Abstract

Community Health Center or commonly called as Puskesmas is one of the health public services in Indonesia. Puskesmas managed by the local goverment, namely The District/City Health Department. Like the other public services, Puskesmas must always make improvements to the service to fulfill the needs of the people. The local goverment need to be supervised by the central government, so that the service improvement can run properly. The government department that does the monitoring is Public Services Division of Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform. Every year, Public Services Division of Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform evaluate all the public services in Indonesia, including Puskesmas. The Evaluation is still done manually, by bringing the officers of The District/City Health Department to each Puskesmas to survey, then the data is rechecked by The Province Health Department. Then, the data is sent to Public Services Division of Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform for analysis. Thus, the evaluation become less effective and less efficient. Based on the background, the research carried out by studying the literature, and data collection, and analysis of the Public Services Division of the Ministry of PAN RB, followed by the design and manufacture of the system. Then the system will be tested to determine whether the system has been running well without any problems according to user requirements. After the testing is done, the system can be implemented at the Ministry of Public Oelayanan Division PAN RB. Based on the background and the research, it’s known that the evaluation system need to become more effective and efficient, by making a web-based information system that is connected to the internet. The information system is built using PHP as the program language and PostgreSQL for the database, which named Puskesmas Public Services Evaluation Information System.

Abstract

During this time automatic unlocking still use the physical tools as the authentication method, which potentially damaged or lost. Authentication method of automatic unlocking system does not use technology which allows unique information to be stored without the need for physical tools and where everyone can use it. Therefore, research needs to be done to develop an automatic unlocking system using knocking pattern identification as the authentication method. System consists of hardware and software. Hardware consist of sensor which are buzzer, ATTiny85 as microcontroller and solenoid lock as actuator. Software is coded using C language with Arduino IDE which is compatible with AVR microcontroler. The system can read the knocking pattern from buzzer then identify it as true or false knock. From the test results, system can identify knocking pattern based on number of knocks, time beetween knocks and soft or loud of knocks. The system identifies the knocking patterns by analyzing its pattern compared with the true knock saved in system memory. Knocking pattern identification can be an alternative of authentication system for automatic unlocking system.

Abstract

This final project aims to design a door security device using RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) and the keypad as a method of access into the room. The system will automatically give warning when the code is entered incorrectly or burglars entered by breaking the door. The microcontroller that is used as the central data processing is ATMega 16 microcontroller ATMEL production and security sensors are used PIR (Passive Infra Red) and magnetic switches.The design begins with a schematic device hardware and software design using CodeVisionAVR programming. Implementation phase includes the implementation of the physical tools, programs, and sensors. The testing phase is done by testing the input sensors and exit switches, siren output devices, DC motor, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), the RFID reader, keypad, and system controller.The results of room layered security system works according to design. PIR sensors can detect human activities and turn the LED lamp indicator on. Magnetic switch sensors will provide input to the microcontroller to enable or disable the DC motor as the room locking system. Admin menu that is accessed from the keypad is to add users, remove users, see registered users and change the password. User menu which is also accessed using the keypad, work as the room access using a username and password.This study resulted in the layered security. Room access is done using RFIDTag and password. The room piercing detection is done by sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red) and magnetic switches. Alarm used as a piercing action warning. This layered room safety device produces a better security system.

Abstract

The growth of data requires better performance in the storage system. This study aims to analyze the comparison of block storage performance of Ceph and ZFS running in virtual environments. Tests were conducted to measure their performances, including IOPS, CPU usage, throughput, OLTP Database, replication time, and data integrity. Testing was done using 2 node servers with a standard configuration of the storage system. Server virtualization uses Proxmox on each node. ZFS has a higher performance of reading and writing operation than Ceph in IOPS, CPU usage, throughput, OLTP and data replication duration, except the CPU usage in writing operation. The test results are expected to be a reference in the selection of storage systems for data center applications.

