Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology and information has encouraged many changes in the investment that a person can make, because all these activities can be done virtually with the existence of the internet. Even though investment transactions are greatly assisted by the existence of existing technology, without a good understanding and broad insight into the chosen investment field and the risks that will be faced, it will be very risky to invest. Considering this, it is necessary to provide education, training and assistance for investors before investing, because having in-depth knowledge and insight is an absolute requirement that investors must understand. One of the investment instruments that is getting a lot of attention today is forex. Forex (foreign exchange) has the meaning of foreign currency transactions or in Indonesia it is better known as foreign exchange. Forex is a type of trading or transaction that trades one country's currency against another country's currency (currency pairs) involving the main money markets in the world for 24 hours continuously. Meanwhile, forex trading means the activity of buying and selling foreign currency which is usually carried out online. The aim of forex trading as an investment is to seek profits from the difference in sales figures made. Forex trading is a very profitable investment, with the increasingly rapid development of fintech, forex trading has become a popular type of investment that has high liquidity, so it is quite profitable. Starting from the desire to provide education to residents to avoid 'fraudulent investments', the community service team took the initiative to provide education about forex trading for residents in Kandri Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang. So far, based on observations, residents of Kandri Village are not very familiar with investing in forex, because education about forex trading has never been carried out at all in this sub-district. This forex trading educational activity aims to increase citizens' knowledge about things that potential investors need to consider before investing, especially in the field of forex trading. Abstract

This study investigates the intricate relationship between locus of control, perceived behavior control, and fraud prevention, with whistleblowing as a mediating construct. The research adopted a comprehensive sampling strategy known as a census approach, which encompassed the entirety of the employee population at PT. Lintang Kejora, comprising a total of 100 individuals, thereby ensuring their inclusion as research respondents. The data analysis methodologies employed in this study comprised two-stage least-squares regression and path analysis. The results of the data analysis indicate that locus of control and perceived behavior control exert a partially positive and statistically significant influence on whistleblowing. However, locus of control and perceived behavior control do not appear to have a significant impact on fraud prevention. Additionally, whistleblowing exhibits a positive and statistically significant influence on fraud prevention. Nevertheless, whistleblowing does not mediate the impact of locus of control and perceived behavior control on fraud prevention to a significant extent. These findings shed light on the multifaceted interplay between individual psychological attributes, whistleblowing, and fraud prevention within organizations. Addressing these implications can aid in the development of more effective strategies for preventing and managing fraud in organizational settings. Keywords:locus of control, perceived behavior control, personal cost, whistleblowing, fraud prevention

Abstract

This study took the object in the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Semarang City, where there is a phenomenon of increasing fraud intensity among public accountants which is motivated by increasing pressure, opportunity and rationalization among them. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of pressure, opportunity and rationalization partially and simultaneously on fraud, to find out whether individual morality strengthens the impact of pressure, opportunity and rationalization partially on fraud. The population of the study was 140 people and the sample taken was 125 people using the Proportional Purposive Sampling technique and the data analysis technique using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of the study can be described that pressure, opportunity and rationalization partially and simultaneously have a significant positive impact on fraud. In addition, individual morality strengthens the impact of pressure, opportunity and rationalization partially on fraud. The policy that must be taken by the management of the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Semarang is to make policies that can eliminate the occurrence of pressure, opportunity and rationalization in the work environment of public accountants.

Abstract

Today, the rapid development of the smartphone world must be followed by the mindset of society so as not to be left behind. Sophisticated Android-based smartphones are already widely available on the market, with various contents that essentially increasingly pamper users. It is good that the use of smartphones as a means of telecommunications is not only for sharing news with relatives, friends or colleagues, but can also be used as a means to increase passive income. There needs to be an effort to find other breakthroughs to obtain income, one way is to find passive income via smartphone by using the earn money maker application. Training on passive income with the earn money maker application has never been carried out in Mangunsari Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City, and it is even possible that it is rarely done in other places. This is because there are no competent people about the earn money maker application who can provide introduction and training to residents. The purpose of this training is to open the minds of residents so that they can make passive income by using various applications that can generate money from Android smartphones owned by residents. In the future, it is hoped that with this earn money maker for android training, it will increase residents' understanding and knowledge about various applications on Android smartphones that residents can use as an alternative to increase passive income. Keywords: earn money maker for android and passive income

