Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the growth response of eucalyptus to the application of granule biorganic fertilizer. The study was conducted in the village of Cindai Alus, South Kalimantan for 3 months. Observations were made by giving eucalyptus 4 treatments with different doses of bioorganic fertilizer, namely treatment A with a dose of 0 kg, treatment B with a dose of 0.5 kg, treatment C with a dose of 1 kg, and treatment D with a dose of 2 kg. To find out the dose of granular biorganic fertilizer that gives the best growth. There are 3 parameters taken in this observation, namely the increase in height, increase in diameter, and increase in the number of shoots. Based on data collection that has been done, it is known that treatment D has the best growth response, observational data shows that the increase in height is 23.22 cm, diameter is 2.86 mm, and shoots increase is 19 shoots.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon pertumbuhan dari kayu putih terhadap pemberian pupuk biorganik granul. Penelitian dilakukan di desa Cindai Alus, Kalimantan Selatan selama 3 bulan. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan memberikan kayu putih 4 perlakuan dengan takaran pupuk biorganik yang berbeda yaitu perlakuan A dengan takaran 0 kg, perlakuan B dengan takaran 0,5 kg, perlakuan C dengan takaran 1 kg, dan perlakuan D dengan takaran 2 kg, pemberian perlakuan ini bertujuan untuk mengentahui takaran dari pupuk biorganik granul yang memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik. Terdapat 3 parameter yang diambil pada pengamatan ini yaitu pertambahan tinggi, pertambahan diameter, dan pertambahan jumlah tunas. Berdasarkan pengambilan data yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa perlakuan D memiliki respon pertumbuhan yang terbaik, data pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pertambahan tinggi sebesar 23,22 cm, pertambahan diameter sebesar 2,86 mm, dan pertambahan tunas sebanyak 19 tunas.

Abstract

Biodiversity in species, and ecosystems is decreasing at a dangerous rate due to environmental damage. One method to describe a vegetation is vegetation analysis. This study aims to determine plant biodiversity and stand structure profile diagrams to provide an overview of vegetation conditions in the Labuhan DAM area. Determination of the location of the sample using the path method determined on the right and left of the river before and after the dam with a path length of 40 mx 20 m. Based on the analysis, the results found 10 species of understorey, 13 types of trees and the dominant tree canopy stratification, namely trembesi and alaban.Keanekaragaman hayati pada spesies, dan ekosistem semakin menurun pada tingkat yang membahayakan akibat kerusakan lingkungan. Salah satu metode untuk mendeskripsikan suatu vegetasi yaitu analisis vegetasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan dan diagram profil struktur tegakan guna memberikan gambaran kondisi vegetasi di kawasan Bendungan Labuhan. Penentuan lokasi sampel menggunakan metode jalur yang ditentukan pada kanan kiri sungai sebelum dan sesudah bendungan dengan panjang jalur 40 m x 20 m. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh hasil ditemukan 10 jenis tumbuhan bawah 13 jenis pohon dan stratifikasi tajuk pohon yang dominan yaitu trembesi dan alaban.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of nail wood seedlings and to determine the effect of the concentration of NPK fertilizer on the growth of nail wood seedlings. Parameters used include plant height, plant diameter, plant health. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of survival for nail wood grew medium success, namely 70% with 28 live seedlings from 40 seedlings, the highest percentage of survival was found in the NPK fertilizer dose of 7gr (80%) and the smallest was found in the control (60%). The increase in nail wood height with the highest value was in the treatment (2.5gr) with an average value of 3.9cm and the lowest value was found in the control. The diameter of the nail wood has the highest value at 5gr with an average value of 0.9cm increase. The increase in the number of leaves was not significantly different between the controls, 2.5gr, 5gr, and 7.5gr because the average leaf growth was 3 strandsAdapun maksud percobaan ini ialah demi memahami keuntungan semai kayu kuku serta mengetahui kontrol konsentrasi Pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan semai kayu kuku. Parameter yang  digunakan diantaranya, tinggi tanaman, diameter tanaman, kesehatan tanaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Persentase hidup kayu kuku tumbuh keberhasilan sedang yaitu 70% dengan 28 bibit yang hidup dari 40 bibit, persentase hidup tertinggi terdapat pada dosis pupuk NPK 7gr (80%) dan yang terkecil terdapat pada Kontrol (60%). Pertambahan tinggi kayu kuku dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu pada perlakuan (2,5gr) dengan nilai rata-rata 3.9cm dan nilai terendah terdapat pada kontrol. Diameter kayu kuku nilai tertinggi pada 5gr dengan nilai rata-rata pertambahan 0.9cm. Pertambahan jumlah daun tidak berbeda nyata antara kontrol, 2,5gr, 5gr, 7,5gr karena pertumbuhan daunnya rata-rata 3 helai.

