Abstract

The phenomenon of religious blasphemy cases in Indonesia, including the cases of Sukmawati and Meiliana, which are the focal points of this study, has raised concerns and garnered serious attention, even from academics. Accusations in cases of religious blasphemy are almost invariably based on interpretations of QS. al-Tauba [9]: 64-66. Therefore, this article aims to explore the alignment between these cases and the meanings contained within QS. al-Tauba [9]: 64-66 from legal and ethical perspectives. The data in this article are based on legal documents, books of Quranic exegesis, academic journal articles, reports from Human Rights Watch, and several national online news sources. Data collection techniques involved literature studies and case observations via the internet. The blasphemy cases accused against Sukmawati and Meiliana are described within the context of Indonesian law and analyzed using the ma’na-cum-maghza theory. This article concludes that the actions taken by Sukmawati and Meiliana were wrong and unethical. However, their actions cannot be categorized as criminal offenses. Based on the analysis of QS. al-Tauba [9]: 64-65, blasphemy does not fall into the category of criminal acts, but rather an ethical violation whose legal sanctions are in the hands of God, not humans. Thus, this article offers a new perspective on the interpretation and understanding of the term blasphemy. Kasus penistaan agama yang banyak terjadi di Indonesia, termasuk kasus Sukmawati dan Meiliana yang menjadi fokus kajian ini, telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran dan mendapatkan perhatian serius, bahkan dari akademisi. Tuduhan terhadap kasus penistaan agama tersebut hampir selalu didasarkan pada hasil penafsiran atas QS. al-Tauba [9]: 64-66. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kesesuaian antara kasus-kasus tersebut dengan makna yang terkandung dalam QS. al-Tauba [9]: 64-66 dari sudut pandang hukum dan etik. Data-data dalam artikel ini didasarkan pada dokumen hukum, kitab-kitab tafsir Al-Quran, artikel jurnal, laporan organisasi Human Right Watch dan beberapa sumber berita daring nasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan observasi kasus melalui internet. Kasus penistaan agama yang dituduhkan kepada Sukmawati dan Meiliana dideskripsikan dalam konteks hukum Indonesia dan dianalisis menggunakan teori ma’na-cum-maghza. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa apa yang dilakukan oleh Sukmawati dan Meiliana merupakan suatu tindakan yang salah dan tidak beretika. Namun demikian, tindakan keduanya tidaklah bisa dikategorikan sebagai tindakan pidana. Sebab, berdasarkan analisis atas QS. al-Tauba [9]: 64-65, penistaan agama tidaklah masuk kategori tindakan pidana, melainkan sebuah pelanggaran etika yang sanksi hukumnya berada di tangan Tuhan, bukan manusia. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan perspektif baru terkait penafsiran dan pemahaman terhadap istilah penistaan agama.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the social studies learning process using the concept of environmental maps for class IV students of MIN 11 Banjar. The research adopts a classroom action research approach conducted collaboratively between teachers and supervisors. The research subjects consist of 13 students from class IV of MIN 11 Banjar. The data collection methods employed in this study include interviews, observations, and tests. The research is conducted in two cycles: cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results indicate that the implementation of the concept of environmental maps in social studies learning has a positive impact on learning outcomes. The initial assessment conducted prior to the research implementation reveals a noticeable improvement in the learning outcomes after the utilization of environmental maps. Environmental maps serve as effective teaching tools in social studies, providing visual representations of the relationships between geographical features, human activities, and their impact on the environment. Through the utilization of these maps, students are able to develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter and establish connections between various elements in their surroundings. The concept of environmental maps encourages students to explore and analyze their local environment, nurturing a sense of place and fostering critical thinking skills. By engaging in interactive discussions and hands-on activities, students become active participants in the learning process, resulting in increased engagement and enhanced learning outcomes. Moreover, the collaborative nature of this research, involving both teachers and supervisors, contributes to the quality of the learning environment. The close cooperation between educators facilitates the sharing of knowledge, expertise, and instructional strategies, ultimately benefiting the students' learning experience. In conclusion, this study highlights the positive effects of integrating environmental maps in social studies learning for class IV students of MIN 11 Banjar. The utilization of environmental maps significantly enhances learning outcomes. The findings underscore the importance of employing innovative teaching methods, such as environmental maps, to enhance students' understanding and engagement in the learning process.

