Abstract

BACKGROUND Postpartum infections still play a role as the main cause of maternal death, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This problem occurs as a result of midwifery services which are still far from perfect. Other factors causing postpartum infections include poor immune system, poor postpartum care, malnutrition/ malnutrition, anemia, poor hygiene, and fatigue. As a result of improper care of the perineum, it can result in the condition of the perineum being affected by locchea and moisture which will really support the growth of bacteria which can cause infections in the perineum. Infection not only hinders the wound healing process but can also cause damage to the supporting cell tissue, thereby increasing the size of the wound itself, both in length and depth. The causes of maternal death in Indonesia are still dominated by bleeding (32%) and hypertension in pregnancy (20%), followed by infection (5%), prolonged labor (10%), and abortion (5%) apart from obstetric causes, maternal death is also caused by other causes (non-obstetric) amounting to 35% (Indonesian Health Profile, 2019).OBJECTIVE: Knowing the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers in caring for perenium wounds in the independent practice of Leli midwives, Datuk Tanah Datar sub-district, Batu Bara Regency in 2022. METHOD chi square test p value < 0.05 means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, the statistical test results show a significant relationship. RESULTS: knowledge of postpartum mothers and attitudes of postpartum mothers in caring for perennial wounds in the independent practice of Leli midwives, Datuk Tanah Datar subdistrict, Batubara district in 2022. Suggestions are given for research and for research sites and for educational institutions regarding perennial wound care. Suggestions are given for research and for research sites and for educational institutions regarding Bounding Attachment.

Abstract

The time to give MP-ASI to babies is after the baby is 6 months old because before the age of 6 months the baby's digestion is not yet strong enough to digest food other than breast milk. However, there is still a lack of babies who receive Complementary Food (MP-ASI) before the time of giving it which cannot be separated from the influence of knowledge and attitudes of parents, in this case mothers who are less aware and have complete information regarding the correct provision of MP-ASI but instead give MP-ASI breastfeed before the baby is 6 months old. To find out the relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes and providing MP-ASI to children aged 6 - 24 months at the Bandar Health Center, Bener Meriah Regency in 2022. This type of research is analytical observational research using a cross sectional approach. Sampling in this study was carried out with a total sampling of 48 mothers who had children aged 6 - 24 months. Based on statistical tests carried out with Chi-Square, it shows that the p value = 0.023 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which can be interpreted as meaning that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and providing MP-ASI to children aged 6 - 24 months at the Community Health Center. Abstract

Low back pain during pregnancy occurs due to changes in pregnancy hormones which increase relaxant hormones that affect the flexibility of the ligament tissue which ultimately increases joint mobility in the pelvis and will have an impact on spinal and pelvic instability and cause back pain. One way to reduce low back pain is to do pregnancy exercises. Pregnancy exercise can relieve lower back pain that is felt by pregnant women because in pregnancy exercise there are movements that can strengthen the abdominal muscles, make the elasticity of the muscles and ligaments in the back and relax, so that pregnant exercise can reduce lower back pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pregnancy exercise on reducing low back pain in pregnant women in the second and third trimesters in Panei District 2021. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a pre-post-test design with one group test. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the second and third trimesters in Panei Tongah Health Center many as 30 people. The sample in this study amounted to 28 people. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Paired-Samples T Test. The average lower back pain before treatment was 3.32 and the Std. Deviation was 0.772. The average low back pain after treatment was 2.25 and the Std. Deviation was 1.005. There is an effect of pregnancy exercise on reducing low back pain in pregnant women in the second and third trimesters in Panei Tongah Health Center in 2021 with a value of p = 0.000 p <0.05. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of compensation and motivation on operational performance in office environments. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a causal research design, the study examines data from 100 respondents selected through random sampling. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires distributed online, measuring variables of compensation, motivation, and operational performance using a Likert scale. Statistical analysis, including multiple linear regression, was employed to evaluate the relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that motivation has a more dominant and significant influence on operational performance compared to compensation. While compensation demonstrates a positive relationship with operational performance, its effect is statistically insignificant. The regression model reveals that both compensation and motivation collectively explain 16.26% of the variability in operational performance, suggesting that other factors also play substantial roles. These results underscore the importance of focusing on motivational strategies, such as recognition, career development opportunities, and a supportive work environment, to enhance employee performance. Although compensation remains a critical factor for retaining talent, its role should be complemented by initiatives aimed at fostering intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