Abstract

Opening of forest areas for agricultural land use and other land uses can cause land damage. Soil conservation is one way to maintain soil productivity. Soil conservation can be done using the type of serai wangi (Cymbopogan nardus) which is also an economic value for producing serai wangi oil. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of serai wangi on the physical and chemical properties of soil at the study site. The method used in this study was soil sampling using purposive sampling method in three locations, namely on alang-alang soil, lemongrass soil (aged 1 month) and fragrant lemongrass soil (age 1 year), then measuring the physical of the soil tested are soil texture, permeability, soil density, soil particle density and soil porosity, while soil chemical properties are pH, N-Total, P2O5, P-available, K2O, C-organic, Ca-dd, Mg-dd, K- dd, Na-dd, KTK, Basa Saturation. Texture measurement results in alang-alang soil, serai wangi soil (age 1 month) and serai wangi soil (1 year old) contain sand from 56.64% - 67.10%, clay at 8.74% -56.64 % and dust by 23.93% -67.63% (sandy clay clay). BD values range from 1.25 gr / cm³-1.66 gr / cm³. Soil permeability ranges from 0.45-2.77 cm / hour (rather slow). The value of soil porosity ranged from 26.63 to 55.07% (very poor-very good). Fertility status in the three treatments was assessed based on CEC ranging from 8.91-14.28 (low), base saturation ranged from 39.01-55.56 (high), P2O5 values ranged from 5.59-10.34 mg / 100g (very low-low), K-total ranges from 18.15-24.2 mg / 100g (low-medium), the organic C content ranges from 0.16-3.88% (very low-high). Based on the results of these measurements, the fertility value is declared low.Keywords: Soil Conservation;  Serai wangi

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine the effect of liquid fertilizer Lobo, Polyfert, Bionature on the growth of Mahogany plants and this research is the benefits to provide the best information of fertilizer that can be used in the maintenance of Mahogany plants. The design used in this study is Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and repetition as much as 40 times, so the number of plants observed as many as 160 plants. The parameters calculated in this study were the increase of plant height of each treatment, the increase of leaf number per treatment and the diameter of the stem per treatment. The results of variance analysis on plant height increase data showed that the fertilizer treatment was not significant, but the highest value was obtained on Polyfert fertilizer and thelowest was on the control treatment. The result of varian analysis to data of plant diameter increase showed that the fertilizer treatment was very significant, but the highest value was obtained on Polyfert fertilizer and the lowest was on Bionature fertilizer. While the result of varian analysis to data of increase of leaf number of plants, showed that the fertilizer treatment was very significant, but the highest value was obtained on Polyfert fertilizer and the lowest was on the control treatment.Keywords: Mahogany; Plants ; Polyfer Fertilizer; Lobo Fertilizer; Bionature Fertilizer.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Citronella (Cymbopogon citratus DC) kinds of gross plant that have the advantage of being able to grow dry and nutrient poor soil, citronella is also able to recorvery the physical and chemical properties of ex miner and also citronella has economic value. On this research atilization liquit organic fertilization to citronella plants on the pit mine, and knowing the best of growth on the every treatment. Location of the research at PT. Jorong Barutama Greston on Cut Channel UE Central location. This research using RAL 4 treatment with Polyfert, Bionature, LoBo, and Control repeated 50 times, so the number 200 plants with observed parameters of life, sprout growth, and dry biomass. The results ofresearch showing use Polyfert is better can be seen from the highest percentage of life with an average of 86%, the increase of bud buds a 5,20 averaging buds and for the measurement of plant biomass obtained an average of 68,86 gramsKeywords: Serai; liquid fertilizer; post mining land.ABSTRAK. Serai (Cymbopogon citratus DC) adalah tanaman jenis rumput-rumputan yang mempunyai keunggulan mampu tumbuh dilahan yang kering dan miskin unsur hara. Serai juga mampu memperbaiki sifat fisik dan kimia dilahan bekas penambangn dan juga serai mempunyai nilai ekonomis. Pada penelitian ini penggunaan pupuk organik cair pada tanaman serai bertujuan untuk mengamati daya hidup tanaman di lahan pasca tambang dan mengetahui pertumbuhan terbaik pada setiap perlakuan pada tanaman serai. Penelitian telah dilakukan di PT. Jorong Barutama Greston lokasi Cut Channel UE Central. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAL 4 perlakuan dengan pupuk Polyfert, Bionature, LoBo, dan Kontrol dan diulang sebanyak 50 kali, sehingga jumlahnya 200 tanaman dengan parameter yang diamati daya hidup, pertambahan tunas, dan biomassa kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk Polyfert lebih baik penggunaanya dapat dilihat dari presentase hidup terbanyak dengan rata-rata 86%, pertambahan tunas rata-rata 5,20 buah tunas dan untuk pengukuran biomassa tanaman didapatkan rata-rata 68,86 gram.Kata kunci: Serai; pupuk cair; lahan pasca tambang.