Abstract

Wireless network is a network utilizing radio waves that propagate openly. This network requires security to simplify the process by using user Authentication. One of technology that could be used in order to make it safer is a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Remote Authentication Dila In User Service (RADIUS). Computer Systems Engineering Department is one of the study program in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Diponegoro that reserve the internet service everyday for students need. However, internet wireless network in this department is not yet safe enough,for the necessary to secure it’s need creating a security system with LDAP and RADIUS.The results of this study is a network authentication server using OpenLDAP and FreeRadius Hotspot that will be integrated with an account of Academic Information System, which is implemented on Prodi Computer Systems Engineering Department of the University of Diponegoro.

Abstract

Seiring dengan semakin luasnya penerapan teknologi komputasi di sekitar kita, menjadikan informasi menjadi sangat mudah dan cepat untuk disebarkan. Kita dapat mengakses informasi dan data-data yang kita butuhkan dengan mudah. Namun permasalahan yang kita hadapi saat ini kerhasiaan informasi menjadi sangat riskan. Oleh karena itu Sistem keamanan merupakan hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan dalam mengembangkan suatu sistem komputer hal ini lah yang menjadikan enkripsi dan dekripsi data menjadi hal yang penting. Modul rancangan IP Core ini dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Xilinx ISE Design Suite 12.4. Kemudian rancangan IP Core ini diimplementasikan pada papan Xilinx FPGA Spartan-3E XC3S500E-4FG320C dari keluarga Xilinx FPGA Spartan-3E dengan 500K sistem gerbang. Verifikasi fungsional dari IP Core yang dirancang menggunakan testbench dan simulasi diagram pewaktuan menggunakan aplikasi Xilinx ISE Simulator. Tugas akhir ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan IP Core yang mampu menjalankan fungsi enkripsi DES (Data Encryption Standard) dan ditulis menggunakan bahasa Verilog. Implementasi algoritma enkripsi dan dekripsi algoritma DES telah berhasil dilakukan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sistem telah dapat melakukan enkripsi dan dekripsi data sesuai dengan spesifikasi algoritma DES. Sebaiknya penelitian ini dikembangkan kembali dengan menguji sistem untuk melakukan transmisi data berupa file ataupun teks. Selain itu juga perlu meningkatkan unjuk kerja sistem dengan optimasi sumber daya dan kecepatan waktu proses pada perancangan rekonstruksi kode verilog.

Abstract

This paper contains distributed sensor system design for temperature, air humidity, and light intensity monitoring in greenhouse based Arduino Uno board. System contains 2 sensor-actuator nodes, and 1 controller node connected to Ethernet network through Ethernet Shield board. Sensor-actuator node with DHT 11 sensor works for taking environment informations such as temperature, air humidity, and light intensity, runs actuation in the form of emulating LED lights; and communicates with controller node which will process data using serial wire as a communication tool between nodes. Monitoring datas and user control interface is provided by controller node which can be accessed online in web browser. The system ability for monitoring environment in greenhouse and online access of environmental data generates controllable and automatic monitoring and management of plants.

Abstract

Line follower robot is a robot that can follow a line composed of a series of electronic components are equipped with wheels and driven by a motor. Controlling speed is very dependent on the speed limit and friction between the tire robot with the floor. The robots are designed to navigate and move automatically follow a flow line in order to get a response and speed are ideal.. The system consists of hardware and software. The hardware consists of a sensor such as a photodiode input, ATMEGA32 as microcontroller and DC motors. fuzzy logic is divided into three processes namely fuzzyfikasi, evaluation and defuzzyfikasi rule. Defuzzification a conversion step in fuzzy logic system to keluaran crisp value. The conversion result is an action taken by Fuzzy logic control system. The test results were obtained system is capable of identifying a straight line, turn lanes, and lane gray. The system is able to provide an ideal response and speed. input from the reading of the line will be processed by the control system fuzzy and outputs the result as the calculating of the motor speed. fuzzy control system can be an alternative technology development line follower robot control system.