Abstract

Emotional stability refers to not over-expressing emotions, as excessive emotional expression can harm both physical and mental health. Meanwhile, self-control is an individual's ability to sensitively read situations, understand their own capabilities and the environment, and manage factors influencing student behavior in various situations. Students with good emotional stability tend to be able to control themselves, and vice versa. The research question in this study is whether there is a relationship between emotional stability and self-control among Grade XI students at SMAN 1 Keruak for the 2024/2025 academic year. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between emotional stability and self-control among at SMAN 1 Keruak in the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection technique in this study uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale as the primary data source and documentation as the supporting data source. This study uses a quantitative correlational method with a population and sample of 27 students in grade XI at SMAN 1 Mataram. Data analysis of the research results used inferential statistics, specifically the Spearman rank correlation test. The research findings revealed a strong and significant relationship between Emotional Stability and Self-Control Among Grade XI Students at SMAN 1 Keruak for the 2024/2025 Academic Year, as indicated by the Spearman rank correlation test result of 0.509.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model bimbingan kelompok tekhnik games  untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah pengembangan model bimbingan kelompok tekhnik games  untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Pringgajurang tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Kepercayaan diri siswa sangat penting bagi tumbuh kembang anak, hal ini perlu diupayakan sehingga anak tampil dengan kepercayaan diri dalam lingkungan pergaulan. Dengan banyaknya interaksi yang dilakukan individu dapat membantu peningkatan kepercayaan diri pada individu sehingga dalam penelitian ini bimbingan kelompok menjadi sarana yang dirasa tepat untuk dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa mengingat dalam bimbingan kelompok terdapat interaksi yang intens antar peserta. Sedangkan tekhnik game digunakan untuk memancing semangat dan antusias siswa dalam sesi bimbingan kelompok yang diharapkan dapat memicu interaksi yang dinamis. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D), dengan pendekatan kuntitatif. Penelitian ini meneliti pengembangan model bimbingan kelompok tekhnik games  untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kemudian hasil penelitian ini nantinya akan dihubungkan dengan teori-teori yang ada pada tinjauan pustaka. Adapun yang dijadikan sebagai subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Pringgajurang yang berjumlah 15  orang. Sementara variable atau bahan kajian dari penelitian ini adalah  bimbingan kelompok tekhnik games (variable X) dan kepercayaan diri siswa (variable Y). Model bimbingan kelompok teknik games yang dikembangkan dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai uji Z sebesar -2,814 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.005, maka nilai 0.005 > 0.05 yang berarti mendekati nilai 0 sehingga signifikan

Abstract

community service in Mekarsari Village. Methods for implementing service include: forming a service team, preparing service needs, cleaning the environment and providing rubbish bins. Service activities carried out include: 1) Formation of a service team consisting of academics, the community and village government. 2) Preparation for the needs for implementing the service begins with directing and checking tools and materials in the form of brooms, shovels, buckets, plastic, hoes and sickles prepared by the community. 3) Environmental clean-up is carried out around the Malaka hamlet kindergarten to maintain the comfort and health, especially of children, as well as to create interest and life for tourists because it is on the tourist route, and 4) procurement of rubbish bins, procurement of rubbish bins purchased from local community wickerwork and then painted as markers and fixed to make them look different or better