Abstract

Kecapi (Sandoricum koetjape Merr Burm. f.) has many benefits and uses of which fruit can be eaten, and the wood can be used for furniture. Therefore, the researchers conducted a study with the method of tissue culture (in vitro) because the kecapi wood has potential as an alternative wood. This research was conducted in a tissue culture laboratoryof UPT Food Crops and Horticulture Council, Guntung Manggis, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The treatment of the observed growth response i.e. explant for 8 weeks and the organ is formed from explant. We used a descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the formation of roots perfectly, occurred on treatment using the hormone combination of IBA and BAP with a concentration of 0.5 ppm; Formation of shoots perfectly, occurs in treatment uses a combination of hormone IBA and BAP with a concentration of 4 ppm; The formation of the callus, occurred on treatment using the hormone combination of IBA and BAP with a concentration of 0.5 ppm. So it can be inferred that the research response to the growth of the harp (Sandoricum koetjape Merr Burm. f.) against granting ZPT IBA and BAP in in vitro experiment based on all of the observation data obtained after 8 weeks there are 12 eksplan that make up the plant organs namely organogenesis and 1 eksplan that form the kalus. Most of the seeds of the harp that obtain treatment 0.5 ppm, 1 ppm, 2 ppm and 4 ppm only managed to reach the phase changes color to green and the addition of size or swell. The amount of esksplan nth response is present on the combination treatment ZPT IBA and BAP of 2 ppm.Keywords: Kecapi; In Vitro; Growth Response

Abstract

The increase of timber consumption by the industry is not balanced with the supply of raw materials which is precisely reduced in number. One of the types of alternative plants that can be utilized is Nyawai. This research aims to determine the variation of growth and percent of life of each family, in order to provide recommendations of the best families that are able to adapt in a KHDTK Riam Kiwa environment. This research uses Nyawai plant in forest area with special purpose (KHDTK) Riam Kiwa is 27 months old with 9 families from 3 different Provenans namely South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and central Kalimantan with a planting distance of 3 m x 3 m. Based on measurements obtained by the result of the highest lifetime survival percentage of 27 months Nyawai which averages 96%, the average height is 5, 539 m, the average diameter of 9.9 cm and the average bar straightness 4.45.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the live percentage of rubber grafting seeds in each treatment, analyzing the effect of ZPT concentration on growth and concentration of ZPT which gives the best growth against grafting seeds. Data analysis using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and repeated as many as 10 times, which amounted to 40 units of experiments. The time required for this study is ± 3 months. The equipment used is ruler, plastic label, polybag, sprinkler, camera, computer, stationery and measuring cup while the materials used are rubber grafting seeds PB 260 age 2 months, growth regulators (ZPT), and water. The data obtained from the first observation is done by Smirnov Kolmogorov test to know the normality and for the homogeneity test of variance done by Barlett test. The results obtained from this study is the live percentage of rubber grafting seedlings PB 260 for each treatment 100%. The treatments showed significant effect on leaf number parameter with average value A0 = 8,5, A1 = 9,7, A2 = 12,6 and A3 = 10,5. Based on the difference test the average treatment price of A2 (5ml ZPT / 1 liter of water) significantly different to other treatment. Abstract

This research purposes to determine seed growth of limau kuit explant by tissue culture with arranger growth IBA and BAP. This research is expected to give advantage for alternative supply limau kuit seeding by tisuue culture and give scientific information for develop best quality limau kuit seedling. Data collection and this research from weekly observations limau kuit explant. The results of the studySshowed that theecombination treatment of concentration withhthe addition of ZPT in the form of IBA and BAP gave a visible response to the concentration of treatment A with the addition of IBA and BAP hormones of 0.5 Ppm and treatment of B with the addition of the hormones IBA and BAP respectively 1 Ppm is more stimulating to the formation of shoots in  limau kuit seeds while in treatment C with the addition of the hormones IBA and BAP respectively as much as 2 Ppm and Treatment D with the addition of IBA and BAP hormones as much as 4 Ppm each stimulates root growth. Based on all the experiments from the observed data, there were 15 explants that experienced new organ growth and 2 explants that formed a small callus after being observed for 8 weeks.Keywords: explan; growth regulating agent; Limau kuit