Abstract

Auditors working in Public Accounting Firms (KAP) face the problem of decreasing affective commitment to the organization. Increasing work stress, a high workload, and unresolved work conflicts trigger this decrease. This study aims to analyze the effects of workload and work conflict on work stress and affective commitment, and to investigate the impact of work stress on affective commitment. Addi- tionally, this study examines the role of work stress as a mediating variable in the relationship between workload and work conflict, influencing affective commitment. The type of research used is quantitative research; the population in this study consisted of auditors working in KAP in the Semarang area, to- taling 150 individuals. The sample collection method employed was purposive sampling, where sample selection was based on specific criteria determined by the researcher, resulting in 134 respondents. Data analysis techniques use Path Analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the study indicate that work conflict has a positive and significant effect on work stress. Simultaneously, workload and work conflict also have a positive and significant effect on increasing work stress. Work stress has a negative and significant effect on auditors’ affective commitment. Work conflict has also been shown to have a negative and significant effect on affective commitment. Practical implications for the man- agement of Public Accounting Firms, particularly in efforts to maintain and improve auditors’ affective commitment through workload management, constructive conflict resolution, and work stress control in the work environment.

Abstract

Every organization is required to be able to maintain the affective commitment of its employees, because this will make employees have high loyalty and are willing to sacrifice for the benefit of their organization. The research object is PT. Real Glass Semarang, a company engaged in the manufacture of dark grey glass using modern technology,namely sheet glass and float glass. PT. Real Glass in order to continue to exist in the midst of intense competion with other comapanies engaged in the same field, the copany experienced a problm phenomenon, wh the affective commitment possessed by employees in the production section was low. It is suspected that is motivated by the low pn orgizati fit, quality of work life and career development in the company. The research objective was to determine the impact of person organization fit, quality of work life and career development on affective commitment partially and simultaneously and to find out wether job satisfaction strengthens the impact of person organization fit, quality of work life and career development on affective commitment.The population of this research is 88 employees who work in the production departement of PT. Real Glass Semarang, while the sampling technique is a cencus, where the entire selected population is used as a sample.The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The calculation results show that person organization fit, quality of work life and career development partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on affective commitment. Job satisfaction partially strengthens the impact of person organization fit, quality of work life and career development on affective commitment. There needs to be a special policy from the management of PT. Real Glass Semarang in order to increasethe affectice commitment of production employees, by increasing employee job satisfaction, so that il will have a positive impact on increasing person organization fit, quality of work life and career development.Keywords : affective commitment, career development, job satisfaction, person organization fit and quality of work life

