Abstract

Perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar memiliki peran yang besar dalam dunia pendidikan, misalnya dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan, ketrampilan, dan sikap murid. Demikian pesatnya, maka keberadaan perpustakaan sebagai sumber informasi mutlak diperlukan di sekolah-sekolah. Perpustakaan merupakan salah satu sarana yang sangat penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Pelaksanaan pendidikan di semua jenjangnya, mulai dari yang paling rendah (Taman Kanak-kanak) sampai yang paling tinggi (Perguruan Tinggi), tidak akan berjalan dengan lancar tanpa dukungan sarana perpustakaan. Hal ini dikarenakan kegiatan pembelajaran tidak bisa dilepaskan dengan buku sebagai sumber informasi, demikian pula sumber informasi yang lain seperti peta, globe, dan sebagainya, yang biasanya tersedia di perpustakaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data dari lokasi atau lapangan. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun dalam analisisnya menggunakan Langkah-langkah analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif, yaitu data Reduction, data Display, dan data Conclusion Drawing / Verification. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu upaya yang dilakukan perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik MA Al-Hikmah Way Halim Bandar Lampung adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Penyediaan bahan pustaka yang dapat memenuhi fungsi perpustakaan; 2) Meningkatkan pelayanan perpustakaan; 3) memperkenalkan dan membimbing mereka agar gemar dan mau baca buku; 4) Bekerja sama dengan guru kelas; 5) memotivasi minat baca peserta didik dengan jalan mengadakan pameran buku; 6) membuat klipping dari koran, majalah, atau buletin; 7) menyusun koleksi buku dengan sistem yang rapih; 8) membuat administrasi peminjaman.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of the Time Games Tournament (TGT) method on improving students' learning outcomes and their response towards the TGT method. The methodology employed in this study is a quantitative true experimental design, utilizing data collection techniques such as pre-tests and post-tests, as well as a student response questionnaire. Sample selection was conducted using random sampling techniques, with data analysis including Shapiro-Wilk normality tests, hypothesis testing using paired t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. The results of the study indicate that the TGT method significantly enhances students' learning outcomes, as evidenced by the normal distribution of the data. The paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a substantial impact of the TGT method on students' learning outcomes. Additionally, the N-Gain results showed a mean value of 57.6%, suggesting a satisfactory level of effectiveness for instructional purposes. Regarding students' responses to the TGT method, 83% expressed their interest, stating they are "Interested" in using the TGT method for learning purposes. This indicates a positive reception of the method among the student population involved in the study.

Abstract

Kompetensi guru sangat penting untuk ditanamkan dalam setiap pembelajaran terkhusus pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Menyediakan pendidikan berkualitas di semua jalur pendidikan, termasuk madrasah, merupakan kebutuhan fundamental. Tujuan utama pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk meneliti strategi Wakil Direktur KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 7 dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Metode penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif. Di mana menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bertujuan mengumpulkan data dan informasi secara langsung. Hasil penelitian mengungkap strategi yang digunakan Wakil Direktur KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 7 dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru Antara lain dengan; (1) mengaktifkan kelompok kerja guru (KKG) lingkup guru dan KKG lingkup santri dalam mata pelajaran serumpun, (2) Memberi motivasi kepada para guru, mendorong dan memberi kesempatan seluas-luasnya kepada guru untuk berinovasi, berkreativitas dan selalu meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilannya, (3) mengikutsertakan guru- guru dalam pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi akademik, (4) mengadakan rapat evaluasi guru, (5) melaksanakan supervisi kelas, (6) senantiasa konsisten menerapkan reward dan punishment secara berkeadilan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menyediakan model strategis yang dapat diterapkan oleh berbagai lembaga pendidikan dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru, khususnya di bidang Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Al-Islam learning in enhancing students' understanding of prayer (shalat) at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung. Observations revealed that students' comprehension of prayer remains theoretical and is not fully applied in daily life. Many students memorize prayers without understanding their meaning and lack consistency in performing shalat, especially outside school hours. Factors such as technology influence, social environment, heavy academic workload, and less engaging teaching methods pose challenges in raising students' awareness of the importance of prayer. To address these issues, the school has implemented an integrative learning method combining theory and direct practice. This approach includes utilizing the school mosque as a learning center, fostering a culture of mutual encouragement among students, and providing continuous motivation and guidance from the school. Additionally, the integration of educational technology, standardized prayer teaching methods, and academic schedule adjustments are key strategies to ensure that students not only understand prayer theoretically but also practice it with full awareness and sincerity. Through this approach, it is expected that students' spiritual character will be better developed, enabling them to make shalat an inseparable part of their lives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Program on the Memorization Quality of fourth-grade students at MI Darul Amanah Kalianda. The research employed a quantitative method with causal theory. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the t-test and simple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The study population consisted of 26 fourth-grade students, using a total population approach. Data analysis using SPSS software resulted in the regression equation Y = 31.182 + 0.587X, where the Tahfidz Program significantly influenced Memorization Quality with a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05). The t-test results showed tcount = 6.927, greater than ttable = 1.711, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Thus, the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Program has been proven to have a positive and significant impact on improving students' memorization quality. This study emphasizes the importance of structured tahfidz program implementation, parental support, and student motivation to optimize tahfidz learning outcomes in schools