Abstract

Slang represents a dynamic and informal aspect of language, often reflecting cultural identity and creativity. This study examines the types and meanings of slang words used in six episodes of the Wednesday series (2022), aiming to explore their linguistic and pedagogical significance. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on Miles and Huberman’s content analysis framework, the study categorizes slang words into four types: coinage, blending, clipping, and acronyms. Coinage emerged as the most frequently used type, contributing to the series' authenticity and narrative depth, while blending, clipping, and acronyms provided linguistic variety. The findings highlight the potential of popular media as a resource for EFL learning, offering learners exposure to authentic informal communication. Slang enhances vocabulary acquisition, listening comprehension, and cultural understanding, making it a valuable tool for bridging formal education and real-world language use. However, the study’s scope is limited to six episodes, leaving room for future research to explore additional contexts and pedagogical outcomes. This research underscores the relevance of incorporating media into language instruction, providing practical insights for educators and learners. By analyzing the interplay between slang and media, the study contributes to applied linguistics and supports innovative approaches in EFL pedagogy.

Abstract

The greatness of Ibn Khaldun's name makes the world recognized and reviewed his thoughts. If we revisit the treasury of medieval Islamic intellectual thought and develop a tradition of thought in the world of campus, this tradition and culture is good to do. This paper raises who is really the figure of Ibn Khaldun and how his thoughts are especially on his social cultural thinking. Ibn Khaldun's theory of social phenomena includes the theory of evolution that views social phenomena as the dynamics of society, nations and states that differ across generations. The human society according to Ibn Khaldun is an independent entity. and can be perfectly managed regardless of religious values. He says humans can be good and evil at the same time. Man is evil because of animal nature, and on the contrary, man is good because of his involvement with other human beings. Ibn Khaldun's mind is so visionary that it is relevant to the context of the development of the era as developed by modern philosophers which actually comes from the socio-cultural view of Ibn Khaldun. Begitu besar nama Ibn Khaldun sehingga dunia mengakui dan mengkaji kembali pemikiran-pemikirannya. Jika kita menguak kembali khazanah pemikiran intelektual Islam abad pertengahan dan mengembangkan tradisi pemikiran di dunia kampus, tradisi dan budaya ini bagus untuk dilakukan. Tulisan ini mengangkat siapakah sesungguhnya sosok Ibn Khaldun itu dan bagaimana pemikirannya khususnya pada pemikiran sosial budayanya. Teori fenomena sosial Ibn Khaldun termasuk teori evolusi yang memandang fenomena sosial sebagai dinamika masyarakat, bangsa dan negara yang berbeda antar generasi. Masyarakat manusia menurut Ibn Khaldun adalah suatu entitas yang independen. dan dapat diurus secara sempurna lepas dari nilai-nilai agama. Menurutnya manusia bisa baik clan jahat pada saat yang sama. Manusia jahat karena adanya sifat dasar kebinatangan, dan sebaliknya, manusia itu baik karena keterlibatannya dengan manusia lain. Pemikiran Ibn Khaldun sangat visioner sehingga relevan dengan konteks perkembangan jaman sebagaimana yang kemudian dikembangkan oleh filsuf modern yang sesungguhnya bermuara dari pandangan sosial budaya Ibnu Khaldun.

Abstract

Islam provides the guidance of human life from the smallest problem to the greatest affairs, ranging from household affairs, sleep, eat and drink up to the affairs of the nation and state. This paper raises how Islam covers all aspects of life as a religion of humanity. If taken seriously in the verses of the Qur'an or as Sunnah, will undoubtedly be found, that the core of the teachings of Islam is faith and righteousness. Islam is more than a formal religion, but it is also a great treatise for social transformation and a challenge to personal interests. Islam is a humanism, a religion that is very concerned with humanity as a central goal. This is the basis of Islam. Therefore, the greatest task of Islam is actually to transform social and cultural transformation with Islamic values. Islam memberikan tuntunan hidup manusia dari persoalan yang paling kecil hingga ke urusan yang paling besar, mulai dari urusan rumah tangga, tidur, makan dan minum sampai pada urusan bangsa dan negara. Tulisan ini mengangkat bagaimana Islam mencakup segala aspek kehidupan sebagai agama kemanusiaan. Jika dicermati secara serius dalam ayat-ayat al Quran maupun as sunnah, niscaya akan ditemukan, bahwa inti ajaran Islam adalah iman dan amal saleh. Islam lebih dari sekedar sebuah agama formal, tetapi juga risalah yang agung bagi transformasi sosial dan tantangan bagi kepentingan-kepentingan pribadi. Islam adalah sebuah humanisme, yaitu agama yang sangat mementingkan manusia sebagai tujuan sentral. Inilah dasar Islam. Oleh karena itu, tugas terbesar Islam sesungguhnya adalah melakukan transformasi sosial dan budaya dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

