Abstract

Abstract: Seeing the growth in the modern era of such as this the increasing number of fast food that circulate in the canteens of school children and diminished fibrous foods such as vegetables. The problem, nutritious foodsparticularly vegetables now rarely known by the person if the nutrients contained in vegetables high protein. Vegetables are the main source of minerals for the children there are a few types of vegetables containing iron, potassium and phospor. This is because there is a lot of media who publish, particularly through the book in the form of vector which is accompanied puzzle game. Though vegetables are foods that are high in fiber needed by the body to keep the body becomes healthy and fit. In addition, if not eating vegetables will also interfere with the growth and cause vision problems such as blindness and xerophthalmia or dryness of the membranes and corneal mata.tetapi still many people who tend to avoid the vegetables for the body. In this study indicate that children do not despise to vegetables because of bitter taste. Abstract

The    purpose of    the    design a    comic    book City Surabaya tourism guide is to introduce and promote                     tourism. Further                     research is                     done using qualitative research methodsthat   do interviews, observation, and   literature to   obtain data that is       used in the       creation of       design       concepts to       support the       comic book city Surabaya tourism guide. The data were analyzed by using multiple stage, apply the reduction         of data, data presentation, and         conclusion. After analyzing         the data, the found discuss      the design      concepts or      keywords "Modern". The      complaint is the latest, cutting  edge,  attitude  andway  of  thinking  and acting  in  accordance with  the demands of the times. The concept  of "Modern" aims to  show  that Surabaya is  a city that has developed technology.Acting, the concept of the menu-the menu is served to infuse the public perceptionthat the public Surabaya willing to learn and thrive in the new stuff. Abstract

The design work of this thesis aims to teach the importance of vegetable benefits as a media education for children aged 6-12 years. The selected media educational board game because it can facilitate the learning process and absoroption of information to children because it’s supported by enjoyable atmosphere and also can grow familiarity. Using board game which is exciting and interactive as a safe learning media to convey information about the importance of vegetables would be more efficient. Abstract

Abstract

Interest illustrated book about the introduction of  fruits name with a character-based system SIBI for children TKLB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya is as a learning medium that contains the values of science. The study was conducted with qualitative methods based on interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to support the design of a book about the house's name recognition fruits. Data can be analyzed at several stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. After analyzing the data found informative design concept, the average informative Indonesian big dictionary into said. This concept aims to be informative book designed to provide insight to the public about the introduction of fruits name. Mechanical reality promoted expected to help draft informative because it is interactive, so people can find out the name of the fruit in the dictionary SIBI. Abstract

Surabaya is known as the City of Heroes because it has a long history during the war of independence 10 November 1945. But many do not know that after the war of independence many historical buildings that witnessed history in liberating the city of Surabaya, for example there are still more than 200 buildings recorded today As a relic and protected by the government of Surabaya and still not many of these buildings are in the know history The purpose of the digital illustration book design of this historic building is to produce a book that contains information about the existence of historical buildings that are not known history and development goals by adolescents and the wider community. Abstract

Taman Bungkul of Surabaya is one of the city parks that have a very important role for the development of Surabaya city as evidenced with being visited by their local travelers even foreign tourists. To make tourists understand more about the available facilities, it required a precise information media. The Information Media being said is containing the form of environmental graphic design such as sign system and wayfinding inside the park. In this scheme, the data has been obtained and analyzed by using multiple stages, namely data reduction stage, data presentation, and conclusion. After analyzing the data, we've discovered a design concept or a keyword which is "Satisfied". "Satisfied" means content or feeling happy (relieved, excited) because it fulfilled the desire of the heart. The concept of "Satisfied" aims to show that the results of the environmental graphic redesign, which is in Taman Bungkul of Surabaya, can facilitate visitors both local and foreign tourists, so they can understand the whole information that being presented. That is to say, the concept of "Satisfied" is expected for visitors whom have difficulty in activities within the park such as finding a way to understand the signs, wayfinding, as well as supporting media such as mini-map and wayfinding map, and visitors can feel satisfied with the information that being provided. Abstract

Surabaya, the capital of East Java province make Surabaya as center of business, education, industry, and trade. Many people from outside Surabaya like Madura, Madiun, Kertosono, Kediri, Gresik, Blitar, Ponorogo, and others who seek his fortune in the city of Surabaya, for example by selling food. So Surabaya has a diverse culinary variety. Unfortunately, the negative impact of globalization is such as the collapse of social institutions and the erosion of local culture. Traditions and local culture can become extinct slowly cause abandoned by their own people. This is certainly true for typical culinary Indonesia, which is part of the local culture. so  Therefore, this study aimed to create a culinary Surabaya comic book as an attempt to preserve traditional culinary. The design of this comic book using qualitative data collection methods, by interview, observation, documentation studies, literature, and existing studies are very important to define the concept design study. From the analysis of these data, the theme of the design concept obtained is Friendly. The concept was used for most of the design theme of the comic book, both of the characters, the plot, the color chosen, and so forth. Efforts to interest young people in reading this comic book one with a comic fullcolour more interesting than comic books culinary existing ones, using the drawing style of manga that is familiar among adolescents in the hope the comic book medium can be a medium that can preserve traditional cuisine and attract teenagers to the local culture.Kata Kunci: Buku, Komik, Kuliner, Surabaya, Kuliner Tradisional

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi moderasi beragama dalam komik ModerArt menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana ikon, indeks, dan simbol digunakan untuk menggambarkan nilai-nilai toleransi, anti-kekerasan, pluralisme, serta penerimaan terhadap tradisi dan budaya lokal. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam menginternalisasi pesan-pesan moderasi beragama oleh pembaca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komik ModerArt berhasil mengkomunikasikan pesan moderasi beragama melalui elemen-elemen visual yang efektif, seperti penggunaan ikon yang menggambarkan sikap saling menghormati dan simbol kebangsaan yang menekankan pentingnya kerjasama lintas agama. Meskipun demikian, tantangan muncul dalam menggambarkan kekerasan tanpa mengurangi dampaknya serta memastikan pemahaman pesan yang lebih dalam oleh audiens yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa komik ModerArt dapat menjadi media efektif untuk menyebarkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, meskipun perlu ada penyesuaian untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut agar pesan dapat lebih mudah diterima oleh pembaca dari berbagai latar belakang.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan aspek vital dalam mencapai kesehatan menyeluruh, namun seringkali diabaikan terutama di negara berkembang. Fokus pada gangguan mental lebih dominan daripada usaha mempertahankan kesehatan mental. Psikosis, seperti yang dialami oleh penderita gangguan psikotik, menjadi tantangan serius. Penyebabnya kompleks, melibatkan faktor genetik, perkembangan otak, dan paparan stres. Cry of Fear, sebuah video game, memberikan narasi seputar kesehatan mental dan psikosis, yang menginspirasi penulis untuk menciptakan film pendek dengan tema serupa. Sebagai sutradara, penulis merinci proses kreatifnya, memilih warna biru sebagai simbol kekuatan dan suhu dingin. Film pendek ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan kesehatan mental sebagai masalah yang signifikan, serta menghadirkan kembali naratif Cry of Fear dalam genre thriller melalui gaya penyampaian cerita yang unik. Proses pembuatan film juga menyoroti peran sutradara sebagai kreator dan pemimpin, menghadirkan imajinasi dalam bentuk gambar dan visual. Hasil akhirnya diharapkan memberikan pengalaman menarik bagi penonton, sambil menyampaikan pesan penting tentang kesehatan mental.
