Abstract

UMKM in Indonesia are a very important part of the country's economic system. The role of UMKM has a major impact on Indonesia's economic growth. UMKM have made a significant contribution, accounting for 60.5% of Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Additionally, UKMs are the largest employer in the country, accounting for approximately 96.9% of total national employment. (Ministry of Cooperatives and UKMs, 2023). The research methodology employed in this study combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted in the city of Medan. The research location was selected through purposive sampling. The population in this study consists of all Aceh Noodle Stall UMKM under the guidance of the Cooperative and UKM Agency in the city of Medan, totaling 30 UMKM. Data processing and analysis were conducted using Structural Equation Modeling -Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using the SmartPLS program. The results of the reliability tests measured using Cronbach's Alpha and composite reliability showed values above 0.7 for each variable and indicator, indicating that all indicators of the variables “Modernization of Entrepreneurial Attitude” and “Business Success” have reliable instruments.

Abstract

Kopra diekspor karena jumlah produksi tinggi. Namun jumlah produksinya tidak seimbang dengan volume ekspor kopra sehingga perlu daya saing ekspor kopra Indonesia di pasar dunia. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Daya saing ekspor kopra metode Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) dan Export Product Dynamic (EPD). Hasil penelitian perhitungan RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) ekspor kopra Indonesia ke Bangladesh, Filipina, dan Myanmar memiliki keunggulan komparatif nilai RCA rata-rata di atas 1. Sedangkan 4 negara tujuan ekspor kopra ke India, Pakistan, Malaysia, dan China memiliki nilai RCA di bawah 1 sehingga tidak komparatif. Perhitungan EPD (Export Product Dynamic) ekspor kopra Indonesia ke Bangladesh selama 5 tahun terakhir Falling star, Rsing star, Rising star, Rising star, dan Rising star. Nilai EPD (Export Product Dynamic) ekspor kopra Indonesia ke India selama 5 tahun terakhir posisi Falling star, Retreat, Falling star, dan Lost opportunity. Nilai EPD (Export Product Dynamic) ekspor kopra Indonesia ke Pakistan selama 5 tahun terakhir posisi Lost opportunity, Rising star, Falling star, Rising star, dan Lost opportunity. Nilai EPD ekspor kopra Indonesia ke Malaysia selama 5 tahun terakhir posisi Retreat, Rising star, Falling star, Retreat, Lost opportunity. Nilai EPD ekspor kopra Indonesia ke Filipina selama 5 tahun, hilangnya peluang, retreat, rising star, falling star, dan retreat. Nilai EPD ekspor kopra Indonesia ke China selama 5 tahun terakhir hilangnya peluang, rising star, rising star, rising star, dan lost oppurtunity. Abstract

Kota medan merupakan daerah dengan jumlah penduduk terbesar di Sumatera Utara. Pada tahun 2021-2022, Konsumsi buah pisang perkapita di kota medan diketahui bahwa jenis pisang kepok, pisang ambon dan pisang raja merupakan jenis pisang yang paling banyak di konsumsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik konsumen buah pisang kepok dan menganalisis preferensi konsumen terhadap buah pisang kepok di Kota Medan. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan jumlah sampel ditentukan secara quota sebanyak 42 responden konsumen pisang kepok di Kota Medan yang dipilih menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni analisis deskriptif dan Conjoint. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden pisang kepok yakni Jenis kelamin Perempuan (83%), usia 41-50 (45%),  Pendapatan Rp.2.500.000-Rp.5.000.000 (62%), tingkat Pendidikan S1 (48%), jumlah anggota keluarga 1-4 orang ( 81 %) dan pekerjaan ibu rumah tangga (48%). Selanjutnya hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa preferensi konsumen terhadap buah pisang kepok adalah buah pisang kepok dengan harga Rp10.000, memiliki warna kulit kuning dengan bercak hitam, rasa yang manis, tidak berbiji dan memiliki jumlah buah tiap sisir sebanyak (18 buah).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah untuk mengetahui Faktor-Faktor yang mempengaruhi Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah, untuk mengetahui Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah dan untuk melihat Pengaruh Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah di Desa Bulu Cina Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Bulu Cina Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan metode observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah Terhadap Penggunaan Pestisida tergolong baik. Faktor-Faktor yang mempengaruhi Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah Di Desa Bulu Cina Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang antara lain: Umur, Pengalaman, Luas Lahan, Pendidikan, Pengetahuan, Sikap, Resiko dan Tindakan. Pengaruh Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah Terhadap Penggunaan Pestisida secara simultan dipengaruhi oleh: umur, pengalaman, luas lahan, pendidikan, pengetahuan, resiko, sikap dan tindakan, sedangan pengaruh persepsi petani secara parsial hanya dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan.Kata kunci: Persepsi, Petani , Padi Sawah, Pestisida

Abstract

Coffee shop MSMEs have an important role in the economy and are a favorite business in Medan City. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of modernity of entrepreneurial attitudes of coffee shop MSMEs fostered by the Medan City Cooperative Office, analyze the performance of coffee shop MSME success, and analyze the influence of modernity of entrepreneurial attitudes on the success of coffee shop MSMEs fostered by the Medan City Cooperative Office. This study was conducted in Medan City. The sample of this study was all coffee shop MSMEs fostered by the Medan City Cooperative Office with a total sample of 36 coffee shop MSMEs. The collected data will be analyzed qualitatively with Likert scale measurements and SEM-PLS. The results show that the level of modernity of entrepreneurial attitudes has a total average score of 140.8 with a high category and an average percentage of 78.2%. While the performance of coffee shop MSME success has a total average score of 143.9 with a high category and an average percentage of 79.9%. Furthermore, from the results of the SEM-PLS analysis, it can be seen that there is an influence of the modernity of the entrepreneurial attitudes of coffee shop MSME actors on the success of coffee shop MSMEs.

Abstract

The competitiveness of frozen food Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan City is increasingly important in the context of a rapidly growing economy, especially in facing significant challenges such as intense competition. Innovation is a crucial factor in creating competitive advantage and expanding the market for frozen food MSMEs. This study analyzes the level of innovation and competitiveness of frozen food MSMEs and the influence of innovation on the competitiveness of frozen food MSMEs in Medan City. The sample of this study was all frozen food MSMEs under the guidance of the Medan City Cooperatives and SMEs Office, totaling 50 actors. This study is qualitative using a Likert scale to measure innovation and competitiveness of frozen food MSMEs, while SEM-PLS is used to analyze the influence of innovation on competitiveness. The results show that the level of innovation of frozen food MSMEs is in the good category with a score of 185.16 (74.06%). Meanwhile, the competitiveness of frozen food MSMEs is also in the good category with a score of 193 (77.2%). Furthermore, the results of SEM-PLS processing show that there is an influence of MSME actors' innovation on the competitiveness of frozen food MSMEs in Medan City, which is indicated by a P-value of less than 0.05.
