Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is the development research for the purpose of (1) developing social studies module insightful character education on the material of the proclamation of Indonesian independence for elementary school class V; (2) tell  the advisability social studies module insightful character education on the material of the proclamation of Indonesian independence for elementary school class V; and (3) tell the effectiveness module insightful character education on the material of the proclamation of Indonesian independence for elementary school class V. Research done on class V students in SDI Al Hadad Kedungjambe as the experimental class and on class V students in SDN Saringembat I as the control class. The development is done in reference to a model 4-D (Four D Models) by Thiagarajan, whereas at this stage of testing modules use Pretest-Postest Control Group Design by using descriptive statistics and inferensial statistics. The data collection technique uses validation of experts, observation method, test, and qestionnaire. Based on the descriptive analysis of obtained modules development process that has been conducted according to the stages of advanced Thigarajan is: definition (define), design (design), and development (develop). The module also has developed feasibility for use. Based on inferensial statistics  using SPSS 18.0 that is uji F and uji t. Score F that assume that two varian are same is 3,671 with provided that value is 0,068. Because the provided that value of F > 0,05, that the meaning is two varians are not difference. Score t-test that assume two varians are same is 4,522 with provided that value of is 0,000. Because the provided that value < 0.05, then there is a difference in student learning outcomes developed by using  the module learning outcomes than student by using plain text book, so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of student using  the module better than students who use only plain text book. Summary of the research that has been done suggests that the module development process has been carried out according to the stages of advanced Thigarajan as well as modules developed had a good level of feasibility and effect on student learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fractional material in fifth gradeelementary school students. The research method used is a class action research method. The subjectsin this study were fifth grade students of Temaji I Elementary School, Jenu District, Tuban with 32students including 14 men and 18 women. Data collection techniques through observation techniqueswith observation of teacher activities and student activities and test techniques. The results showed anincrease from pre-cycle, which was previously only 10 students (31.25%) who reached the minimumcompleteness criteria increased to 14 students (43.75%) who completed learning, in the second cycleincreased to 19 students (59.4% ) and in cycle III also increased to 27 students (84.3%) who reachedthe minimum completeness criteria.

Abstract

Untuk pengembangan fungsi otak kanan, di lembaga Sekolah Dasar kurikulum satuan pendidikan memuat mata pelajaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan (SBK). Dalam pembelajarannya, fakta yang ada pelajaran tersebut hanya diterapkan sebagian dan dalam waktu-waktu tertentu saja, karena kebanyakan guru beranggapan bahwa mata pelajaran ini tidak begitu penting. Anak dilatih menyanyi, menari, melukis dan mozaik hanya saat menjelang mengikuti lomba- lomba tanpa memandang tujuan jangka panjang yaitu membekali anak dengan keterampilan/skill juga. Guru-guru yang mengampu mata pelajaran tersebut cenderung kebingungan memilih bahan atau media pembelajaran dengan alasan sulit mendapatkannya, sehingga guru hanya terpaku pada sebuah buku gambar. Pada anak Sekolah Dasar kelas tinggi mulai diperlukan penegasan tentang teori- teori berkesenian, budaya dan keterampilan tersebut. Untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan pada anak Sekolah Dasar terutama kelas tinggi, guru perlu memperhatikan keterkaitan antara model pembelajaran alam sekitar dengan kreativitas yang ia miliki. Model pembelajaran alam sekitar merupakan model pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber dari alam sekitar dalam kegiatan belajar dan mengajar, yang menarik karena dalam penyampaiannya lebih berkaitan dengan benda yang konkret. Masa usia anak pada kelas tinggi merupakan masa anak mulai berpikir dari yang konkret ke yang abstrak. Melalui bimbingan guru, anak diperkenalkan dan dibimbing untuk berkesenian. Dengan demikian, terdapat keterkaitan yang sangat erat antara model pembelajaran alam sekitar dengan kreativitas guru dalam penyampaian mata pelajaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan (SBK) pada anak Sekolah Dasar kelas tinggi (kelas IV, V, dan VI) yaitu mulai dari guru memilih, menentukan, dan membuat media pembelajaran, hingga tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This article was created as an effort to publish about the habits carried out by students in order to form character by using the method of habituation of kultum every Thursday. Personality education obtained by children from their daily activities is often irregular and less systematic, therefore the habituation of kultum is used as one of the programs that are expected to be able to create a golden generation with a religious character. Therefore, it is very important to choose the right and appropriate habits so that they can form the religious character of the golden generation of Indonesia. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using a library study approach or can be called library research, in which the author collects various references through journals, articles, and other sources. And from this study, appropriate strategies can be identified to improve religious literacy. Through the habituation of kultum every Thursday, the character that is expected to emerge in students of UPT SDN Sidorejo 1 is a religious and civilized character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN DOROMUKTI melalui penggunaan media papan pecahan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pecahan, yang berdampak pada hasil belajar mereka. Peneltitian ini menggunakan metode PTK 2 siklus, yang melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Media papan pecahan diperkenalkan untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep pecahan secara visual dan interaktif. Data yang diperoleh melalui tes pencapaianl belajar siswa, observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan media papan pecahan mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman siswa. Nilai hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan tren peningkatan dari pra siklus, siklus I, hingga siklus II. Pada tahap pra siklus, hanya 3 siswa atau sekitar 27,27% yang berhasil mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), kemudian pada Siklus 1 terdapat 7 peserta didik atau 72,7% mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar, kemudian diperbaiki pada Siklus 2 terdapat 10 peserta didik atau 90,9% meningkat hasil belajarnya. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan media yang efektif bisa berkontribusi signifikan untuk peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Diharapkan, hasil dari penelitian ini mampu dijadikan acuan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ini diarahkan untuk peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas V yang kurang memahami materi bentuk norma-norma dalam masyarakat dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran visualisasi konkret seperti “Ular Tangga” di kembangkan dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang berkaitan. Penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang melibatkan pendidik serta peneliti selama pembelajaran. Guru akan mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan dengan mengawasi praktik mengajar peneliti. "Ular Tangga" adalah solusi yang lebih baik untuk masalah siswa yang tidak memahami materi bentuk norma-norma dalam masyarakat. Pada siklus I, nilai siswa 38,89% berada dalam kategori sangat baik, 27,78% berada dalam kategori baik, 22,22% berada dalam kategori cukup baik, dan 11,11% berada dalam kategori kurang baik. Pada siklus kedua, ketika media pembelajaran "Ular Tangga" digunakan, nilai siswa adalah 77,78% dalam kategori terbaik dan 22,22% dalam kategori baik. Tidak ada siswa yang gagal mencapai KKTP. Tidak ada lagi siswa yang belum tuntas KKTP, dari 2 anak sebelumnya. Media pembelajaran sangat penting untuk mendukung pemahaman siswa tentang materi bentuk norma-norma dalam masyarakat. Mereka tidak hanya bergantung pada metode ceramah yang membosankan, tetapi juga memiliki kegiatan yang meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dan membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan. Jadi menggunakan "Ular Tangga", siswa akan memiliki pengalaman baru dan pembelajaran baru. Artikel ini akan mengajarkan peneliti dan pembaca bagaimana membuat media pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to test the validity of the Animal Life Cycle (ALC) learning media developed to improve critical thinking skills of grade III students. Animal Life Cycle (ALC) media is a 3-dimensional miniature learning media adopted from Diorama media which was created with the aim of depicting real scenery, so that learning materials are clearer and easier for students to understand so that they can encourage students' critical thinking skills. Validation was carried out by two experts, namely material experts and media experts using a Likert scale-based assessment instrument. This type of research is development research with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, test sheets, and validation sheets. The validation results by material experts obtained a score of 95% (very valid category) and media experts obtained a score of 85% (very valid category). The overall average validation score of the Animal Life Cycle (ALC) media was 90%, which indicates that this media is in the "very valid" category and is suitable for use in the learning process. Thus, the Animal Life Cycle (ALC) media is proven to meet the aspects of content, presentation, and technical feasibility, and has great potential to support the achievement of students' critical thinking skills. These findings are expected to be the basis for further development and implementation of interactive and innovative media in elementary school learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop educational media UTAR (Ular Tangga Pintar) as a learning tool in the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) material on Indonesian Cultural Diversity for grade V students at SDN Ngasinan Rembang. This development is motivated by low student interest and learning outcomes due to learning methods that are still dominated by lectures and limited learning media used. This research uses the ADDIE development model which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation results showed that UTAR media was declared valid with a score of 90% from media experts and 93% from material experts. The practicality test shows that UTAR media is very practical to use in learning, with a score of 86% teacher response and 88% student response. In addition, the results of the effectiveness test showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes, namely the average pre-test score of 61 increased to a post-test of 89. This media is also able to increase students' motivation and active participation in the learning process. Thus, UTAR educational media is feasible to use as an alternative interactive and fun learning media to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes in Civics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to test the validity of SMOSIS (Smart Monopoly Symbiosis), an active and effective learning medium developed to improve students' critical thinking skills. The SMOSIS (Smart Monopoly Symbiosis) medium is inspired by the Monopoly game and has been developed into a creative and innovative learning medium, making it engaging and challenging for students while helping them create a learning environment that is not boring and fostering their critical thinking skills. Validation was conducted by two experts, namely a subject matter expert and a media expert, using a Likert scale-based assessment instrument. This research is a development study with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection techniques include interview sheets, observations, questionnaire sheets, test sheets, and validation sheets. The validation results by the subject matter expert showed a score of 90% (very valid category), and the media expert obtained a score of 83.75% (very valid category). The overall average validation score for the SMOSIS (Smart Monopoly Symbiosis) media is 86.87%, indicating that this media falls into the ‘highly valid’ category and is suitable for use in the learning process. Thus, the SMOSIS (Smart Monopoly Symbiosis) media has been proven to meet the criteria for content, presentation, and technical aspects and has great potential to support the development of critical thinking skills among students. This finding is expected to serve as a foundation for further development and implementation of creative and innovative media in primary school education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang dikembangkan untuk pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan fokus pada tahap validasi oleh tiga ahli, yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Subjek penelitian adalah LKPD yang divalidasi menggunakan instrumen angket skala Likert. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD memperoleh skor 89,3% dari ahli materi, 97,1% dari ahli media, dan 88,8% dari ahli bahasa, yang semuanya termasuk dalam kategori "sangat valid". Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis proyek di kelas V sekolah dasar.