Abstract

Numbers of internet users are increasing incredibly fast. Ideally, this increasing numbers of users are also supported by capacity uplift, in this case an increase in bandwidth to maintain the standard services that received by the users. However, increasing the bandwidth not always becomes the first option since it is quite expensive. Implementing proxy server as content/cache engine is the other option available. It will cache the content that user requested and keep it for a while for servicing the other users that will request the same content in the future. WCCP protocol is used to redirect user’s traffic to the proxy server. The standard proxy server configurations are using single router with one or more proxy servers. This thesis is aims to design and implement proxy server system with multi routers configuration. Multi routers configuration is used as a failover mechanism to provide network high availability. It will use HSRP protocol to provide the high availability services. Tests that conducted after implementation shows the increase in transaction and successful transaction by 296% and 284% also a decrease in response time as well as failed transaction by 18% and 99% consecutively. Failover test shows the percentage of packet loss amounted to 31,3% and 26,3% for clients in VLAN 10 and VLAN 20 consecutively. The average time required for clients to reconnect to the internet after router failure is 7 seconds for clients in VLAN 10 and 6 seconds for client in VLAN 20.

Abstract

Listrik merupakan salah satu kebutuhan penting dalam kehidupan dan selama ini ketergantungan manusia terhadap listrik menimbulkan kebiasaan buruk. Banyak orang terkadang membiarkan suatu alat listrik ditinggal dalam kondisi menyala yang dapat menyebabkan pemborosan dan pemborosan sendiri bukanlah satu satunya masalah yang akan timbul namun juga dapat menyebabkan kebakaran. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan mengembangkan sistem yang dapat mengontrol dan mengetahui status alat listrik yang bisa diakses dari jarak jauh, contohnya melalui pesan singkat (SMS). Sistem terdiri atas perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Perangkat keras terdiri atas sensor arus sebagai masukan arus listrik, Arduino Mega sebagai mikrokontroler, sensor PIR sebagai inputan mendeteksi keberadaan panas tubuh manusia, relay sebagai keluaran yang berfungsi sebagai saklar dan SIM900 Mini Modul sebagai penerima dan pengirim pesan singkat (SMS). Perangkat lunak dibuat menggunakan bahasa C dengan Arduino IDE. Kegiatan penelitian meliputi studi literatur, analisis spesifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu menyalakan dan mematikan terminal yang terhubung dengan alat listrik menggunakan perintah pesan singkat (SMS), sistem mampu mendeteksi keberadaan panas tubuh manusia, sistem mampu memeriksa keadaan terminal dalam posisi menyala ataupun tidak, sistem mampu memberi notifikasi melalui pesan singkat (SMS) tentang penggunaan komponen listrik yang dilalaikan dan bila ada orang asing yang ingin masuk kedalam sistem.Electricity is one of the important needs in life and for human dependency on electricity cause bad habits. Many people sometimes let an electrical appliance was left in light conditions that can cause waste and waste itself is not the only issue that will arise, but also can cause a fire. Therefore, research must be done to develop a system that can control and know the status of power tools that can be accessed remotely, for example via short messages service (SMS). The system consists of hardware and software. The hardware consists of a current sensor as an input electrical current, Arduino Mega as microcontroller, the PIR sensor as an input to detect the presence of human body heat, as the output relay that function as a switch and SIM900 Mini Module as the receiver and sender short messages services (SMS). The software is built using C with the Arduino IDE. The research activities include the study of literature, analysis of requirements specification, system design, implementation and testing The test result show the system can turn on and off the terminal that is connected to the power tool using the command short message services (SMS), the system is able to detect the presence of human body heat, the system is able to check the state of the terminal in a position on or off, the system is able to give notification via short message services (SMS) on the use of electrical components is neglected and if there are foreigners who wish to enter into the system.