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi dengan pengembangan desa wisata oleh pemerintah Desa Cempoko Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang yang masih belum optimal. Berdasarkan latar belakang pengabdian kepada masyarakat, maka kegiatan ini mencoba memberikan penguatan berupa sosialisasi wisata literasi yang sedang beroperasi di Desa Cempoko di antaranya adalah wisata perkebunan jambu kristal, pasar buah durian hasil kebun warga Desa Cempoko, Pemancingan Ngrembel, dan Pemancingan Sikopek. Wisata literasi dapat menjadi alternatif mengisi liburan yang produkif, berkualitas, mencerdaskan dan berbiaya cukup murah. Selain juga dari sisi pengelola tujuan wisata bisa menaikkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat, jika dikaitkan dengan tujuan wisata literasi itu sendiri. Wisata literasi merupakan sebuah wisata dimana orang yang berlibur mengisi waktunya dengan membaca dan menulis. Membaca di sini dapat diartikan membaca buku, jurnal, majalah, surat kabar, atau juga dapat diartikan pergi ke suatu tempat untuk mencari informasi, berkunjung, atau “membaca” fenomena yang terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat untuk kemudian dijadikan sebagai bahan tulisan. Sedangkan menulis, dapat dilakukan bukan hanya di sebuah ruangan, tetapi dimanapun sepanjang nyaman digunakan untuk menulis. Selain mengisi waktu dengan kejenuhan harian yang dialami dengan membaca atau menulis, ada orang yang memang secara fokus mengisi waktunya dengan membaca dan menulis di rumah atau di sebuah tempat tertentu. Targetnya adalah selesai liburan ada sekian banyak buku yang dibaca atau sekian banyak tulisan yang berhasil ditulis. Dalam konteks wisata literasi, orang tua dapat saja membawa anaknya untuk berkunjung ke arena pemancingan, taman atau kebun bahkan pasar, yang kesemua peluang tersebut ada di Desa Cempoko. Berdasarkan implementasi kegiatan pengabdian maka rekomendasi yang bisa disampaikan adalah sebagai berikut : 1). Pengembangan desa wisata oleh pemerintah Desa Cempoko Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang bisa dimaksimalkan lebih baik dengan dukungan pemerintah desa dalam memberikan stimuli perhatian dalam bentuk regulasi yang menguntungkan lebih besar lagi bagi pengelolanya serta ikut mempromosikan desa wisata yang ada di Desa Cempoko 2.) Pemerintah desa lebih banyak lagi dalam melibatkan masyarakat dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan desa wisata sehingga keberadaan desa wisata di Desa Cempoko akan memberikan kontribusi besar dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. 3) Adanya kendala dalam pengembangan desa wisata oleh pemerintah Desa yang antara lain dikarenakan kurangnya anggaran sehingga pengelola desa wisata di masing-masing obyek wisata masih memanfaatkan dana pribadi. Oleh karenanya perlu adanya support nyata dari pemerintah desa maupun kota dalam pengembangan desa wisata ke arah yang lebih signifikan.

Abstract

Usaha Selada hidroponik memiliki semua manfaat kesehatan yang sama dengan selada yang ditanam di tanah. Selada hidroponik merupakan sumber vitamin K yang baik, yang penting untuk kekuatan tulang. Karena mengandung hingga 95% air, selada hidroponik dapat memberikan efek menghidrasi, dan vitamin A-nya baik untuk mata. Selada merupakan sayur yang paling banyak digemari oleh semua kalangan. Selada biasanya dimakan bersama burger atau sebagai lalapan ayam goreng, ayam bakar, sea food atau sejenisnya. Karena selada sangat digemari, banyak orang mencarinya. Keuntungan menggunakan teknologi hidroponik yaitu tidak mencemari lingkungan. Penggunaan sedikit air karena air dalam instalasi dapat dikembalikan. Serta mudah dalam menanggulangi hama dan penyakit. Menggunakan teknologi hidroponik juga dapat meminimalisir tempat dan jika dipandang, lebih indah. Rasa selada juga dapat mempengaruhi teknologi penanaman. Rasa selada akan lebih manis jika penanaman menggunakan teknologi hidroponik dibandingkan penanaman teknologi tanah. Dari pelaksanaan di lapangan yang dilakukan maka program yang telah dilaksanakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam ranah perbaikan gizi keluarga dan peningkatan ekonomi warga desa Sumurrejo khususnya dapat disimpukan bahwa masyarakat desa Sumurrejo sangat memahami akan nilai gizi yang terkandung dalam selada dan antusias dalam menerima sosialisasi budidaya selada melalai metode hidroponik baik dengan menggunkan media arang sekam maupun air yang bernutrisi. Warga juga telah memahami betul cara budidaya selada baik menggunkan arang sekam yang banyak didapati di desa Sumurrejo maupun dari media air yang bernutrisi dengan hasil selada yang bisa dipanen kurang dari 40 hari. Implementasi ilmu para narasumber tim pengabdian pada masyarakat bisa diaplikasikan dengan maksimal sehingga transfer ilmu bisa menunjang program desa yang sudah berjalan selama ini.
