Abstract

Culture Coffee MSME is one of the MSMEs engaged in the culinary field and is experiencing business competition. A marketing strategy is needed with the right decision-making process so that the business can survive and excel. UMKM Culture Coffee uses a point of sales application to accommodate the transaction process and record transactions. Historical customer data can be processed into a basis for decision making for marketing strategies that effectively increase sales. However, the transaction data has not been used optimally. There is a need to analyze historical customer data that can generate information to form marketing strategies. Market Basket Analysis (MBA) is one of the methods in data mining used in knowing products that tend to be purchased together by customers known as Association Rule.  Association rules produce products in the form of packages or bundling which are used as marketing strategies. The marketing strategy obtained is supported by data visualization which contains information from the data. Apriori algorithm is used to generate association rules. The result of this research is an association rule on the historical data of MSME Culture Coffee customer purchases. Based on these rules, recommendations for selling menu packages to customers can be given. The purpose of this research is to find customer purchasing patterns which are used as the basis for decision making in determining menu sales. The results showed 2 product packages, namely, nuggets and french fries with sausages and french fries with a support and confidence value of 12.5% and 37.6% with 10.8% and 29% respectively. The results of this study can be used as a basis for the sales and marketing strategy of Culture Coffee MSMEs to increase business revenue.

Abstract

The menu is one of the most fundamental aspects of business continuity in the culinary industry. One of the tools that can be used for menu analysis is menu engineering. Menu engineering is an analytical tool that assists restaurants, companies, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in assessing and making decisions on marketing strategies, menu design, and sales so that it can produce maximum profit. In this study, several menu engineering models were proposed, and the performance of these models was analyzed. This study used a dataset from the Point of Sales (POS) application in an SME engaged in the culinary field. This research consists of three stages. First, pre-processing the data, comparing the models, and evaluating the models using the Davies Bouldin index. At the model comparison stage, four models are being compared: K-Means, K-Means++, K-Means using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), and K-Means++ using SVD. SVD is used in the dataset transformation process. K-Means and K-Means++ algorithms are used for grouping menu items. The experiments show that the K-Means++ model with SVD produced the most optimal cluster in this research. The model produced an average cluster distance value of 0.002; the smallest Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) value is 0.141. Therefore, using the K-Means++ model with SVD in menu engineering analysis produces clusters containing menu items with high similarity and significant distance between groups. The results obtained from the proposed model can be used as a basis for strategic decision-making of managing price, marketing strategy, etc., for SMEs, especially in the culinary business.

Abstract

The administration section has an essential role in the church's administrative processes. Administrative staff are required to have an accurate and efficient way of working. In routine tasks, the administrative staff is closely involved in correspondence administration. The mail management system at Gereja Kristen Indonesia (GKI) Tegalrejo Salatiga office still uses the conventional filing system. This causes complex mail monitoring, and many must be following up immediately, making the correspondence administration process ineffective. Therefore, a mail management Electronic Office information system is required to accommodate the needs of business processes in church offices. The software development method used in this research employs the System Engineering Life Cycle model developed by Alexander Kossiakoff with the Concept Development stage. This research resulted in a design of an Electronic Office information system needs with mail management that suits the needs of church offices. The results of this research can be a blueprint to help the process of further Electronic Office software development so the GKI Tegalrejo Salatiga office can implement it to improve correspondence administration services.

Abstract

Services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) continue to be improved by the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (DinKopUKM) of Salatiga City. One way is to implement technology in various services. These applications need to be supported by the principle of information integration so that there is no data redundancy and dissemination of valid and reliable data is achieved. In this research, a resource server was built using RESTFul which allows third party systems to connect to product components to query information about objects and perform basic operations using the HTTP protocol. And using Oauth 2.0 is an open authorization protocol that allows third-party systems or applications via the HTTP protocol to access resources with certain access rights. This system is divided into four main parts, namely MSME actors registered in the system as resource owners, third party applications as data requesters/recipients, resource servers as resource service providers, and authorization servers which are useful for validating the identity of users and third party applications. With an integrated system, MSME players in the city of Salatiga do not need to repeat the MSME data collection process when using other information systems provided by the Salatiga city government while maintaining the security and privacy of user data.
