents were divided into two groups (ginger = 15, lavender = 15). Interventions consisted of inhalation of ginger or lavender aromatherapy using a diffuser for 15 minutes. PONV was measured with the Rhodes Index of Nausea, Vomiting and Retching (RINVR) before and 30 minutes after intervention. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and independent samples t-test. Results: In the ginger group, PONV scores decreased from 20.93 to 12.67 (p < 0.001), while in the lavender group they decreased from 21.53 to 14.67 (p < 0.001). Between-group analysis showed a significant difference (p = 0.002), with ginger being more effective. Conclusion: Both ginger and lavender aromatherapy effectively reduce PONV after CS with spinal anesthesia, with ginger demonstrating superior results.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is a system that provides information to support decision making. The organizational need for an integrated SIMRS implementation is very important as a tool or tool for measuring organizational performance, so there is a need for reports for hospital management according to the needs that underlie responsive, innovative, transparent, effective, and efficient organizations as a monitoring tool in measurable implementation. SIMRS is useful in improving the performance of hospitals in terms of speed of decision making in formulating strategies. The use of SIMRS operationally is useful for improving performance and services, facilitating coordination between units, increasing HR capabilities. The HOT Fit model places important components in the information system, namely humans (humans), organizations (organizations), and technology (Technology). The three factors in the HOT-Fit method are related in eight dimensions of the relationship for successful implementation, namely System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, System Use, User Satisfaction, Organizational Structure, Organizational Environment and net benefits. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the use of SIM-RS in outpatient units using the HOT-FIT method. The research method used is quantitative research. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the SIM-RS is useful in supporting services to patients. The SIM-RS used is quite good, judging from the indicators of human, organization, technology, user knowledge, regulations and benefits.

Abstract

The use of electronic medical records (EMRs) in healthcare has transformed the way patient information is stored and shared among healthcare providers. Because of the importance of electronic medical records, several aspects are needed for the ERM to function well. The human organization and technology factors are some of the necessary elements for the successful implementation of electronic medical records. Human Organization Technology Fit Model is a framework that helps healthcare organizations assess how well their employees, processes, and technology systems work together to achieve their goals. Objective: The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between human organization and technology in the implementation of electronic medical records in hospitals. This research is a descriptive study using quantitative methods and research uses questionnaires. The research was conducted in several private hospitals, population consists of all EMRs users in outpatient care, which amounts to 132 staff members. This research used non-probability sampling technique. The data analysis will be conducted using Spearman tests with interval data scale, aided by the SPSS. There is a relationship between human and organization (p<0.001) with a strong relationship, as indicated by a r=0.686. There is relatioship between human and organization (p<0.001), It has a strong relationship, as indicated by a r=0.683. Between organization and technology have relationship (p< 0.001) with a very strong correlation r=0.809. The utilization of electronic medical records and human organization technology are related. Abstract

Telemedisin sebagai salah satu inovasi di bidang kesehatan, menawarkan solusi untuk meningkatkan akses dan kualitas layanan kesehatan, terutama di daerah-daerah terpencil. Namun, pemanfaatannya masih terbatas akibat rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang teknologi ini. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai telemedisin melalui sosialisasi dan pengenalan aplikasi Halodoc dan Mobile JKN. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain pra-eksperimen. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Maret 2024, di Kelurahan Jebres, Kecamatan Jebres, Kota Surakarta, dengan peserta yang terdiri dari 20 ibu-ibu PKK. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan setelah sosialisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan di kalangan peserta. Sebelum sosialisasi, hanya sebagian kecil peserta yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang telemedisin, namun setelah sosialisasi, hampir seluruh peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi telemedisin dapat secara efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang layanan kesehatan berbasis teknologi. Peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan masyarakat diharapkan dapat memperluas akses dan kualitas layanan kesehatan, serta mendorong adopsi teknologi telemedisin secara lebih luas. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk mengembangkan program sosialisasi berkelanjutan guna mendukung transformasi digital di sektor kesehatan

Abstract

Latar Belakang Rumah sakit merupakan sarana pelayanan kesehatan yang memiliki fasilitas paling kompleks, padat modal dan padat teknologi dan penyelenggaraan RS cenderung memerlukan teknologi mahal dan modal besar. Manfaat penggunaan rekam medis elektronik tidak hanya manfaat administratif. Manfaat yang dirasakan dokter dan petugas kesehatan adalah kemudahan dalam mengakses informasi pasien yang pada akhirnya membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan klinis. Penggunaan rekam medis elektronik berpotensi memberikan manfaat besar bagi pelayanan kesehatan seperti fasilitas pelayanan dasar maupun rujukan (rumah sakit). Salah satu manfaat yang dirasakan setalah penggunaan rekam medis elektronik adalah meningkatkan ketersediaan catatan elektronik pasien di rumah sakit. Hal ini juga bermanfaat bagi pasien karena meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses pelayanan kesehatan.Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah agar rumah sakit dapat mengimplementasikan rekam medis elektronik untuk meningkatkan mutu dan efisiensi pelayanan kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi terkait penggunaan rekam medis elektronik.Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pengguna rekam medis elektornik di rumah sakit lebih memahami cara penggunaan ERM serta mampu meningkatkan mutu dan efisiensi pelayanan kesehatan.
