Abstract

New Student Admission Process (PPDB) Zonasi is an important stage for students and school institutions, and becomes an activity that must be carried out in schools, because this activity is the first step in a flow within the school. However, a situation and problems occurred in the Zoning New Student Admission (PPDB) in schools related to the Kurt Lewin Change Model, so that from the problem the researcher intended to conduct research on the implementation of Zoning PPDB according to the perspective of Kurt Lewin's Theory of Change which was seen through 3 stages of change, namely unfreeze,  moving and refreeze. This type of research uses a qualitative approach where this research was carried out in the district of Timor Tengah Selatan in 2022, the data was obtained from the principal, teachers and administrative staff at SMA Negeri 1 Soe, the data was collected through interview, observation and documentation techniques, the data was then analyzed descriptively, The results were then analyzed in a descriptive way to explain the problem of the topic under study. The results of the study show (1) the situation of PPDB Zoning in SMA Negeri 1 Soe (2) PPDB Zoning problems in schools (3) The stage of change according to Kurt Lewin with 3 stages, namely unfreeze, refreezing, change that occur during PPDB implementation Zoning (4) The solution will be PPDB Zoning. and (5) Limitations of the Theory of Change according to Kurt Lewin.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know about implementation of influence PBL and DL model to Mathematic Problem Solving for 5th grade student at elementary school. The type of this research was Quasy Experiment. The result of prerequisite test by using SPSS 25 for windows showed that the data was distributed in normal and homogeny. The independent sample test result showed the significant 0.000 < 0.05 that meant Hₒ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Based on the result obtained, there are significance difference in the implementation between PBL and DL models toward Mathematic Problem Solving ability in 5th grader elementary school students, and there was a significant difference of improvement toward Mathematic problem solving ability in 5th grade elementary school students which can be seen from the comparison of diagram that using PBL had more influence with pretest result 69% and posttest 80%, while using DL model result pretest 66% and posttest 73%.

Abstract

Principals and teachers play a strategic role in improving the quality of education as shown by the best experience (Best Practice) in carrying out their main tasks and functions. Best practices need to be disseminated and published in order to be a reflection and inspiration for others to improve the quality of education. However, the facts show that principals and teachers do not yet have adequate knowledge and skills in compiling best practice scientific papers. This community service activity aims to improve skills in compiling best practice scientific papers for teachers and principals at Private Education Foundations. The training is carried out online with the following methods: lecture, question and answer, discussion, guidance, and performance. The success of community service is shown by: 1) the number of participants exceeding the target of 50 increases to 53 people; 2) attendance reached 92.96% (very good); 3) The increase in the pre test - post test scores reached 76% (Good); 4) The number of training products reached 71.69% (Good) with a product quality score of 77.80 (Good). This success shows the enthusiasm of the participants and very high awareness of the importance of writing best practices for increasing the professionalism of teachers and principals.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out at the Central Christian Education Institution, Salatiga City. The objective of this activity is to prepare teachers who are selected as prospective principals to understand the concept and implementation of school principal competency standards in the fields of managerial, supervision, and entrepreneurship. Activities are held in the form of online mode-based training. The school development plan is the final product of this training activity. This activity is expected to create prospective school leaders of the Central Christian Education Institution Salatiga who can improve the quality of education through their leadership, creativity, and innovation qualities. The results of this community service activity can improve managerial competence, supervision, and entrepreneurship for prospective principals of the Christian Education Institution Salatiga.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out for school principals and teachers of Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the city of Salatiga, Semarang Regency, Ambarawa, Boyolali, Nias Islands, Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua and East Nusa Tenggara. This activity aims to equip school principals and teachers in understanding the concepts and practices of implementing the activator school program and free learning curriculum. Activities carried out in the form of online webinars with lecture and discussion methods. The results of community service show that the satisfaction level of participants in the first stage was at a percentage of 93%, in the very satisfactory category, and the satisfaction level of participants in the second stage was at a percentage of 91%, in the very satisfactory category. This shows that the implementation of community service has an impact on increasing participants' knowledge in implementing the activator school program and the independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 01 Salatiga through a media puzzle assisted Problem Based Learning model. Problem Based Learning model which helped with puzzle to 5th grade students of SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 01 Salatiga.The type of this research is Class Action Research (CAR) with a spiral model from C. Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. The research subjects were 5th grade students of SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 1 Salatiga, totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques using test techniques in the form of evaluation and non-test questions in the form of observation and documentation. The results of the study were proven by the completeness of the 5th grade students learning at 47.2% pre-cycle, increased in the first cycle to 77.8%, and in the second cycle the students learning completeness reached 100% of 36 students. Thus it can be concluded that the learning mathematic using Problem Based Learning model which helped with puzzle can improve results of learning mathematic to 5th grade students of SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 01 Salatiga.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps of cooperative learning model application type STAD that is able to increase thematic learning outcomes the student in one of elementary schools in Salatiga. This instruments use in this study are observations sheet of teacher activities, student activities, students test outcomes and the document of learning activities. The students thematic learning outcomes in cycle 1 has only 9 students (43%) are completed from 21 students. Meanwhile in cycle 2, the writer gets the percentage ret 85% from the observer tho has observed the meeting twice. The thematic student learning outcomes in cycle 2 has 19 students who can complete the lesson (90%). It means that the thematic learning process with cooperative learning type STAD can run well. By studying the result, the writer can conclude that the implementation the steps of cooparative learning type STAD can increase the thematic outcomes one of elementary schools in Salatiga.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning by applying the scientific approach. The number of students studied was 14 students. The results showed that the application of the scientific approach to student learning completeness cycle was only 14% or 4 students who received mastery, increased to 79% or 11 students who completed the first cycle and in the second cycle the learning completeness was reached 100% or all students got mastery value. That is, the learning process using the scientific approach works well. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the steps of learning using the scientific approach can improve the learning outcomes of 4th grade students in Elementary School.

Abstract

The research conducted aims to determine of the picture and picture model applied to students who are hyperactive to increase enthusiasm and increase learning outcomes. The instruments used in this study are teacher activity sheets, student test results and learning activity documents. Thematic learning outcomes of students in the pre-cycle were only 3 (three) students (11%) who were completed from 27 (twenty seven) students, in first cycle only 10 (ten) students (37%) were completed from 27 (twenty seven) students, while in second cycle reached 100% who got complete score of 27 (twenty seven) students. This means that the learning process with the Picture and Picture model runs well. By studying the results of the study, the authors can conclude that the implementation of the learning steps using the Picture and Picture model can increase the learning outcomes in Salatiga 10 Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the school partnership program with parents during distance learning. This research used qualitative and descriptive approaches. The subjects are the school principal, five subject teachers, one deputy principal, two representatives of students' parents, one head of administration, and two school committee members. The data are collected using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data are analyzed through three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The findings indicate that during the planning stage, the partnership team has prepared some actions such as 1) first-day school activities; 2) parental activities; 3) inspirational activities; 4) parents’ involvement in self-development activities and 5) social activities. At the implementation stage, the school partnership team, along with the students’ parents, carries out some activities which involve the parents' association and school committee members based on the action plan that has been set previously. The monitoring process shows that the partnership program involves the parents' associations, the school committee members, and the teachers. The evaluation step shows that the action plan has been implemented effectively despite some issues.