We have the expectation of the birth of change which makes our life blissful. Among the educators and the intellects, a new awareness is now there for growing and developing the open-mindedness (inclusive) on religion comprehension. The birth of intellectual thinking of transformative Islam, liberal, inclusive, contextual, and many other terms whatsoever are the new era for desecration of the thought of Islam (alla taqsidiyyah). Moreover, the contemporary liberal-inclusive thoughts such as Hassan Hanafi, Arkoun, al Jabiri, al Naim, and so forth were already introduced to the young intellects generation in Indonesia. This article discusses about the absolute claims of some religions and also multicultural approach to create the harmony life among people with different religions. Kita masih memiliki harapan akan lahirnya perubahan yang menggembirakan. Di kalangan akademisi dan intelektual kita, kini telah muncul ‘kesadaran baru’ bagi tumbuh dan berkembangnya pemikiran terbuka (inklusif) dalam pemahaman agama. Munculnya pemikiran intelektual Islam transformative, liberal, inklusif, kontekstual, dan apapun istilahnya merupakan era baru bagi desakralisasi pemikran Islam (alla taqdisiyyah). Apalagi kemudian pemikiran-pemikiran kontemporer liberal-inklusif seperti Hassan Hanafi, Arkoun, al Jabiri, al Naim, dan seterusnya telah disosialisasikan oleh generasi intelektual muda di Indonesia. Artikel ini membahas klai-klaim absolut dari beberapa agama dan juga pendekatan multicultural untuk menciptakan kehidupan harmonis di kalangan umat beragama.

Abstract

Islam is the religion of Allah which contains the teachings and guidance that must be held and used as a guidance by its adherents to the happiness of the world and in the afterlife. The teachings of Islam include the teachings of monotheism and shari'a or faith and charity. Of course these aspects of Islamic teachings must be understood well through learning or seeking knowledge. This is where science is necessary and important. Thus science is part of the religion itself. It occupies a position or as part of religion and has a function as an instrument or means to obtain the goal of religion, which is to obtain the happiness of the world and the hereafter. In other words, the relationship between religion and science is symbiotic, because religion calls on the pursuit of science and gives a noble position to the scientist. Similarly, the relationship occurs between religion and philosophy. Both have the same direction. Philosophy is the knowledge of what is right. The religion explains what is right and good based on revelation and reason. Islam adalah agama Allah SWT yang berisikan ajaran-ajaran dan tuntunan yang harus dipegang dan dijadikan pedoman oleh pemeluknya untuk kebahagiaan dunia maupun di akhirat. Ajaran-ajaran Islam tersebut meliputi ajaran tauhid dan syari’ah atau iman dan amal. Sudah barang tentu aspek-aspek ajaran Islam tersebut harus dipahami dan dimengerti melalui belajar atau mencari ilmu. Di sinilah ilmu itu perlu dan penting. Dengan demikian ilmu merupakan bagian dari agama itu sendiri. Ia menempat posisi atau kedudukan sebagai bagian dari agama dan memiliki fungsi sebagai instrumen/sarana untuk memperoleh tujuan agama, yaitu memperoleh kebahagiaan dunia maupun akhirat. Dengan kata lain, hubungan agama dan ilmu bersifat simbiotik, karena agama menyeru pada pencarian ilmu dan memberikan posisi mulia bagi ilmuwan. Demikian pula hubungan antara agama dan filsafat. Keduanya memiliki arah yang sama. Filsafat adalah pengetahuan tentang apa yang benar. Adapun agama menerangkan apa yang benar dan baik berdasarkan wahyu dan akal.
