Abstract

Penggunaan organisme berupa serangga Black Soldier Fly (BSF) menjadi salah satu cara alternatif untuk mereduksi sampah organik dari sisa kegiatan dapur. Pemanfaatan media pakan ayam dan bungkil/ampas kelapa berpengaruh pada potensi dan hasil yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas rancangan unit dalam mengolah timbulan sampah organik. Hasil menunjukkan unit cukup efektif digunakan sebagai tempat pengembang biakan larva BSF karena pupa menetas dalam waktu 3 hari sesuai dengan penelitian lain. Kelembaban dan suhu yang dijaga menjadi salah satu faktor keberhasilan pupa menetas. Antraktan yang belum tersedia dalam unit menjadikan imago BSF dewasa tidak tertarik bertelur meskipun telah melewati masa kawin. Nilai rasio C/N, P2O5 dan K2O dari studi literatur yang telah dilakukan memberikan hasil bahwa residu/sisa dari proses biokonversi sampah organik oleh larva BSF dapat digunakan dalam bidang pertanian sesuai dengan SNI 19-7030-2004 tentang spesifikasi kompos organik.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini berfokus pada masalah kesehatan warga Cendana Residence, khususnya dalam deteksi dini dan pencegahan penyakit degeneratif. Tujuan utama pengabdian adalah memberikan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis dan layanan deteksi dini untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mendorong pengelolaan kesehatan secara proaktif di kalangan warga. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mendirikan pos pemeriksaan kesehatan di Apotek U-Med, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan, di mana warga dapat menerima pemeriksaan kesehatan lengkap, termasuk pengukuran tekanan darah, tes gula darah, serta konsultasi mengenai faktor risiko penyakit degeneratif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan perlunya pemantauan kesehatan secara rutin di komunitas tersebut, karena banyak warga yang teridentifikasi berisiko terkena penyakit degeneratif. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan dan mendorong intervensi dini, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

The study, titled "The Influence of the Structural Analytic Synthetic (SAS) Method on Improving Early Reading Skills," examines the factors that contribute to students' reading difficulties, including (1) lack of knowledge about letters and (2) inability to understand the meaning of sentences being read. Therefore, the researcher implemented the SAS method as a strategy for early reading instruction. This research employed a quantitative experimental method to improve the reading abilities of first-grade students at SDN Gili Anyar. The study adopted a one-group pre-experimental design, consisting of pre-test and post-test phases. A quota sampling technique was used to select 22 first-grade students as participants. Data were collected through tests and observations, and a z-test was employed to assess the differences in mean scores before and after the intervention. The findings are as follows: 1) The average reading ability of the students before the intervention (pre-test) was 81.37, categorized as sufficient. 2)After the intervention (post-test), the average score improved to 91.17, categorized as very good. 3)The study concludes that the hypothesis (H1) is accepted, indicating that the SAS method effectively enhances the reading skills of first-grade students at SDN Gili Anyar.

Abstract

The increasing use of digital devices in children has been associated with the progression of myopia. This literature review aims to analyze the relationship between screen time duration and myopia acceleration in children. The study was conducted by reviewing 12 journals published between 2019 to 2024, using prospective and retrospective observational methods. The results showed that children who spent more than 3-4 hours per day in front of the screen experienced more significant axial elongation and refractive changes than those with lower duration of use. In addition, online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a major factor in the increase in the duration of digital device use, contributing to the accelerated progression of myopia. The literature research involved searching online scientific databases such as Pubmed, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar and ProQuest. This study emphasizes the importance of reducing screen time and increasing outdoor activities to reduce the risk of myopia in children.

Abstract

The emergence of large language models such as ChatGPT has created unprecedented opportunities for automating software development processes, particularly within the machine learning domain. This study aims to empirically evaluate the effectiveness of ChatGPT in generating machine learning code for image classification tasks using the Keras framework. The research employs an experimental methodology utilizing the MNIST dataset, comprising 70,000 handwritten digit images. A systematic series of experiments was conducted through progressive prompting strategies, ranging from basic model construction to comprehensive evaluation protocols. The findings demonstrate that ChatGPT successfully generated 100% executable code without errors, with the resulting models achieving 99% accuracy on the test dataset. A notable discovery emerged in the form of "intelligent deviation" phenomena, wherein ChatGPT autonomously provided Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures despite explicit requests for fully connected layers, demonstrating sophisticated contextual understanding. The generated code quality met professional standards with robust multi-library integration capabilities. This research provides the first systematic empirical contribution regarding large language model capabilities in machine learning code generation, offering significant implications for democratizing artificial intelligence technology access within educational and research contexts.

Abstract

Musala Darul Falah is a place of worship for Muslims located in Jorong Koto Tuo, Nagari Lubuk Malako, Sangir Jujuan District, South Solok Regency. The mosque is regularly visited by the local community for the five daily prayers, and it also hosts routine religious classes for children and teenagers. Currently, the prayer schedule at Musala Darul Falah is still managed using a conventional method, specifically a chalkboard. If there are any changes in the prayer times, they must be manually updated. The appearance of the prayer schedule board is quite basic and lacks an aesthetic appeal. In fact, places of worship should incorporate elements of beauty to enhance the comfort of the congregation during prayer. To address this issue, the management of Musala Darul Falah, in collaboration with the Community Service Team, has installed a digital prayer schedule display in the form of a running text device with an automatic call-to-prayer feature. This device can be accessed and controlled through a smartphone. The design and appearance of the content displayed on the running text can be customized by the management according to their preferences. With the installation of this running text device, it is hoped that the management of Musala Darul Falah will have a more efficient way to manage the prayer schedule and add an aesthetic touch to improve the comfort of the congregation