Abstract

This study focuses on the low motivation of students in learning Islamic Education (PAI) subject in Grade V at SDN 1 Kalibalau Kencana, Bandar Lampung. Several students appear to be less enthusiastic and lack enthusiasm in participating in the learning process. To address this issue, the teacher implements the use of visual media to enhance students' motivation to learn. The aim of this research is to determine how the use of visual media can be employed to improve students' motivation in learning PAI in Grade V. This study adopts a qualitative approach with data collection methods including interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process is carried out through reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results show that the use of PowerPoint visual media can create a more engaging and interactive learning environment. This encourages students to be more active during lessons. The learning process begins with opening activities such as greetings, prayer, attendance check, and ice-breaking. Next, the teacher delivers the material on Asmaul Husna using visual media. At the end of the lesson, the teacher and students collaboratively summarize the material and conduct a question-and-answer session. This approach effectively boosts students' motivation and involvement in the PAI learning process.

Abstract

Young generations in the digital era face serious challenges in maintaining their Islamic identity due to the rapid flow of globalization, the penetration of popular culture, and the influence of social media, which often contradict Islamic values. This condition has led some adolescents and youth to experience moral degradation, a decline in interest toward religious studies, and a tendency to be more attracted to instant entertainment content. Conventional religious studies that are monotonous are often less appealing to Millennials and Gen Z, thus requiring innovative models of religious education that are relevant, engaging, and suitable for the characteristics of the digital generation. This Community Service Program (KKN) carried the theme “Strengthening Islamic Character of Young Generations through Interactive Multimedia-Based Studies at the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Central Lampung Regency.” The main objective was to improve the understanding, internalization, and practice of Islamic values through creative, participatory, and enjoyable approaches. The program was implemented over one month with eight face-to-face sessions. The methods included interactive lectures, motivational video screenings, Islamic animation, group discussions, digital quizzes, and the establishment of an online discussion group via WhatsApp to maintain continuity of learning. Evaluation was carried out through field observation, pre-test and post-test, as well as in-depth interviews with participants and partners. The results showed an increase in religious understanding from an average of 58% to 82%, with active participation reaching 87%. Moreover, a youth community named Forum Pemuda Islami Lampung Tengah (FOPILTENG) was established, which is committed to continuing monthly studies independently. Technical obstacles such as limited multimedia facilities were successfully overcome by facilitators’ creativity, including utilizing simple devices and free digital platforms. Overall, the interactive multimedia-based approach proved to be effective in enhancing learning motivation, strengthening Islamic character, and fostering togetherness among youth. This model has the potential to be replicated in other regions as a strategic effort to nurture a religious, well-characterized, and competitive young generation in facing global challenges.

Abstract

Learning is a dynamic process involving interactions between students, educators, and learning resources in an environment designed to achieve a deep understanding of the material. One of the challenges often faced in education is learning difficulties, especially in subjects considered difficult such as Mathematics and English. Additional tutoring programs outside of class hours are a solution to help students overcome the academic difficulties they face. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a tutoring program in addressing learning difficulties in Kedondong District, with a focus on Mathematics and English. This program involves students experiencing difficulty understanding the subject matter and provides intensive guidance using an interactive approach and the use of technology-based learning media, such as multimedia and educational quizzes, which make learning more engaging. The evaluation results show a significant increase in student understanding of the material, as well as positive changes in student motivation, independence, and self-confidence. This program not only successfully improves academic understanding but also fosters a higher enthusiasm for learning in students. Despite challenges, such as limited resources and differences in student understanding levels, this program is able to create a conducive learning environment. Therefore, it is hoped that this program can be replicated in other regions to improve the quality of education in a sustainable manner, by involving various parties, such as the government, educational institutions, and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of musyrifah halaqoh in guiding the implementation of Dzuhur congregational prayer for female students at the Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School (PontrenMu) Darul Arqom Natar, South Lampung. Musyrifah plays an important role as a guide, supervisor, and role model in shaping the discipline of worship of female students. Challenges faced include fatigue of female students after academic activities and memorization, differences in individual character, and the influence of peers who lack enthusiasm. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and was conducted at PontrenMu Darul Arqom Natar. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of musyrifah through halaqoh has a positive impact on increasing the discipline and devotion of female students in congregational prayer. Guidance efforts are carried out through role models, providing advice in halaqoh, supervision, and routine evaluation. Thus, the guidance of the musyrifah halaqoh has proven effective in fostering awareness, responsibility, and understanding among female students regarding the importance of performing congregational prayer in a disciplined and consistent manner
